We stay here overnight, every winter, on our way down to Florida. We always feel great when we pull in and park under the trees and look out across Lake Marion. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the campground is clean, and it's a quick walk around the fence to the local bar for a celebratory drink. The only, surprise we encountered was a lack of hot water in the bathroom.

My family and I have been going to this campground since 2011, before it became Koa,still enjoy staying here.. staff and employees have always made us feel welcome!

I love this campground: the grounds are beautiful. The cabins are fabulous. I would give a 4.5/5. Unfortunately, there were cat hairs, dog hairs and dust, on the floor, despite the $70 cleaning fee for each pet. (I did not have a pet).

Was off season and slightly empty when I stopped in. It was peaceful and clean. The bathrooms are a tad dated but were very clean. My interactions with the staff were also great. It was a very nice but no frills campground. Would def stop in again.

Love the lake view. The bath house and laundry were convenient to our location and it was spic and span! Check in was great and staff friendly and accommodating!

Mixed feelings about this KOA park. Though the staff was very friendly and helpful and the view of the Marion Lake is beautiful, this park needs a lot of maintenance attention. Many pot holes in the road, there's building debris spread over an area that should be removed and some of the basic fixtures in the park need repaired. It's a good place for a quick stop over off of I-95.

Very helpful staff. We had to change our reservation due to a heavy snowstorm coming. They were very accommodating, sent a welcome message about our upcoming stay. We try to stay here every year on our way to and from Florida so easy from 95.

One very easy night while traveling south. Very nice place right on the lake with lots to do for an extended stay. I’d definitely stop here again.

The people there were extremely friendly and very awful.we would stay there again and highly recommend it. We had their pizza and wings for dinner. They were delicious. As a new Yorker and a pizza Snob, I thought that their pizza was just one of the best that i've ever had. The wings were delicious too

Electric pole wasn’t working on our site, had to use site next to us. Thankfully it was empty. We use Santee every year for our overnight stay on the way to Florida.

We always love to stay there at Santee KOA when we are traveling through the area. We used to live in Eutawville so we know the area really well and we have family and friends close by. We think it's location on the lake is really nice. We love the place alot and we only have one issue. We wish that they had paved sites. It had rained the day before we came and the site was muddy. We still love it

Only one night car camping. Site was unlevel and difficult for sleeping. There was no warm or hot water in the showers, bathhouse had a moldy smell in the morning

Nice stop over location on our way home from Florida. We didn’t spend much time there, but the ladies in the office were friendly and recommended a good close by restaurant for dinner. A staff member escorted us to our site. Dog park was in a convenient spot and easier to get to than dog parks at many other KOAs we’ve stayed at. We got $50 off of our night’s stay by using our value points!

Always a great place to stop on the way to the coast! Great views of the lake & beautiful sunsets. Can't forget our go to dinners there, Hunt Brothers pizza & wings!

It’s is a stop for us heading South . Nice to see beach area cleaned up and now have small cabin type places for people who don’t have campers or RV

This is a classic treed campground located on a beautiful lake. Grounds and facilities, including a sandy beach are are well laid out and in good condition. No cable but wifi is adequate for streaming. Staff to a person are personable, professional and welcoming. We stay here on our way to and from Florida and it has become more than just a stop over. We now look forward to getting to Santee.

This is nice KoA. The. Lake is beautiful and the Koa has a beach, boat ramp and playground for extra fun. It is close to I-95 but this was a relaxing quiet stay. We are heading back on our return trip. They made a yummy pizza that we ordered for the trip south .

Typical KOA stay. Uneven campsite on dirt. Did not use facilities. Lovely lake aside from highway traffic.

Great stay oveerall. Personnel in golf cart guided us to our campsite and later brought firewood charged to our account. First night ordered pizza cooked in the office which was so convenient while getting set up. Short walk to campground sandy beach on Lake Santee where we watched herons fish for food. We were there January 1st week and pausing internet was frustrating streaming bowl games.

I loved everything about the cottage is was nice and cozy it wasn't along drive to get to it. Also loved the amenities. I will be staying there again in the future.

Overall we had a great visit. The deluxe cabin was very cute. They could use more cleaning between checkins. The internet was out the entire we were there (4 days). The staff was nice. The location is nice.

Well set cabin near the lake. Easy access from I95. Our only complaint was the master bedroom mattress should be replaced.

Nice convenient park right off interstate, clean lots and friendly staff. Waterfront views and a decent boat ramp. Restaurant next door is a good place for a family meal
