  • Pets must be on a 6 ft. or shorter leash when outside your RV, tent or lodging.
  • Dog fencing may NOT be staked into the ground.
  • Do not leave your pet unattended.
  • Pick up after your pet. Doggie bags are located throughout the campground for your use.
  • Aggressive and loud pets of any kind are not allowed. If your pet shows signs of aggression towards other pets or other guests, you will be asked to leave and will forfeit your site payment.

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, strict limits are enforced on the number of people who may be at the campground per each reservation.
  • At check-in, you will be asked to verify the number of guests staying at your site.
  • A limit of 4 to 6 people per site (depending on site type) will be enforced. That total number includes both the number of people on your reservation and any day visitors. If you have the maximum number of people on your reservation, day visitors are not allowed.

RV and Tent sites are limited to 6 people per site.
Camping Cabins and Deluxe Cabins are limited to the maximum occupancy. The number of guests/visitors per site cannot exceed the maximum sleeping capacity of the accommodation.

Note: If the number of overnight guests on your reservation allows for day visitors, those day visitors must check in at the front desk upon arrival. Keep in mind that parking is limited and is first come, first serve. Visiting guests are permitted until Quiet Hours begin at 10pm and must adhere to campground rules. Should day visitors turn into overnight guests, they must register at the front desk.

Please put your trash out in front of your site and guest services will pick it up for you.
All trash must be in a secure box or tied trash bag.
Do not leave trash out overnight - we have critters that patrol the area.

Meet Your Hosts

Laura Walton

Welcome to Rock Springs!

Laura Walton started her KOA career in maintenance in North Carolina before moving on to various roles at Cherokee/Great Smokies KOA Holiday, Angola/Hogback Lake KOA Holiday, South Padre Island KOA Holiday and Sugarloaf Key/Key West KOA Holiday, where she worked her way up to Assistant General Manager. In 2023, she became the General Manager of Rock Springs/Green River KOA Journey. Prior to KOA, Laura served in the United States Marine Corps as the only female aircraft mechanic in her squadron. She went on to attain her paramedic license and worked for several paramedical companies before she and her partner, Pam, started a bakery. After ten years of baking, they decided to join the KOA family and haven't looked back since. In her spare time, you can find Laura joking around with campers or playing Xbox on her beloved couch. If you see her around camp, make sure you stop and say hello!
