When I checked in I was greeted by a delightful staff and taken to our spot by a very nice and pleasant gentleman. Looks to be an older campground but a nice clean place on a beautiful lake. We will be back.

Looking forward to the renovations being completed. Nice area but do wish the office people were better at answering the phone and responding to calling you back when you leave a message.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Hookups were easy to access. With some maneuvering, I was able to park on a level area of the site. The sites in our area, although pull thru, are tight.

G9 the dump site was a bit up hill, hard to clean out. The pool was not quite ready yet. Really a nice site it was actually quiet no traffic noise. Lake front nice.

We absolutely love this campground. My family and I have stayed several times and will continue to come back. We actually already booked our reservations for Fourth of July. Employees are great bathrooms are well maintained beautiful property with lots of amenities couldn’t ask for a better lake getaway.

Short overnight stay but always a pleasure to stay. Bathhouse clean as was the property. Friendly staff, always helpful about local area. Third time here but we will stay again.

Two adults stayed five nights in a park model. This was our first time at this KOA and first time in a park model. Everything went smoothly. All employees of KOA were friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful and well kept.

I've stayed here 4 or 5 times. Each time it gets worse. Basically it is mostly permanent residents living here. Terrible management, run down, and just dirty. I depend on KOA to do spot inspections, but maybe it doesn't because it's been under construction for so long. I will definitely go to the new Palmetto RV resort next door from now on. It's cheaper, has gate security, restaurant and clean!

Large park far enough off the highway that road noise is not an issue. Situated on the north shore of Santee Lake, this park has many tall trees but little landscaping between the sites. Roads are gravel (and some old asphalt) and the sites are gravel and grass. The weather was dry when I camped here, so the gravel was firm underneath my 13 ton motor home. The sites were well separated and roomy.

There is a lot of work going on to make improvements. It is close to a beach to swim or fish. Pool needs some work: perhaps a deep clean and it would be more enticing. I loved the trees and shade. Bathrooms ok laundry room good

The campsite was slanted and sloped beyond the leveling capabilities of my trailer. Today was the 3rd time I tried to reach the general manager Michael for a refund, since they couldn’t offer me a site to fit my trailer the same day. If I don’t hear from him by tomorrow, I will file a claim with my credit card company and leave another juicy review on Google for this campground. Awful experie

Very nice place. Water pressure was very low. @the min. Got invaded by sugar ants. Need to spray for ants. I will stay again. Looks like some great renovations going on.

We have stayed twice - 1 time just over night we felt it was like what we had pictured camping should be like ! So the next time we came through the area we had to stop again it was again for 1 night but we love it there will stop again.

What a great place to go and unwind. Under major renovations and everything is looking amazing. Our favorite place without a doubt. Just sitting at the lake with a cocktail and watching the sunset.

We’ve stayed here several times on our travels. I fully understand they are under construction but things are really becoming unkept. We were squeezed into a site not long enough for our RV with a towed vehicle and couldn’t hook up to the sewer….although there were several other available spots. The dog park was awful. Gate was broke and wouldn’t latch, fence was coming up from the grou

Nice campround. Love all of the trees. I gave it a three due to the pool being green. Would have LOVED to get in the pool. It was extremely hot when we were there. When looking for a campround the pool is a must.

Hello. Normally I wouldn’t take the time to write a review but I was so unhappy with this visit I just had to. We drove hours to get away from town and decided to go to santee River to fish. It rained the whole time we were there which was half expected and would have been fine but there was absolutely no tv or internet/wifi the entire stay. We love the location! Unfortunately there was a lot of broken glass, cigarette butts, and trash at our tent site and it was hard to let our dog run around because of it. Also lots of sand at the tent site, not a lot of grass

For $85 a night we got an rv full of ants, the property is run down, and the pool is disgusting! We took our four grandkids and the pool was clear on the first day but the next two days it was terrible and smelled horrible like fish! The hot tub that doesn’t work is disgusting and attracts mosquitoes bad! The “playground “ is old and like the game room needs to be updated.

Just a quick stop over night while traveling … not really parks fault as a lot of rain in mid Atlantic previous days so very muddy…all though could have at least gravel pads…also sight I got was heavily sloped left to right for my rig (42’ class A) didn’t use any facilities but looked good! Overall served purpose of stop… would want that particular site for a weekend tho

Very disappointed with our stay. We booked a tent site expecting grass, but it was dirt and pine needles. We were placed between loud groups smoking cigarettes and weed and playing music past midnight, forcing us to pack up with our 1-year-old and leave. We also called the emergency number with no response. Would not recommend for tent campers or families with small children.

Sites are not level and too close together. Roads are gravel. Sites are grassy sand & gravel. Friendly & helpful staff. Pizza at the campground is pretty good and reasonably priced.

I would say for a quick overnight stay this campground is fine. For a relaxing extended stay we were a little disappointed. The sound of a boat being worked on 3 days of our stay just a couple sites down motor running for extended time is not relaxing. Beach area could use some work with a lot of potential to make a great beach for relaxing. Bath house could use some upgrades.

Well set cabin near the lake. Easy access from I95. Our only complaint was the master bedroom mattress should be replaced.

Nice convenient park right off interstate, clean lots and friendly staff. Waterfront views and a decent boat ramp. Restaurant next door is a good place for a family meal
