My cabin was clean and very suitable for my needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again when in that area. steve

This KOA is very close to the Royal Gorge and has Cabins and Pull Thru sites with Tent sites also. I stayed in a Basic Cabin with Toilet, which was convenient, especially for Grandsons. But it was very small and the description on their website was very vague about the size and amenities of these cabins. For the price of the cabin it was not worth it. The entire park looked well used and run down.

Our site was too small for our 5 th wheel and the staff was not helpful. They said it was our fault for reserving online. Probably won't stay here again.

The wifi was unusable. The office people were friendly, but unable to get us a receipt when we checked in. The woman said she would email us a receipt, but we never got that either. The people beside us in a full hook-up RV site, did not have an RV. Instead, they set up a tent and slept inside that. I asked the office if this was acceptable, but they did not know the rules.

Convenient to Bike race site and upper campground where family camped. Bathrooms very clean and well maintained. Sewer was plugged and was worrisome. Had to drive to another site to dump after it overflowed. We didn't use our toilet ever so it was just gray water we dumped. The WiFi was iffy. Othterwise we loved our stay!

Lovely campground with amazing views. Very close to activities-hiking and white water rafting. Very friendly staff and great little shop with everything you need!

I loved the amenities the KOA offered. Clean cabins. Fire pits in front of each cabin. The bathhouse with commodes and showers was clean, clean, clean�Easy accessibility to friendly staff and Royal Gorge. Giant slide, putt putt golf, pet pens for animals. My wish is that each cabin had a propane grill upon which to cook meals. Otherwise, I/we'll be back����

Great location for visiting the Royal Gorge. Lovely site with patio, pergola, patio table / chairs. Separate area for fire ring. Common bathroom areas were spotless. Very helpful staff. WIFI got overwhelmed as the park filled up, but otherwise reliable. We'd definitely come back.

Beautiful spot in the foothills of the Rockies. The lots were spacious and neat. This is one of the best KOA places we have stayed. They had larger lots with deck chairs and round tables, even some with pens for the dogs. Great place to spend a few days sightseeing this area of Colorado

Was there for a few days over Mother's day weekend, other than the wind we had to deal with.. was a very pleasant stay. The employees are very kind and the campers that were there just stay to themselves. They do have stuff for the kids to do.. I.E. Big Slide, Miniature Golf, Playground, So don't be afraid to bring them along.

We LOVED this KOA! Nancy, went above & beyond to always keep everyone happy! & always kept a clear line of communication in what was going on! Aaron, the maintenance man works HARD & keeps the place looking nice & is always making improvements! These 2 employees made this such a safe place for our kiddos & were always on the look out! We WILL def be back as we loved it here!

I love staying here! The owner is so nice and everyone is always helpful! The restrooms and showers are always clean! It's also such a convenient location for the Gorge / Canon City area! Plus, Canon City Brews and Bikes is not far away!!

Stayed 6 months-good rates. Park needs updating. Several washers/dryers broken my entire stay. Puncturevine weed (goatheads) a huge problem for getting stuck in dog's paws-painful. No grass, just gravel & weeds. Rocks used for decorative borders between sites destroy bumpers so be careful backing up! Aaron & Nancy very helpful staff. Rest of staff transient. Shouldn't allow campfires.

Men's bathroom urinal filled the bathroom with stench as this zero water urinal had not been maintained in months. One of the toilets leaked out of the bottom when flushed. In laundry room, all washers modified to not do a full final spin; all dryers had high heat function removed, causing extra money & time to dry. The laundry discharge pipe was broken and overflowed directly onto the ground. Sad

EASILY the easiest and most relaxed stay at a KOA I have ever had. They were very hospitable and in my opinion that is the biggest factor in how much if at all I enjoy my stay. Very pleased, thank you guys!

We love this litttle camp ground. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Tho an older KOA, it's always clean and so close to so many things to do. Would love to have seen it in it's glory days. That big old slide makes me smile every time. Makes me wish I could take a swoosh down it!

Gentlemen maintaining property was super helpful in getting us park, helping with propane, and had a customer forward facing pleasant attitude. Watched him working hard to maintain this KOA

Super tight spaces. Our site wasn’t even complete and had concrete all over from just being pouring, as well as the wooden form with screws all poking out. Our neighbor had aggressive dogs visiting that were barking and growling at our dog and at us so we couldn’t be outside. No staff around except young front desk girl, not maintenance, who was sent to clean up our site with 3” fingernails.

We had previously stayed here. We previously stayed at a cabin that contained a toilet. The cabin this time had no toilet which we were prepared for, but the lack of other amenities was disheartening. The lack of a point for drinking water or water that can be used for washing dishes was also disappointing.

As peaceful as it gets this time of year. Stayed here beginning of April 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. Dirt/gravel pad. Pavers, landscaping, and very fine gravel/sand mix fire pit area. Site #B12 General: 1) Very quiet and not many other campers this time of year. 2) 5-7 min for Royal Gorge Bridge Park and overlook picnic areas. 3) Spacious sites and not too close to neighbors and their hookups (many are a touch short but still work well) Campground WiFi: Worked pretty well. Conducted Zoom meetings and able to work on vpn. BUT that is mainly b/c the park was fairly empty. Cell/hotspot using booster: AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Verizon (4 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Details: Check-in: Site assignments posted on board. Office hours limited this time of year. Sites: Dirt/ gravel pad. Fairly spacious sites. Site 19: Was not our site but we noticed that the patio side connects directly to laundry and restrooms, so folks seem to forget their manners and cut through that site's patio spot. Campground Road: Dirt road but too not bumpy. Grounds: Clean. Bathrooms/Showers: Clean and well-maintained. Laundry: Worked well. Location: Gas, groceries and restaurants are in town 10 min Near highway: The KOA is slightly off of a main road so there is a touch noise during the day. Near train: No
