This was a great place to stay! Good for walking & nice doggy park areas too! We liked the new area we were in. I also really enjoyed visiting with the employees who really were friendly & it was fun shopping for thongs too. Hope to again when we travel that direction! Very pretty!

We have been here since 05, our first year. We use to love the "kitchen" when we arrived twice each year, May and return in Sep. Always look forward to our stay in Sallisaw. Tks Amber.

Would be a 5 but needs another dog park as the one now is small and is muddy after the rain they had. Also might want to think about putting some kind of sound barrier like trees to block highway noises more. Love the breakfast service! Was very good!

Very nice owners that have poured a lot of money back into the property. The new section is very nice, level and spacious. They have also made a lot of improvements to the original sites.

First time staying at ANY KOA. I have to say, my mental image has been changed forever! What a great experience! Excellent staff! Excellent condition of the accommodations! Excellent amenities, excellence all around. I’m done with having to deal with stuffy hotels and slamming doors and snooty staff! I’m a KOA guy now! I’m truly stunned! Who knew?

We only stayed one night on our way from East Texas to Branson, Mo. Despite the horrible weather the day before the park was clean and welcoming. The guy who checked me in was very friendly and helpful.

The Sallisaw, Oklahoma KOA was a one night stay on our journey. The office staff was friendly and helpful. The site was well marked, level, and provided shade. The campground was very clean. My wife used the laundromat and said the price was reasonable. Access to the campground is a plus. It’s not far from I-40 and there are several restaurants and fuel stations nearby. The park is very nice. One of the nicest Rv parks we’ve ever stayed in. The sites are good size and close to level. We will stay here any time we are coming through. It’s very well maintained.

This is one of the best KOA'S we have stayed in. Our lot was in the newer section. We elected to have a site with a concrete pad. Pad was level and lot was a nice size. I used the laundry facilities multiple times and it was clean as were the bathrooms in that building. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again! Appreciate you!

Probably one of the friendliest and best KOA campgrounds we have stayed at. Grounds were flooded in certain areas and we were moved to a drier site for our convenience. Very thankful!

Site good, needed 1.5 inch to level on one side. Good electric and wi-fi, didn't hook up to water or sewer(1 night stay). Shower and laundry was clean and spacious. Bath could use a little attention (exhaust fan not working in one bath and shower drain plugged in other - used the shower after office closed otherwise would have mentioned it to them). Turn onto camp road from 59 is tight.

Our cabin was in need of updating and cosmetic repairs. The floor sloped also. Air conditioner in bedroom practically falling out window. The neighbors/plumbing contractors did work on the outside of our cabin with loud power tools without asking/telling us first. Rude and loud into the evening. Smell of Marijuana coming from their patio. We were comfortable enough, but it bugged us.

Excellent, professional staff. The assistant manager was extremely helpful. Bathrooms and showers were modern, clean, and in very good condition.

Very nice campground. We stayed in a camping cabin that was situated around a little pond. Friendly ducks wandered through and were fun to watch. Bathrooms were a short walk, clean, and easy to access. Great recreation activities. Easy to find.

Great spot and decent value. Staff was friendly... booking, check in and check out was easy as pie. We stayed in camping cabin # 2. Full bed and bunks. Clean sheets, pillows and a blanket provided. We brought our own extra blankets and we did use them. Cabin heater worked well to keep the room very comfortable. Small tv worked though we ended up using our hot spot on our phone as it was faster than the provided wifi. You do have a bit of a walk to the bathrooms, no bathroom in our cabin. Bathrooms were clean, shower was hot and worked very well for us. Would choose this 10 times out of 10 over a Hotel. Would return anytime we were in Sallisaw.

We only stayed one night due to the fact that we were traveling in a RV. The site is level and far enough apart and the entire campground is wooded, making it feel very private. It has a very nice little dog park. This is close enough off the 40 to make it convenient and everything was quite nice. It would definitely be another stay if we come back this way.
