Our stay was perfect. Santee is halfway for us to our Florida destination so we stayed both going to Florida and when returning home. We were thrilled that there were sites available at the last minute. Thanks so much. We will stop in again. ...DM Roanoke, Virginia

Nice place, stayed a couple days. A little expensive and they need to clean out some of the old rigs and garbage piles in the back.

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. The only thing I would recommend is inspecting the pedestals. The outlet on ours was very poorly installed.

Surprised there was no cable available. Also was not able to pick up any air channels. Neighbor unit came into park at 2:30am and spent 45 minutes running vehicle and slamming doors until they finally decided to go to bed.

It was only one night, book the same day. Asked for a pull thru and as flat as possible and got it. Easy in and out like a couple of years ago when we did the same thing. Lake looks great and we would definitely stay for a couple of days if we had the time.

The only issue we had was that the WIFI keep telling us we were connected without internet. So we're not able to stream for TV and I didn't have service on my phone unless I was close to the lake.

5th time staying here as a "layover" between Maryland and Florida for an annual event. Always clean, professional and courteous staff. Highly recommend.

Have stayed at Santee KOA in the past and will continue to stay in further travels. Showers are a bit dated, but clean and nice bathrooms. Pizzas are a good thing too!

Location is terrific. The sites are spacious & shaded. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Children’s play area is impressive. Bathrooms could use an upgrade

The spot we were in could’ve been a little more level. The people are nice. The restaurant close by was very good with great staffing. We didn’t find a dog park which would’ve been a positive. The sunset from the river we were on was beautiful.

Everything and everybody was nice real professional, and real helpful. The only problem that I had is the Wi-Fi I run a business from my house, so when I’m up there camping, I’ll bring my stuff with me and the Wi-Fi signal was real weak and spotty. It kept kicking in and out.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Facility has been improved since first stay, but could still benefit from upgrades. They are getting there though!

We had a good stay. Park is clean and quiet. The lots mostly are amongst large pine trees. And if you get a chance you can come watch the sunset over the water.

What a delightful campground. The setting is beautiful and serene with big pine trees all around. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only drawback I saw is some of the sites aren’t level. I don’t have any self levelers so I’m more concerned. . I will definitely come back here.

The site was very level, which was perfect as our daughter has special needs. The lake access is great. We enjoyed our stay even though it was chilly and rainy, but that is expected in November :)

Can’t give the best most informative review because I got there late, tent camped and left very early. Did not have time to enjoy any of the amenities, but there were many tent sites, and they all seemed nice. Checking in was a breeze and everyone was pleasant. I do feel that $65 for a simple tent area is excessive but it is what it is.

It was an overnight only. Wish it could have been longer. The grounds are shaded and pretty. The waterfront with beach was a beautiful surprise!

We love this campground. Traveling back and forth from Florida to New York, it is our favorie go to place. Staff is friendly & courteous, grounds are very clean and the sunset view over the water is breathtaking. Our diamond in the rough!

Friendly staff, easy check in. Site was exactly as described, loved being close to the bathhouse. The grounds are beautiful and the lakefront and fishing dock is a fun place to hangout and watch the sunset. Nice KOA campground, we’ll definitely be back again!

Nice campsite. Roads and sites a little narrow but we had no problems in or out. Onsite pizza place makes great pizzas and delivers to you site. Easy and close access to I95

Nice park! Easy off i95 Friendly staff. Very shaded. Waterfront, beach and fishing. Local restaurant with great food on the waterfront. Only thing I’d recommend is keeping hot tub open!!

Catching up on helpful Google reviews from previous stays. I usually place reviews on Campendium for RV parks. ---------------- Stayed 7 nights Site #E-01 Stayed in end of Nov 2021. Catching up on reviews. Site type: Pull-through, FHU, 50 AMP, end of row Lovely campground setting and environment. Would stay again. I do not recall the specific cell service as it was a while back. It was at least sufficient for us to work on from our hotspots through VPNs, which require at least 3 bars. Hoping that helps. Location: Gas close by and groceries not too far. Grounds: Clean and nicely maintained! Office/Store: Good sized store. Some grocery items and a good amount of RV stuff. Site: We had an end site which is nice for our pups because you get some extra space. It also had beautiful views of the lakes and sunset.
