The park is located very conveniently off of the highway and easy to access. The staff was friendly and accommodating, guiding us to our site and helping me get another sewer hose when mine needed an extension. The sites are well laid out and easy to access. The park also has access to a beautiful lake which you can use to swim in etc. The bathrooms need work, very dirty. Why I rated so low.

We stayed on Site G3 and had one issue with it. There are 2 large pine trees on either side of the campsite (front & back) and when we rolled our front canopy out, it was against the tree in the front. Also, there are a lot of large tree roots on the site; we used a large carpet in front of the door, but still had to be careful and not trip over the roots. Otherwise, we truly enjoyed our stay.

We love this campground, without a doubt our favorite place to visit. Bathrooms need more functioning soap dispensers and occasionally managing active ant hills would make it the perfect place! Please consider renting out kayaks!

No one emptied the two trash cans on the beach our entire stay for nine days. Need Trash can by boat landing it was trashed. I picked up the trash at the boat landing. Someone needs to pick up trash at beach and look at camp sites when people leave and at dock. Bathrooms could be cleaner. People that live there need to clean up their space an eye sore!Yellow chairs need put where people can enjoy.

The staff was fantastic. Location is great off of I95. We would like to return for just those two reasons. Unfortunately, the site we stayed on was in a damp and sandy soil area and we are now dealing with ants. We probably will not return.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff!! The camp ground was very clean. We rented a rustic tent space and the location had a great view and secluded. Rented during the week and was shown choices and was given the opportunity to choose which area I was interested in. Swimming area, beach area, and fishing dock were all so beautiful and upkeep was impressive. Staff had great suggestions for the area.

Have stay here (in transit NY to Florida) for over ten years... Staff is always friendly and accommodating... We were placed by bathroom as requested...Upper bathrooms had no ventilation ( ants noted in both bathrooms) and ever a brief visit there , we were covered in sweat... woke the next morning with ants EVERYWHERE in our camper...hoping it is better next time we visit

my wife and i stayed in Santee to visit family and we found a tiny gem in the KOA there. The campground is a little rustic, but that's part of its charm with all the live oaks with moss and the beautiful view of the lake we were hooked! the Staff was by far one of the most friendly and helpful of any of the KOA's we have stayed in the past. you won't go wrong staying here!

Very nice scenic camping area, the KOA has direct accesss to the lake, long reception hours, valuable meal service, not too noisy, and very friendly staff.

Although we only stayed one night, the campground was very close to I95, easy to get to and very clean and spacious. The staff was welcoming and the location on Lake Marion is spectacular. We did not have the opportunity to use any of the amenities, but they looked great too. We hope to return and spend some more time in the future.

Our stay was pleasant and somewhat peaceful. Big problem with ants getting into everything. Told park employee about our picnic table being broken and unusable. Was not corrected during our 3 day stay.

Michael, the manager was fantastic and so helpful. The entire staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The campground is well maintained & kept up and bathrooms are very clean. Highly recommend a pizza from the little restaurant! My only suggestion for KOA corporate is investing in more gravel for their sites. It rained while we were there and we had a sandy mess.

Beautiful view of Lake Marion from our site. Friendly staff. The only drawback is that the RV park continues to have ants and ant hills everywhere. REALLY need to take care of the ant situation, PLEASE!

We stopped here for a quick overnight...the sites here are not at all level..the site we were put on wouldn't work and we moved to a different one. For a quick stopover campground this isn't it

the maintenance leaves much to be desired. The bathrooms weren’t air conditioned as advertised. The hand dryer didn’t work in the middle bathroom as well. The sites were too sandy that created a mess in our camper everyday. The fire pits weren’t cleaned out either. I understand that SC has a lot of bugs this time of year consider hanging bat houses for a natural & efficient pest control.

Site was just ok bathroom was older and no ac. There was no fish clean station. Had a tough time leveling my camper looked run down. Put put was unplayable pool look dirty. The people were friendly but no knowledge about fishing.

All employees were very kind and helpful! Only complaint was the dog poop we found on our tent site that sadly ended up on my kids shoes while putting up our tent.

Staff is friendly and welcoming but the campground is well past its prime. Bathhouse, while mostly clean, is old and run down appearing and desperate for an upgrade. Ants repeatedly infested my RV. Never had that happen before anywhere. Grounds are not well maintained.

Loved the new cabins. They are lovely. Thoughts: beds are incredibly hard and plastic on them makes for a rough night. Optional Linen service would be nice. Would stay again.

Overall we had a great visit. The deluxe cabin was very cute. They could use more cleaning between checkins. The internet was out the entire we were there (4 days). The staff was nice. The location is nice.

Well set cabin near the lake. Easy access from I95. Our only complaint was the master bedroom mattress should be replaced.

Nice convenient park right off interstate, clean lots and friendly staff. Waterfront views and a decent boat ramp. Restaurant next door is a good place for a family meal
