There is dog feces everywhere! Especially by long term lot and dog park. Everywhere you try and walk. I was concerned that my dog would catch something. This is disgusting. One night while I was brushing my teeth a man just walked into the woman's restroom! Why do men have the code? His 2 sons were using the woman's restrooms. I won't stay here again. Unsanitary and unsafe.

Great location along I-80. They have cable but all you get is the Food Channel. Mike came by our site along with the next one over to check out the hookup with Cable. Only the one channel and blamed it on Direct TV failing to come back and check out all the bad sites for Cable. Mike was great, at the mercy of Direct TV. Otherwise, great place to stop for the evening!

We loved our time at Rock Springs / Green River KOA! The laundry facilities were abundant and clean. Our pull through site was level. And we even had a fenced in patio with a propane grill available to use inside the patio! It was so nice to be able to grill some chicken for dinner and sit on the porch swing and comfortable padded chairs at the table!’

Location for services is good, sites are level, but park is more of a dusty field off the freeway

Perfect spot to see the area. Easy in and out, nice level site with full hook ups and friendly people at check in. Pretty mountain views!

Very nice place! Sites are wide and easy to navigate. The gravel and ruts need to be smoothed out to balance vehicles.

The grounds are meticulously maintained, the store is really one of the best; the restrooms, washroom & laundry well cared for by a staff that takes pride. Pearched at just below 9000’ they care for your comfort with information about altitude sickness & offer bottled oxygen in the store to help you cope if needed. They are well staffed & take care of your every need & views are great!

Very nice staff! Allowed for late checkout which is so helpful due to disabled spouse. My only complaint was the highway noise. We arrived after dark and the park was sooo dark it did make it difficult to park.

Decent facility although the restrooms could use a hug. 24 hour laundry room is a great asset. Easy access to the interstate. Great/convenient location.

Very convenient location. Just would be nice if the parking sites had a smooth pavement around the hook ups as laying in rocks to hook things up is no fun. The employees we encountered were nice and helpful. Laundry was convenient but seemed run down, paint spilled all over chair, washers and dryers needed a good cleaning, we were there after Labor Day.

We didn’t even stay the night. We were put in a spot with absolutely no shade …. When asked nicely to move (the whole park was almost EMPTY) we were put in an even worse spot We had to check into a hotel for the night and loose our money we paid KOA. As a KOA member for years, I felt very disrespected.

Well staffed. Great stay

For the price, we were very unhappy with the amenities. The nearest bathrooms were closed, the sites were very close together and the WiFi was spotty. Not somewhere I would go to again.

I am glad we had a patio site. Not a fan of the buddy sites. Overall it is good. Dog park was good. It is really close to interstate so you can hear it. All gravel. Wifi was good. Good for a night or two stop.

Below average for a KOA. At least the sites were fairly level. OK for a one night error while passing through.

This KOA is mostly long term workers on the far side of the campground. Most campers seem to use this KOA as an overnight stop since Rock Springs is an industrial town. I had electrical problems at my site and instead of moving me to another site I had to use an extension cord to connect to another post on the door side of my camper. There is a pool. I found enough things to do for 4 days.

Your price for a parking spot with ONLY electricity, no water, is extremely high. The following night we stayed in a KOA with full hookups for $10 less. It was also a nicer site.

Met all expectations and a great and friendly staff with a great laundry and clean and great shower facilities

The booking site didn't work so in frustrated haste I tried next morning and booked Green River Utah KOA by mistake. KOA staff at Rock Springs/Green River were very friendly and understanding of my mixup and found us a suitable site. They assured me no fire ban and sold me firewood but didn't mention there was no fire pit at our site, or at most sites. Clean, accessible, but dismal camp.

We stopped here for the night on our way to the big hard enduro race in Idaho. Having read some of the reviews on the way we were pretty much expecting the worst. Like any campground, if you got stuck in the worst spot you'd probably not be too thrilled, however, we were in probably one of the largest and most private spots we've had at any KOA. The gravel was even and had a nice, large paved area. There was also a picnic table, two Adirondack chairs, a large fire ring, and another bench, all within a privacy fence. The view of the mountains was great. The super nice manager went out of her way to let my husband know about the large amount of off-road trails that lead directly from the campground. We had no idea you could ride from there, it made sense because the place was filled with outdoor enthusiasts; side by sides, mountain bikes, etc. The place did not seem rundown or overgrown to me, nobody walking through our campsite or anything weird like that. Yes it is the high desert so if you're expecting grass you're a bit out of touch. We did not use any of the amenities so can't speak to that. We would definitely stay there again if we were driving through, and make sure we bring all the toys.

UPDATE 6/7/26: This location is one of our favorites and we have stayed several times in the deluxe cabins as well as several times in the RV sites. Staff is still amazing and it is still a great stop. ORIGINAL POST: This was an overnight stay on our way home. We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins that has a full bath and shower. It was a great cabin. This park is quiet. The RV sites are all gravel, and some sites have a privacy fence with a nice patio and fire pit.l The tent sites are really nice. Some have a gazebo, but all have grass and privacy fences. There are 5 deluxe cabins and I believe there were 5 small cabins that have no bathroom. The pool was covered, but in the summer it would be great. There is a nice playground, basketball court and horseshoe pit. The staff was so nice. The office store had a lot of items available. Simple but great KOA. We have stayed here several times in a trailer as well. We've stayed in one of the water and electric sites, and we just stayed in a 30A FHU site. It was still a great place to stay and stay is wonderful. All the bathrooms were very clean. If you need an overnight stop, this would be a great location.

Had a nice heated pool that's open for these kids. Enough said 🤣… clean courteous and pricing felt reasonable.
