The Sallisaw KOA is a great campground with lots to do (games, trails, relaxing) and has beautiful scenery. The cabin we stayed in was very cozy and had many nice touches. Thanks!

First time staying at ANY KOA. I have to say, my mental image has been changed forever! What a great experience! Excellent staff! Excellent condition of the accommodations! Excellent amenities, excellence all around. I’m done with having to deal with stuffy hotels and slamming doors and snooty staff! I’m a KOA guy now! I’m truly stunned! Who knew?

Our cabin was in need of updating and cosmetic repairs. The floor sloped also. Air conditioner in bedroom practically falling out window. The neighbors/plumbing contractors did work on the outside of our cabin with loud power tools without asking/telling us first. Rude and loud into the evening. Smell of Marijuana coming from their patio. We were comfortable enough, but it bugged us.

Cabin was clean and well stocked. Parking was ample for an oversized truck hauling bikes on a rack. Stayed here twice now and will be back in our RV to stay on one of your beautiful new concrete pad sites with grass areas for our pup.

I loved the grounds they were very well kept ! I liked the deluxe cabin #2 it was great and accomidating I think the loft area needs it's own tv also I bought 3 so called bundles of wood !???? You delivered it to cabin and you delivered sticks lmao rotten soft wood sticks in the bundles smh I got about 6 pieces of decent wood and the rest were sticks like legit sticks with 24$ worth of sticks

Thank you for staying with us! We deeply apologize. Our wood is seasoned and we do have some small pieces but we double up and consider it one piece. We will do better in the future to make sure you receive a full bundle.

I think the owner is an awesome person he is polite speaks with his guest and tries to make sure you’re happy. Things I wish were better are later check out because you can’t check in until 4 o clock and then check out by 11am the next morning I feel like noon or 1pm, most people sleep in on off days u should at least get close to 24 hr stay for the price. Other then that My family enjoyed!

The staff at this KOA are very nice. We observed improvements at this site with a fresh coat of paint. The folks who own this site care for their KOA facilty. We stayed in the camping kabin as usual. All facilities are well maintained and clean, and another plus...the feeling of a safe and secure location for the elderly as myself and wife.

We got in late( cross country trip). Our cabin key was ready in the night box. ��� The cabin was very clean with clean linens. Clean showers yay! We will definitely stay here again. Thank you

This is the first time we have stayed in their Deluxe Cabin. We had an excellent stay. It had all the amenities we needed and the beds are comfortable. The only thing I recommend is providing the same number of towels as people that are staying for showers. Highly recommend staying here!

This KOA feels like home. This is our first stop on our way Arizona , and our last stop on our way home to Tennessee. Great very facility! The feeling being safe and secure. Thank you for such a nice KOA!!

We frequently stay in one of the deluxe camping cabins on our trips to the area so we can bring our dog with us. Has always been a great experience.

RV was great. However, we arrived about 25 minutes before closing and counter person was out and about and more interested in finishing up and leaving than taking care of us. We had to recontact her to get the key but she was still too busy to show us how to turn on the interior lights, etc. it was also quite dark so some form of outside light is needed.

The best KOA cabin we have stayed in. We have been at 6 different KOA cabins this month while traveling and this cabin had everything. The bed was very comfortable. It had a special area for our dog to sleep in. Staff was great.

I was greeted by a friendly and very helpful young lady. I stayed in the fifth-wheel camper, which was extremely roomy, clean, and well-stocked. After an enjoyable dinner on the patio, I watched a movie in the TV room. I enjoyed a quiet, peaceful evening and would visit here again if I pass through.

Super friendly staff, clean grounds. We stayed in a deluxe cabin, but have stayed here in our camper. Great activities for the kiddos, very relaxed. This is a regular stop for our cross country trips.

Very nice campground. We stayed in a camping cabin that was situated around a little pond. Friendly ducks wandered through and were fun to watch. Bathrooms were a short walk, clean, and easy to access. Great recreation activities. Easy to find.

Great spot and decent value. Staff was friendly... booking, check in and check out was easy as pie. We stayed in camping cabin # 2. Full bed and bunks. Clean sheets, pillows and a blanket provided. We brought our own extra blankets and we did use them. Cabin heater worked well to keep the room very comfortable. Small tv worked though we ended up using our hot spot on our phone as it was faster than the provided wifi. You do have a bit of a walk to the bathrooms, no bathroom in our cabin. Bathrooms were clean, shower was hot and worked very well for us. Would choose this 10 times out of 10 over a Hotel. Would return anytime we were in Sallisaw.

We only stayed one night due to the fact that we were traveling in a RV. The site is level and far enough apart and the entire campground is wooded, making it feel very private. It has a very nice little dog park. This is close enough off the 40 to make it convenient and everything was quite nice. It would definitely be another stay if we come back this way.
