We are honored to share that we have been named 2026 KOA Campground of the Year and icon Award.
This recognition means more to us than we can easily put into words.
For more than 50 years, two generations of our family have poured their hearts, souls, and an incredible amount of love into shaping the Petaluma KOA. What began as a dream and a lot of hard work has grown into a place filled with memories, traditions, and a strong sense of community. As the third generation, we are honored to continue that legacy and add our own chapter to a story that started long before us.
The campground has never been just a business. It’s where we grew up, where we learned, and where our best memories were made. This place truly raised us, and honestly, there isn’t a big life moment that didn’t somehow connect back to the campground.
Over the years, we’ve watched the campground become something special for our guests as well. It’s a place where families return year after year, where kids make best friends in a weekend, and where familiar faces gather around the campfire season after season. Those experiences are what give the park its heart.
This award belongs to so many people. To our guests who continue to choose us for their vacations, traditions, and time together thank you. You are not just visitors here. You are part of our KOA family. Your support, your memories, and the joy you bring to the park are what inspire us every single day.
To our incredible team, past and present, thank you for caring so deeply and showing up no matter what. Your dedication and pride in what you do are felt throughout the campground, and they are a huge part of why the Petaluma KOA Resort has such a meaningful feel.
