Meet Your Hosts

Laura Walton

Welcome to Rock Springs!

Laura Walton started her KOA career in maintenance in North Carolina before moving on to various roles at Cherokee/Great Smokies KOA Holiday, Angola/Hogback Lake KOA Holiday, South Padre Island KOA Holiday and Sugarloaf Key/Key West KOA Holiday, where she worked her way up to Assistant General Manager. In 2023, she became the General Manager of Rock Springs/Green River KOA Journey. Prior to KOA, Laura served in the United States Marine Corps as the only female aircraft mechanic in her squadron. She went on to attain her paramedic license and worked for several paramedical companies before she and her partner, Pam, started a bakery. After ten years of baking, they decided to join the KOA family and haven't looked back since. In her spare time, you can find Laura joking around with campers or playing Xbox on her beloved couch. If you see her around camp, make sure you stop and say hello!
