It’s convenient right off the highway. Great for an overnight stay.

Perfectly level pad and a wonderful man checked us in as we arrived

There was a bit of confusion about which side of the meter to park on and a complaint from a neighboring camper, but we didn't want to interfere with others being able to exit.

The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful.

Convenient and clean.

Sites are not clearly marked and pretty uneven. I felt it was over priced for what you got.

Convenient to I80, which also makes it very noisy. It was fine as an overnight stop on our trip west.

The campground was great. The problem was that Wyoming wind.

The campground was very basic. There were no trees or grass. The location was in the middle of nowhere. The girl in the was office wasn’t very friendly. We will not be returning.

Gravel Mud Pit no amenities what so ever. Worst I’ve seen.

Staff was rude and pushy stating they were working out side and I was speeding in the campground. This was unacceptable, I witnessed a number of campers and motor homes entering and exiting at a higher speed than I was moving at. There were no signs stating construction or men working. I cannot recommend this campground to anyone, I even went to the office and offered to leave if they were unhappy

Camp store had supplies. Large park, all gravel. Dog park needs some updates. Bathrooms were clean and showers were hot. Good for over night stop.

Good for a quick stopover

Average campground. Cable did not work. Front desk said it might be power issues that they were dealing with. The power at my site did not work so I had to plug in at the site next door. Site was mostly level & quiet, although some road noise from interstate. Laundry room floor was not clean & washers had an odor like they needed to be cleaned.

It was ok…when we were going to sleep we felt a consistent vibration feeling in the ground. I don’t know where it could have been coming from…maybe something generated from the large circular tanks in front of the park. ???

We never know how far we will travel back and forth on 80 and what time we will stop, so it is very convenient to have the ability to get a site after hours at your park. Husband likes the showeres too.

Too many mud puddles! I realize the area had experienced quite a bit of rainfall having driven through it, but the park's management needs to keep more gravel on the ground so people don't have to deal with so much mud trying to hook up their RVs to the utilities. They obviously don't spend anything on landscaping (not a tree, bush, or blade of grass to be seen) so put down gravel!

We were placed in a spot that was extremely muddy. Probably the worst campsite we have stayed in during our 2.5yrs of full time travel. The dog park was a mud pit. It was not kept up, maintained or cleaned. Even the gates failed to latch. While walking my dog in the only non-muddy patch of ground cover I was rudely instructed that dogs had to be walked in the dog park which again, was a mud pit.

A over night stay in the water/electric gravel area. Very friendly staff. Easy on and force freeway I-70. Smiths Foods and Mavericks Fuel within 2 miles on the same road KOA is located.

Nice overnight stay at this travel park KOA. Pool was closed but restrooms and showers were impeccably clean.

Lovely place to stay for the night. We were traveling home from out west and needed a place to get a good night's sleep and a good shower. We know we can count on KOA to have clean bathrooms and a safe place to camp. They never fail us!

It was just one step above a road side rest. Parked next to some oil storage tanks and the freeway.
Oct 03, 2025
The dog park needs some serious love, since there is no grass anywhere.
Oct 03, 2025
Easy, quick check-in, friendly staff, and wide level sites.

Fine for one night. Right on the interstate which is convenient but noisy. No privacy between sites. Clean facilities. Definitely good if you are traveling through that area.

We stopped here for the night on our way to the big hard enduro race in Idaho. Having read some of the reviews on the way we were pretty much expecting the worst. Like any campground, if you got stuck in the worst spot you'd probably not be too thrilled, however, we were in probably one of the largest and most private spots we've had at any KOA. The gravel was even and had a nice, large paved area. There was also a picnic table, two Adirondack chairs, a large fire ring, and another bench, all within a privacy fence. The view of the mountains was great. The super nice manager went out of her way to let my husband know about the large amount of off-road trails that lead directly from the campground. We had no idea you could ride from there, it made sense because the place was filled with outdoor enthusiasts; side by sides, mountain bikes, etc. The place did not seem rundown or overgrown to me, nobody walking through our campsite or anything weird like that. Yes it is the high desert so if you're expecting grass you're a bit out of touch. We did not use any of the amenities so can't speak to that. We would definitely stay there again if we were driving through, and make sure we bring all the toys.

UPDATE 6/7/26: This location is one of our favorites and we have stayed several times in the deluxe cabins as well as several times in the RV sites. Staff is still amazing and it is still a great stop. ORIGINAL POST: This was an overnight stay on our way home. We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins that has a full bath and shower. It was a great cabin. This park is quiet. The RV sites are all gravel, and some sites have a privacy fence with a nice patio and fire pit.l The tent sites are really nice. Some have a gazebo, but all have grass and privacy fences. There are 5 deluxe cabins and I believe there were 5 small cabins that have no bathroom. The pool was covered, but in the summer it would be great. There is a nice playground, basketball court and horseshoe pit. The staff was so nice. The office store had a lot of items available. Simple but great KOA. We have stayed here several times in a trailer as well. We've stayed in one of the water and electric sites, and we just stayed in a 30A FHU site. It was still a great place to stay and stay is wonderful. All the bathrooms were very clean. If you need an overnight stop, this would be a great location.

Had a nice heated pool that's open for these kids. Enough said 🤣… clean courteous and pricing felt reasonable.
