The overall stay was ok. Anyone with pets, I wouldn’t recommend. We were there 3 weeks with our dogs staying in a pen outside per permission from office. Someone walked by our spot and one of our dogs barked at them and they got offended and I got a call from office telling me I had to put my dogs in our camper. I went and talked to the manager about this and they got an attitude with me. Insane

Thanks for your feedback! We do not allow pets to be left unattended at a site, so when the issue was brought to our attention, we addressed it immediately. I hope after we discussed why we don't allow this, you were able to understand. We just want everyone & pets to be safe.

Absolutely gorgeous campground! The cabin had a beautiful view of the lake. Grounds were well maintained. The staff were nice and welcoming. We will definitely be back!!

It was a very nice park. We would stay there again.. KOA signage was a little small, maybe put on the instructions to turn where the dealership is. We went past it and had to turn around.

We arrived late in the day to find a very friendly and welcoming face. Campground was spotless and well laid out. Restrooms and showers were the best we have seen. We highly recommend this KOA.

Very nice! People friendly, place clean. Didn’t have Grand kids but saw plenty for them to enjoy. Will come back with them another time. Only suggestion it’s time to replace your wooden picnic tables with metal ones. Pool was great!

Everyone is so friendly and professional. The sites are nicely spaced. A few tree limbs need to be trimmed bc they can be avoided when parking a large RV towing but all in all we love this KOA for a restful spot while traveling. We will definitely stay again!! Oh, lots of great walking for stretching dog’s legs; very pet friendly!

I stayed there twice in the last month, on my way west I stayed there and was charged half the price that I was charged two weeks later traveling east, the campsites are wonderful and facilities were clean , I will continue to stay there on my trips out west and home

Thank you so much for staying with us! The reason the price was so different is because the first stay was booked for a basic water and electric site, the next stay was full hookups. During your first stay, we gave you a free upgrade because of the size of your rig. We hope this helps!

The site was level. We were told that we were assigned a specific site but it had equipment in it. Fortunately, we had requested to be taken to our site and she was able to identify another site.

We were going to stay in the Walmart parking lot but we both had an icky feeling. It was after hours at the KOA and we were still able to get ahold of someone at the campground and they let us fill out our paperwork and spend the night. They even called the next day to make sure that everything was up to our expectations.

Nice location, right off I-40 but you don’t hear the traffic noise. Very nice staff, and they stay open longer than some Koa. Very happy with the cabin!

Loved our stay. Cabin was clean and well stocked, campground was well shaded, clean and full of activities. This was our final stop on our trip and it was by far the best experience we had at any KOA on our journey. Thank you to all who manage and maintain this campground they do incredible work. We will be recommending the KOA often.

Wonderful clean campground with very pleasant and helpful staff. This campground had to be designed by someone who had camped, and my still. It has great facilities for all types of campers! Five stars for sure!

Our second stay at Sallisaw and not disappointed with making it our stop over for traveling. Clean restrooms; property landscaped and nice peaceful campsites. We stayed in the original section near the office and pool. Lots of trees and shade. Great place!! Thank you!!

Everything was perfect! Staff was friendly and very helpful. Our cabin was adorable, comfortable, and clean. Our kids loved the extras- the pool, water balloons, train ride, Gaga ball, playground, etc. we didn't even have time for all the activities because there was so much to do! The kids begged to stay longer. Next time, we will!

Great facility. Love the consistency of KOA which is why I keep going back. Never been at this one before but stayed in their locations with a patio and dog run. Made the stay super easy and nice.

The cabin I rented for the evening was nice and clean, their facility as a whole was pretty cool. Lots of activities right there at the campground. I only stayed for the night, but I wished I had more time to enjoy the campground.

We stopped on our trip to Arizona for 2 nights. The campground is clean with FHU sights and a nice laundry room which we needed badly. We even had a neighbor show up with her horse for the rodeo that is in town this weekend.

The young lady that checked us in was very friendly and accommodating. She helped me find a shady site to help take the edge off the 100 deg heat. The facilities were clean and well maintained. We don’t usually use the pool but given the heat we gave it a try and it was a bit tepid. No complaints about this place. It’s easy to get too and we would definitely stay here again when passing thr

The cabin, with bed linens provided, was managed by air-conditioning. The views, both front and back were most appealing. I had one concern. The walk to the bathroom at night, which I took advantage of multiple times was not safe. The large gravel on the road was preferred to a wet yard of grass but required donning my athletic shoes for every trip. A small sidewalk or path might help.

Our stay at Sallisaw/Fort Smith West KOA was fantastic! The welcoming staff made check-in a breeze. The well-maintained campground boasts spacious sites and a secure dog pen, perfect for our fur babies to play. Clean restrooms and great amenities added to the experience. Close to Fort Smith for easy access to dining and activities, yet peaceful enough for relaxation. Highly recommend this KOA

It was quite obvious that no one had checked/cleaned the site after the previous occupants left. There were food scraps laying around & a broken elbow on one of the sewer pipes.

We don't like to hear this! We would have loved to fix this issue. We will also do better in the future. We have staff that do site cleanup after check out but this was missed. We hope you will give us a second chance!

This is a fine campground where they work hard to keep things nice. They have done many improvements over the years. Good variety of site types and friendly staff.

Very nice campground. We stayed in a camping cabin that was situated around a little pond. Friendly ducks wandered through and were fun to watch. Bathrooms were a short walk, clean, and easy to access. Great recreation activities. Easy to find.

Great spot and decent value. Staff was friendly... booking, check in and check out was easy as pie. We stayed in camping cabin # 2. Full bed and bunks. Clean sheets, pillows and a blanket provided. We brought our own extra blankets and we did use them. Cabin heater worked well to keep the room very comfortable. Small tv worked though we ended up using our hot spot on our phone as it was faster than the provided wifi. You do have a bit of a walk to the bathrooms, no bathroom in our cabin. Bathrooms were clean, shower was hot and worked very well for us. Would choose this 10 times out of 10 over a Hotel. Would return anytime we were in Sallisaw.

We only stayed one night due to the fact that we were traveling in a RV. The site is level and far enough apart and the entire campground is wooded, making it feel very private. It has a very nice little dog park. This is close enough off the 40 to make it convenient and everything was quite nice. It would definitely be another stay if we come back this way.
