Very unorganized too many projects going at once! Infested with ants! Needs better management!! Every visit seems to get worse!!

The stay overall was ok however we were paid through Tuesday but due to an emergency we had to leave on Monday. We did stay slightly past the checkout but still not the entire day. Due to the nature of the emergency and being “valued”customers I figured we would receive a refund for Tuesday since we left and we didn’t leave a mess or anything. However they didn’t even offer to refund it

Wonderful experience. The staff are friendly and accommodating - and they deliver pizza to your door (even in the rain)!!!

Love coming here and camping Lakeside. Excited for all the upgrades happening. Staff here is the absolute best. Wish the WiFi was upgraded already, this was our second visit this season with no Wi-Fi and little to no cell service.

We had reservations for 3 days but due to the heavy rains in the area, our camper decided to leak. That was day 2 and unfortunately, the rain was going to continue so we had to cut our trip short due to the situation. We went to the office and had the pleasure of working with Sharon, who was sympathetic to our situation and very pleasant to work with. Great customer service. Plz acknowledge her!

I requested a spot near the restroom which I got, however, the restrooms were under construction and all torn apart. The KOA seemed to have potential and may have been nice at one time but was run down with many things needing repair and updating.

Our site was okay for a one nighter but there was a trash oder and we were next to a construction/renovation project. Bathrooms were clean.

First, let’s explore the more negative things about our stay. The WiFi is nonexistent, which was sad because we stayed the entire week and had no way to connect our tv or computer. The bath house/laundry were under renovations and not available for use during our stay. Aside from these issues, the park is peaceful and gorgeous. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We plan to return again.

Your staff is super friendly and helpful. Really nice. The only issue I have and have noticed this for some time is while you are adding nice cabins and what looks like a gathering place the roads around the campground need improvement and the sites could definitely stand some maintenance and leveling. Also you have a very old motor home on one site that really needs to go. A creepy eyesore.

The staff were very friendly, but our site was not to our liking. The site was not level, it was nothing but dirt and we didn't realize, until the next morning, that we were parked on an ant hill. Our entire RV got invaded with tons of ants and we also got bit! Not a pleasant experience.

It was a great weekend camping. The facilities (showerhouse/bathroom) were clean. The grounds were clean. The pool and even the pool deck was clean. My only complain was there was no wifi. I know, first world problems. But it is advertised and this is the second KOA in a month that we have been too that their wifi isn't working. Very frustrating. Other than that, the staff was great and welcoming!

There are ants everywhere. No matter how clean we kept our site I had to go buy ant poison, they were everywhere. The beach area was disgusting. Trash all over, seaweed everywhere. It was gross and not kept up at all. The bathrooms are disgusting and only 1 toilet worked.

Everything was nice and especially the day that the cold water was added to the pool so it was more refreshing. The bathhouses were clean for the most part and the site was great. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing I can add is that maybe a table or bench be added to the showers to have a place for belongs to sit easier.

I was supposed to receive a discount for staying in the same state I live in and did not receive it. Upon making the reservation I was told that when they verified my residency at check in I would be given the SC residency discount. Upon check in the lady at the desk couldn’t figure it out and told me the manager was busy but she would have him call me. I never received a call or any communicati

Dog park gate does not latch. Dog park could be bigger. Ants were getting in the camper.

Love the view from G2. Lots of ants this trip. Needs a lot of renovations here, but money must be tight. Poor wireless/internet service. They need more groundskeeping personnel for cutting grass, weed eating, and raking the beach area. This site has a lot of transients coming through for the night. overall, we stay here a lot. It just seems like money and personnel are sooo lean.

Friendly staff, ANTS were everywhere. They got inside the RV, cupboards, showers, on the roof. You control the Ants it would be a 8/9 KOA

Tiny ants invaded our coach overnight. There wasn't a blade of grass, just dirt on an uneven tiny site. Suggest you get a handle on the ant problem soon. We also heard from someone there that they were invaded as well & they were on the other side of the campground.

36' motorhome towing; 50 amp FHU pull thru was very level and wide enough with plenty of shade. Having food available for delivery from the KOA is an asset we enjoy, especially on arrival day. Staff was accommodating and very helpful with our plans to camp with another family, and very much appreciated. The access to the lake was convenient and walkable from any site location.

The only issue we had/have is the wi fi. It never works. We stay here lots of times during the year and this is our only complaint. It seems all KOAs in USA have issues with wi fi

We've been camping here for a very long time and always enjoy our stays. I really like the pool now that it's 3ft to 5ft. The new restrooms and laundry room are very nice, clean and well kept.

Your front office staff is quite welcoming and always so helpful. This is our third visit. We know there are some "hiccups" with so much work going on in the park. That is simply progress in motion. We feel safe with you and LOVE having the waterfront view! Keep up the good work and hope to see you again on our return trip.

booked a spot for my pop-up. My daughter and son-in-law and grandkids booked them a tent site. We had an awesome time. You can choose to swim in the lake. there are plenty of lounge chairs in the shade.There is a playground with cornhole. Volleyball. If you do not want to swim in the lake, they have a pool that is 5 foot deep plenty of space to swim. Lots are very shady, everyone is super friendly

We were there 2 nights and our RV was infested with ants. We had been traveling through different KOAs for the past month and this was the first campground where this happened. We had low water pressure at our site. Our tankless hot water heater requires 50psi at minimum in order to take a shower. This caused an unnecessary inconvenience. Beach lawn furniture was filthy with bird excrement.

I’m not sure if this is a new thing for KOA or if it’s just more common on east coast KOA’s but the golf cart rentals and usage on property is out of control. If this is the direction of KOA properties I will no longer be a customer. Allowing kids to scream around the property with music blasting all hours of the day is not what I’m looking for when trying to get away.

We use Santee KOA several times a year. It's the go-to stop heading north from FL on I-95, and returning from wherever we went. The place has become a little run down since we started coming in 2023. One of the baths is being renovated (and is closed). Not a crisis for us b/c we have bath on board our RV. Several of the sites are no working (electrical); our favorite has been offline for months.

I arrived at 7:30 PM with three kids who I was planning to order pizza for and let them swim for an hour in the pool. I learned the pizza oven had been turned off already and the pool closed at 8 PM. This was a summer Saturday evening. I've been staying at this KOA for probably 25 years as a stopover point for travel between FL and VA. It's really starting to show its age, and the closing time

Well set cabin near the lake. Easy access from I95. Our only complaint was the master bedroom mattress should be replaced.

Nice convenient park right off interstate, clean lots and friendly staff. Waterfront views and a decent boat ramp. Restaurant next door is a good place for a family meal
