It’s close to I 40 and was easy to pull in for a night’s rest. The sites are level and most are well shaded. The bathrooms are clean and up to date. The sign at the road is very small compared to most KOAs so be observant.

One if the best equipped, well maintained KOA facilities I’ve stayed at. Only complaint was the dog park. It was very difficult to get to tucked behind cabins in the trees , but the ground was unleavened and it was a flooded swamp you couldn’t access. After a long day in an RV a pup need a clean nice place to run free. Although most KOA dog parks are muddy or full of goat heads.

Thank you for staying with us! Unfortunately with all the rain and flood warnings we had been receiving, it turned our ground very vet. Now the sun is out and shining, we should not have any water issues. There is a land bridge marked on your map to access the park as well. Thanks again!

This is a very nice campground, but the recent heavy rains turned it into a mud pit. While KOA can’t control the weather, they could add a lot more gravel to the areas that are muddy, especially around the hookups.

Unfortunately with the amount of rain we have been receiving and the flood warnings, it has put a bind in our ground work. But we are definitely working on it as the weather should be getting warm and dry. Thank you for staying with us!

We have stayed several times. Like that it's close to the casino and walmart. Like all the improvements to the campgrounds. A little hard walking in the rocks for those of us with knee and feet issues. Dog park can get a little mushy when it rains. But overall we will come again.

Overall had zero problems the only exception some sites that have extra amenities needed some improvement with weeds & mulch being flooded out otherwise very nice

Friendly staff and knowledgeable and helpful as well. Disappointed that the pool was not up and running but understand there were some issues with it.

Hosts were nice. Bathhouse was very clean with spacious showers. Good grassy places to walk our dog. Good location.

This was a one-night stay (used this spot going and coming). Nice facilities. We were VERY pleased to discover there were on-site tornado shelters as we were awakened at 7 AM by phone alerts of a tornado warning (coming right at Sallisaw). Fortunately, there was no damage - just a tree limb fell in the slot next to ours.

The best part about this KOA was the extremely friendly and very helpful staff. Thank you! Also, the grounds were very pretty and the bathrooms were spotlessly clean.

It was just an over night stay. I picked this one due to the location. There had been a lot of rain so our site and many others were pretty wet. It rained again over night and to get to the bath house you had to cross a stream of water that was so wide you had to walk through it. Other than that, the campground was pretty clean with lot of trees.

Stayed here 6 years ago and boy has it changed for the better. The park really presented itself as a destination you would enjoy taking your kids or grandkids to. The Wifi was the best reception that we have seen on this trip. Park was clean and quiet, what more could you ask for? Staff were sooo friendly and helpful. Thank you Sallisaw

Such an unexpected, pleasant surprise. We decided to experience the campground life again after selling our large motorhome. We never anticipated the cute little amenities. More fun than a hotel room sans a bathroom. Thank you!

What a beautiful park with a wonderful staff as well. This park is pristine. Wifi is very fast 5G/2G. The restrooms are clean and updated. Great pool and plenty of games for adults and kids. The store has all the essentials and is well stocked. A true oasis, You will not be disappointed.

One night in 40 ft 5th wheel. Level cement pad, but was too narrow for entry and exit. Had to drive on grass. Check in easy and clerk very nice.

Spotless bathroom and shower. Easy to park and return to your travels. Only negative, shower h Was not completely handicap accessible. Lip on doorway needed a riser to access.

Loved it, except the first night we had reserved a concrete pad site. She assigned us our site and when we got there, it was occupied. Called the office, and they reassigned us to a patio spot, which was okay, but they then charged us $10 more dollars. I don’t think we should have been charged the extra when we only reserved a concrete one.

The employees were very friendly and helpful and the ammenities were excellent. We stayed in the small cabins and everything was enjoyable. The mattress on the full size bed was not very comfortable as we could feel the wood underneath through the mattress.

Very nice campground. We stayed in a camping cabin that was situated around a little pond. Friendly ducks wandered through and were fun to watch. Bathrooms were a short walk, clean, and easy to access. Great recreation activities. Easy to find.

Great spot and decent value. Staff was friendly... booking, check in and check out was easy as pie. We stayed in camping cabin # 2. Full bed and bunks. Clean sheets, pillows and a blanket provided. We brought our own extra blankets and we did use them. Cabin heater worked well to keep the room very comfortable. Small tv worked though we ended up using our hot spot on our phone as it was faster than the provided wifi. You do have a bit of a walk to the bathrooms, no bathroom in our cabin. Bathrooms were clean, shower was hot and worked very well for us. Would choose this 10 times out of 10 over a Hotel. Would return anytime we were in Sallisaw.

We only stayed one night due to the fact that we were traveling in a RV. The site is level and far enough apart and the entire campground is wooded, making it feel very private. It has a very nice little dog park. This is close enough off the 40 to make it convenient and everything was quite nice. It would definitely be another stay if we come back this way.
