We've been coming here for several years and today 6-11-2025 we had reservation for a site, upon arrival a storm just went through the area. Our site was water and electric lowest part of campground. It was a flooded area and we asked the host showing us our site if we can go up to higher ground and I guess since the site had sewer he brought a receipe charge for the new site. We didn't need sewer

Lake access, swimming, fishing, and tall, shady pines, what's not to love? Nice, well-kept KOA, with just aslight deduct on the water pressure in the showers bot overall would highly recommend

Loved the location of our site overlooking the lake. If the weather would have been better we could have fished more. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

Just an overnight while traveling. Beautiful site on the lake! Would definitely stay here for an extended vacation.

Our stay at Koa is always pleasant! This week was so much better than before. They have new cabins with air screened in porch. With health conditions this was our best choice. We enjoyed the pool the lake .Volleyball � it was great!! We had a couple birthday parties here and I can't complain about anything except recommend KOA for your next vacation!

Very helpful and accommodating staff - we had two vehicles, each with tow item, and they found room for us! Also traveling with friends, so made sure we were right next to each other!

Very quiet with lots to do. The lake was nice and while I was only there for 1 night, there are plenty of things to keep you occupied for a few days. The only negative I have is the ants. Lots…of…ants. I couldn’t pitch a tent because they were literally everywhere.

The campsite was nice. The two women in the office were great. They made pizza and wings for us. Will definitely stay there again.

Peaceful . The lake is always a plus crystal care! Just be sure to make note to bring all linens for beds and pillows and covers. Also towels and washcloths . Amazed at the front desk staff making pizzas and wings both any choose of toppings and dips while Running the front desk reservations too! This was a first from all the koas!! The whole campsite and location is very convenient for our travels from FL to VA. The RV sites are very clean and level. The office staff and directors are very helpful getting us settled. A 10 out of 10 would be an appropriate rating. Thanks so much

The staff was great. Our camping spot was perfect... they had us a place close to bathhouse for our overnight stay. Clean grounds. Was GREAT!

K1 is very muddy and full of roots. The boat ramp is not monitored . People park their trucks there leave their trailers in the way. Fish from there. There is a block provided yet some inconsiderate people still only think of themselves ! Staff is super friendly. I hope next time we can get K2.

Park was nice right on Lake Marion. Staff was friendly, site was level, we had a pull thru site Only issue my wife had was the posted cleaning schedule was not adhered to. She would go to one restroom based on schedule and it would be closed for cleaning and then have to hike to the next closest one, this happened twice. Minor inconvenience. Otherwise was good place to stay, would stay there again

Certainly not up to the standards of a KOA. the restrooms/showers were filthy. I visited all three and I would not use any of them. My site was never cleaned from the last several renters. Bits of trash laying around, etc. I was placed next to two derelict, but lived in, 5th wheels which were really trashy. There were dozens of other campsites they could have put me in. Never stay again.

Every time I took my children to the lake, there were people smoking on the beach. There were always dogs off leash around the campground. One man at the pool pulled his shorts down to his knees exposing his entire buttocks and genital region and proceeded to urinate through the fence. We have been coming several times a year for 4 years and will not be back.

I was disappointed the lady at the checkout told me there were no end RV sites available for one night. I wanted to park so I could see the water at night and then again in the morning with my coffee. Well, I walked around at night and there were three available that faced the Water, which I would’ve enjoyed. When I woke up they were still empty. Disappointed I’m coming back to stay one night

We stayed here as an overnight layover on our way to Fla. Easy access from and to the highway. The campground had services as advertised with easily accessible sites and convenient fuel.

The worst stay we have had in all the years with KOA. We made reservations two weeks ahead and after driving six hours he messed up the reservation and someone was in our site . He put us in a mud hole that was way to short fir our rv and we hung out in the road and had to leave early because the next door camper couldn't get out. I asked if there was anything else and was told no but there was.

The staff at this KOA is wonderful ! Helped me back my trailer in . Delivered ice wood and pizza to our site . They also support local vendors to come in and sell icecream and boiled peanuts . The wildlife was present I enjoyed sharing space with the wildlife and watching it . Im ready to return for the 4th of July . Thank you for the memories .

As always we had a pleasant check in process. The campground itself was pleasant and on Lake Marion. Since KOA and other campgrounds have rules about trash & parking, we noticed other sites did not abide by those rules. Some had trash was out overnight and all over the ground and other campers had more than two vehicles and a boat on a trailer on their site making pulling out challenging.

Always a great at Santee Lake KOA. The campground was just about full for Memorial Day weekend but it was just as perfect as the last time.

Tent sites were really small, bathroom and showers by tent sites full of bugs because door wouldn't shut tight and lights left on. Hot tub not working, worker couldn't remember when it did. Took forever to get hot water in shower. Lake was nice.

The stay was great the host and all the employees were very helpful and friendly. The only thing that I can see needs improvement is the showers should have some type of chair or bench in them so you can set down to get dressed and put your clothes on.

Overall we had a great visit. The deluxe cabin was very cute. They could use more cleaning between checkins. The internet was out the entire we were there (4 days). The staff was nice. The location is nice.

Well set cabin near the lake. Easy access from I95. Our only complaint was the master bedroom mattress should be replaced.

Nice convenient park right off interstate, clean lots and friendly staff. Waterfront views and a decent boat ramp. Restaurant next door is a good place for a family meal
