I would give 3.5 stars but that is not an option. The campground is under new management and there are signs that they are moving in the right direction. The pool and sauna area are very clean and well kept which is a plus. The washrooms/showers are fine but need some TLC/updating. The site was spacious and level. There is no shade in the camping area. They need new tables, they are all broken.

Great place and very friendly host. Every thing was clean and in good condition. Great pool area and hot tub, such a bonus! Loved the cactus garden.

Lovely quiet park close to I-10. We stayed for 1 night on our way to California. Site was large enough to accommodate my motorhome and toad without having to disconnect. Staff was kind and helpful.

It was a nice little Park David the manager is a great guy he keeps things up and going I understand that somebody just bought this place he does have a lot of work to get done he'll get it done though type of guy he is bathrooms clean showers good and clean pool area is good and clean and his workers they did a great job but you give him time he's going to get it cleaned up thanks David I'll b

I enjoyed my month long stay. Everything worked well. The camp was clean as was the rest rooms. David was extremely helpful and was always out working on the landscaping or whatever needed attention. He always answered the voicemail in a very short time. If l come back to Salome this will be where I stay

It was clean, neat and the residents seemed friendly. I only stayed one night and was in and out. My only complaint is that it looked pretty run down (e.g., my picnic table had large holes in it). It didn’t seem up to KOA standards.

It was a very nice stay. Laundry room and showers were very clean. Well maintained community room. The best part was the welcoming and helpful host, David. Also the other campers were very friendly.

I ride my atv on the trails and do not have to load up. Just ride out of the KOA, I am also a gold miner and the claim is not very far from the KOA easy ride.

The manager has NO customer service skills. He can be charming one moment and nasty the next. Witnessed some truly bad behavior although he was polite to us. Little maintenance is being done. The weeds are getting truly spectacular. Bathrooms are dated, but they finally hired someone so they are now clean. Picnic tables are all falling apart. Laundry is by app only. Pool/spa is okay. Nice clean and quiet place to stay. Pool was great. Ride our dirt bikes right out of camp onto massive trail system. Bring about 30ft of drain line you may need it we did.

Staff was very helpful and available if needed. Very pleasant as was the rest of the campers. Everything was always clean and neat. Highly recommend !

I was there from January 1 to April 1 and I really enjoyed it. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. The facilities were clean and well maintain.

The campground is unkempt: weeds abound. Bathroom facilities are clean, but not well stocked. The game room floor is filthy. The clubhouse has aged chairs and tables. The floor is rarely swept. The manager, David, is not welcoming, as the office is not open. There are multiple excuses for this. Also,David has had negative interactions with campers and staff.Presently, there is no WiFi service.

1st year out of 4 that we stayed there and it was not clean, weeds everywhere, bathrooms dirty. Manager very unprofessional, swore at campers. Picnic tables were broken or there wasn't any.

No WiFi, no mail service, weeds, no open office, dirty restrooms/laundry/clubhouse, mgr that yells/cusses at employees and guests. All boondocks can use amenities which overloads the laundry/pool/dumpsters. Pool heater not working. Overall campground deteriorating.

Never saw or spoke with the manager. All we got was our paperwork in a box on the outside of the office. The store was never open if we needed anything, good thing there was a store next to the park. The pool was dirty for two of the three days we were there. Garbage was left by the pool the whole time we were there and never cleaned. Weeds throughout the park that need to be cleaned up.

Management was totally unprofessional, belligerent, irresponsible, and arrogant. Unfortunately the new owner has not figured this out or has and does not care. Not KOA material by any means. Sad and sorry.

Facilities very clean. A bit far from I10 for our one night stay, but overall a nice quiet place to stay. Ben was great, very helpful and really cool. If you are in to off- road adventures this KOA would be an excellent choice.

I was in space 132 the electricity was extremely low may have ruined one of my air conditioners.Had to run refrigerator and water heater on propane. The space was used as a driveway by people coming and going from the park.,there’s no barrier designating the space so it’s used as a driveway. I’ve stayed at this park for the last 6 or 7 years and never had a complaint until I moved to the mor

Your Manager Dave and his staff (Ben) did everything in their power to make our stay a very enjoyable. Dave was always available to answer questions or get us anything we needed that was within his ability to help. He is a great addition to Salome KOA and we‘realready looking forward our trip next year and interacting with him again. Dave is friendly, polite, and very knowledgeable. Thanks Dave!

This would have had a better rating, but we did not see any employees while we were there. We arrived after the office closed and the paperwork was on the outside wall by the door. This was fine, but we wanted to get a few things for the motorhome and the check in office was never open. Tried several times to see if anyone was there and stopped trying after about the 6th attempt. Otherwise good.

When it's time to pay the office is NEVER open...They just run your credit card to get payed. If your card won't work they run an old card. A notice would be nice (before the card is used). A paper recite....you can forget about that. They used to have free internet. It worked sometimes. Now they don't even try to offer wifi. That saves them money. But rates go up every year.

Need get app for laundry fix. Spent 20 minutes getting infro put on. Then loaded my clothes in machine. App did not work. Went to laundromat in Salome instead. Donated 10.00 to CSC I will never get back

The trails are awesome and the new Manager David is the absolute best!!! He is so helpful and tries to ensure every camper is a “happy camper” and the upgrades from the owner is amazing so kudos to all at the SALOME KOA it may me small but has a might personality!

Very comfortable relaxing stay and cool location with many trails. The pool, bathrooms and laundry areas are always clean, cleanest pool and hot tub ever seen with always perfect temperatures. David and his crew are extremely pleasant, always on site, and available to help with anything at anytime.

We stayed for two nights in our tent on our way to California. Check in was very friendly and we felt very welcomed. Site was clean but not a lot of shade. There is a great pool and hot tub to relax with umbrellas. We also enjoyed the common area and the gaming room. Bathrooms were totally fine and there is a small market were you can walk to with a some hot options to eat as well.

This is a KOA RV Campground David the manager is a great guy and he has a great team working with him the bathrooms and the shower houses are very clean the swimming pool area is nice and clean they go out of their way helping you if you are down this way make sure you camping stop in here they will do everything in their powers to help you out they are great I really hate i have to leave tomorrow but my wife and I have to hit the road we have to get back to Ohio to our family but you bet I'll be back thanks David 😊
