We stay here a few times annually, excellent place with excellent customer service. The most recent time I arrived very late and the rest of my party was already set up. The next morning/ afternoon the camp employees came around to be sure we had arrived and ensured I was okay with them charging the card I made the reservation with or if I wanted to use another card. Very flexible and reasonable

Was only a one night stay, but we had a great time . Being able to have our boats there was very convenient. Staff was very nice! We plan to come back many times.

We had a wonderful stay overnight at the Santee KOA. Was able to get the perfect site next to the water and watch the sunset on the beach. And the pizza was great for our dinner!

I had an excellent and most relaxing 10 days. The staff was terrific, always there to help. There's plenty to occupy oneself whether young or old with outdoor games, playground, beach, pier and a very nice game room. Have a 7 year old granddaughter that would love KOA Journey. And yes, the pizza and wings are most excellent as well, especially loaded thin crust.

We have stayed here numerous times & have never had a less than AMAZING experience!! We tent camp & are always running behind on checkout day. They have never said anything about it to us which I appreciate so very much!! The bathhouse is always clean. Every time we leave I am sad that we didn't have more time!!

Single night, primitive campsite, road trip from MD to South FL. Gorgeous campground and campsite. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Expensive for a primitive campsite. I get it…lots of amenities and would be a great place for camper/RV camping with family for a few days. For what I needed, it was too much.

Wonderful facility. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Everything was clean. Only complaint is that the bathroom stalls in the women’s rooms were not locking well, and could use some updating.

One night, wish we could have stayed longer, it was wonderful. Nice and quiet after 10pm. Enjoyed the fire pit. Quiet in the morning. I will be back again, and I will be recommending to my family and friends.

I love the staff. They all so welcoming and nice. I like the location and service. I just think the bathrooms close the J section need a little more love and repair. Doors do not close all the way and the shower need to have better drainage. They usually come twice a day to clean them which ain't bad. Definitely they need to have the shower repaired by the pool.

We had a very good trip. I do wish there were some restrictions on bright lights at nightime. It’s really hard for tent campers to sleep when a neighbor has a lot of outdoor lighting. Only other thing worth mentioning is the bathroom shower stall doors don’t lock properly, so privacy is tough

The employees are very nice. The sites are not too bad. but The one we were in had a lot of ants, that actually got into my truck. Luckily I had treated my tent so no ants got in. It is fairly close to I95 so it was a little noisy at night. I might try it out in the fall or early spring.

I needed to stop on a road trip north and really glad I was able to stay here. I called beforehand and they were extremely accommodating when assigning me my spot and even lent me a camping chair when I realized I forgot mine. I was car camping so had to use the bathhouse which was relatively well kept for an outdoor, camping bathroom. As a single woman I felt safe and would camp here again.

Campers next to use kept up us ALL night till they left at 630am. They where running air compressors at midnight, and loading kayaks on top their truck at 3. Hollering across the camp at each other and opening and closing doors all night. They had these insanely bright flashlights and 3 feet tall lanterns they didnt even try to keep from flashing all around. Then pool and store wasnt open at 815

Quiet Hours not enforced, kids and adults were very noisy well into the night. Only plus was beach access. Also, over priced sites for what you get. Site had ivy all around and abandoned equipment, would not suggest a tent site with kids. These sites also had roots all over them with a horrible place to place a tent

People next space to mine were up until 4am playing loud music, talking out loud, yelling, swearing & making lots of NOISE! CAMPERS approach them to ask them to keep it down. But it ONLY GOT WORSE!! I CALLED the Emergency After hrs number on the flyer given..but NO ONE PICK UP OR ANSWERED! PLACE was dirty, smelly & very run down. Bathroom and shower area was dirty, Hot & Stuffy. Not worth visi

My family and I had a blast. It was the best campground we have been to with our kids. The amenities sold us. Now we are looking at only booking at KOAs. Thank you all for your hospitality.

There was no air conditioning in the bathhouse near campsite H8. Very uncomfortable. You almost needed to get back in the shower to cool off. Other than that it was a nice quiet stay.

Everything at the campground was excellent and the staff was very courteous and nice. Overall my experience was very good and my friends enjoyed it too.

The staff are so accomodating, the grounds are very clean, we have visited this koa several times (tent and rv) and love staying here!

This was a great stay for us as we used the camp as a base to go to the Congaree National park and the Santee National Wildlife refuge. The boardwalk was a great place to drink morning coffee and watch the sun set in the evening. We were in a tent and I think that later in the season it would get too hot. This was perfect. The hospitality here was top level.

Have already recommended to family. Overall a very nice stay and clean. Close to the water for activities. Only thing was the men’s showers could have been a bit cleaner. Otherwise a great stay!

The pool wasn't open but the staff was friendly , the sites spacious and the view beautiful. Only two tent sites though so be aware.
