Very nice staff, and due to weather, we stayed another night. Very clean area AND the biggest dog run we've seen, Scrappy had a blast running around the big tires!!!

Staff was excellent. Interesting location at foothills of small mountains with walking paths, behind a tank farm.. views just ok. Just off highway. Gravel sites pretty level, we upgraded to FHU with patio, fire pit, fence and chairs.. nice, not sure worth $ of upgrade. Baths very small, old, pretty clean, useable but nothing special. Nothing within walking distance, 8 minutes to Walmart etc.

Great place to get off the freeway. Sites are huge and staff is nice. Not much for amenities but what we needed for an overnight.

Space was sloped and we had to adjust a few times in order to detach our fifth wheel. Overall quiet and not many guests this time of year.

Men’s Washroom was totally dirty. When it is not clean, user‘s don’t keep it clean. For me thatwas waste of money.

Just a quick overnight stay to have full hookups. Didn't use any other amenities. Nice big park as I did taking morning walk lap around it.

We got evacuated from driving down I 80 due to high winds. This was a welcoming Oasis. We only needed electricity so that is all we used. This is a great park for traveling industrial workers...

This KOA is the worst KOA I'ved stayed it. After a little rain this KOA is a muddy mess. I walked my dog and it is the mud that sticks to your shoes and my dogs' paws. When I unhooked my hose and electric cable were all covered with mud. What a mess. You will never see me again.

They have everything we needed after 9 hours of driving. Pizza really helped since nobody wants to cook after a long day. The park was clean, well maintained and had wide births for large RV's. Hope the next KOA is as good. Thank you!

Convenient off freeway. Lights from fuel storage facility next door were annoying...no real star gazing. Facilities were older but in good repair. Very pleasant staff. We stayed in early season, April, so very few occupants. Long term section had a few trees but none for overnighters to enjoy.

Very nice, clean park. We had a site with patio and privacy fence. Best site we’ve had on our six week trip!! Will definitely return when in the area!!

I appreciated the park and the staff. And they added a discount when I decided to stay an extra day. There were lots of things around Rock Springs to explore. Turns out I was in RS in 2013 in my first RV, and I had stayed at the KOA. I even found a photo of the mountain on the West side! It was early in the season but everything I needed was available. Thanks

The wind was blowing so hard. We asked to change location and they charged us more. Maybe 3 other people in the campground. Only needed electric and charged us full set up because we wanted to be sheltered from the wind.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The maintenance manager was very helpful with giving us a good site to match our camper. We ended up having to stay longer due to roads closed for winds. They made the time much better.

We felt safe. We were forced to stop because I80 was closed. Park is a little run down but we would stay again.

The dog run could use a little love! Good for an overnight but close to the highway; recommend booking as far back from the office as you are able.

We have stayed here many times This time we made a one night reservation for Dec 26 then a few days later decided to travel earlier and reserved a spot for Nov 22, thinking I would cancel the Dec reservation at check in, which I did. BUT I was charged a $20 cancellation fee for a cancellation made 34 days in advance. Is this a new policy?

We stopped here for the night on our way to the big hard enduro race in Idaho. Having read some of the reviews on the way we were pretty much expecting the worst. Like any campground, if you got stuck in the worst spot you'd probably not be too thrilled, however, we were in probably one of the largest and most private spots we've had at any KOA. The gravel was even and had a nice, large paved area. There was also a picnic table, two Adirondack chairs, a large fire ring, and another bench, all within a privacy fence. The view of the mountains was great. The super nice manager went out of her way to let my husband know about the large amount of off-road trails that lead directly from the campground. We had no idea you could ride from there, it made sense because the place was filled with outdoor enthusiasts; side by sides, mountain bikes, etc. The place did not seem rundown or overgrown to me, nobody walking through our campsite or anything weird like that. Yes it is the high desert so if you're expecting grass you're a bit out of touch. We did not use any of the amenities so can't speak to that. We would definitely stay there again if we were driving through, and make sure we bring all the toys.

UPDATE 6/7/26: This location is one of our favorites and we have stayed several times in the deluxe cabins as well as several times in the RV sites. Staff is still amazing and it is still a great stop. ORIGINAL POST: This was an overnight stay on our way home. We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins that has a full bath and shower. It was a great cabin. This park is quiet. The RV sites are all gravel, and some sites have a privacy fence with a nice patio and fire pit.l The tent sites are really nice. Some have a gazebo, but all have grass and privacy fences. There are 5 deluxe cabins and I believe there were 5 small cabins that have no bathroom. The pool was covered, but in the summer it would be great. There is a nice playground, basketball court and horseshoe pit. The staff was so nice. The office store had a lot of items available. Simple but great KOA. We have stayed here several times in a trailer as well. We've stayed in one of the water and electric sites, and we just stayed in a 30A FHU site. It was still a great place to stay and stay is wonderful. All the bathrooms were very clean. If you need an overnight stop, this would be a great location.

Had a nice heated pool that's open for these kids. Enough said 🤣… clean courteous and pricing felt reasonable.
