4th year in Salome were shocked to find new mgmt had changed our usual site to one w/o working electric. We parked in our requested site and within minutes David, the new manager, was screaming that we must be "f.......ing democrats". The only id on our camper is a retired USMC plate. He continued a stream of F-bombs until my husband heard him and told him to watch his mouth.

Arriving late (8pm),and not receiving a text or call from them, we were greeted by a dark porch at the office, making it hard to find our packet in the Box. After doing so, the park was so dark it was hard to find our spot. No Wifi, Showers. We did sleep peacefully and left the next morning. Had to eat breakfast indoors because the table outside had large holes in it.

This was the worst KOA we have ever stayed at. There was no staff to speak to. The Office/store was closed with a sign saying they were almost never open, but they were around "somewhere on site". There were only 2 toilets (non-gender specific) for the entire campground and each one had a miniscule shower. If someone was in the shower, the toilet was unavailable.

If you like being packed in like a sardine, then this place is for you. Reserved a back in along fence line, got put in a total different spot. On the rules they ask that you keep your site clean and free of clutter, some of the residents didn't get the meno. Sorry to stay, I will not return to this campground, I was only a one nighter, so no skin off their backs. I do not recommend this KOA

We love the size of the larger pull thru sites. The pool and jacuzzi are wonderful. The laundry facilities are nice. We especially want to thank David (the manager) for his excellent customer service. He was always available to talk to when we needed assistance with something. He is very personable and approachable. We cant wait to go back next year!!!

Had a great stay. We were there with a group of friends 6 different camp sites. They managed to get us all together in the same area. It worked out great. Will be back again. We had one minor issue and it was fixed quickly. I called the office he said give me a minute I turned around and there was a guy already there checking it out. Great people!!

There was nobody in the office. Arrival day we came at 2:00pm nobody was there the office was closed. Stopped by the next day and still the office was closed.

Very, Very nice campground, Dave, the host was exceptionally nice and helpful. Such a beautiful setting, there is a market one block down great food !!! wonderful people. Salome has a great thrift store, Dollar General, Family Dollar. Hope to come back next year.

The KOA was fine nice pool hot tub friendly people but Salome has nothing to offer not even a decent meal

Thus was not a KOA experience. The entire campground was being managed by one person. Although, he was very friendly he was unable to keep the trash bins empty, the bathrooms and showers weren't clean. We had a totally broken picnic table on our site that just took up space.I recommend someone from KOA check this place out. The KOA association is why we booked this site,.

Nice and quiet campground for the most part. Some generators running after quite hour but not to long. We came out for the RV show and the site was just the right distance away from all of that activity. Picnic tables need som replacements but overall nice experience. Staff was very friendly. Also, felt safe.

We stayed in Salome KoA for a couple weeks and it was really nice. Mostly quiet. Very clean. The pool and hot tub were working and perfect. The showers were clean and hot. The management was always working but still there if we needed anything. The one downside is just its location; there’s not much happening or shopping close by. Overall, great KoA

I was charged 45 dollars for not being able to find the trash bin. I looked very hard for a trash can in our area. I went to the office and no one was there. Finally, someone pointed to an area which I couldn't understand. I ended up leaving it at my post spot. I contacted the manager David and he was very rude to me. He stated that he doesn't like Californians. Beware of going to this KOA.

It is my go to stop when passing through the area. I love the large spaces pull through sites. There are no obstructions and mostly level. The check-in procedure is very straightforward and easy. The common areas are clean and have all of the basic necessities. This park even has a small K9 dog park.

The site was good. Thanks for leaving an empty site between us and long term camper. The one thing that is confusing to us is why the dumpster is at the entrance instead of the exit. It would be very convenient if we could drop our garbage on our way out.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Laundry and bathroom facilities were clean and well- maintained, sites were flat with water, electrify and sewer access, and there was allot of open desert space behind the camp to walk dogs.

Very comfortable relaxing stay and cool location with many trails. The pool, bathrooms and laundry areas are always clean, cleanest pool and hot tub ever seen with always perfect temperatures. David and his crew are extremely pleasant, always on site, and available to help with anything at anytime.

We stayed for two nights in our tent on our way to California. Check in was very friendly and we felt very welcomed. Site was clean but not a lot of shade. There is a great pool and hot tub to relax with umbrellas. We also enjoyed the common area and the gaming room. Bathrooms were totally fine and there is a small market were you can walk to with a some hot options to eat as well.

This is a KOA RV Campground David the manager is a great guy and he has a great team working with him the bathrooms and the shower houses are very clean the swimming pool area is nice and clean they go out of their way helping you if you are down this way make sure you camping stop in here they will do everything in their powers to help you out they are great I really hate i have to leave tomorrow but my wife and I have to hit the road we have to get back to Ohio to our family but you bet I'll be back thanks David 😊
