Drive 45-minutes east and you'll find the beautiful seaside town of Ogunquit. There are three beaches to choose from, so whether you want to have access to restaurants, bathrooms and rentals like you do at the Main Beach or you're looking for something off the beaten path, like Footbridge Beach or Wells Beach, you'll find it.
Short Sands Beach
This beautiful beach is nestled in the picturesque town of York, roughly 50 minutes from Lebanon. You'll feel like you've been transported to the English seaside when you see this stretch of sandy beach, bookended by rocky cliffs. Parking and entertainment are just steps from the beach.
This beach would be easy to miss if you weren't looking for it. It's tucked away behind a pretty row of cottages with a set of stairs that lead down to the shore. This secluded spot has beautiful views of the coast and is definitely worth a visit.
Ferry Beach State Park

There are seven miles of beach in this fun, seaside town. You can stretch out on the wide sandy beach for a little sunbathing, play games or take a dip. There's even a pier with places to shop, eat and drink.
