It was a place to stay overnight. It was clean. But limited trees, shrubs that would make it feel more like a camping experience. Wind would probably blow away the trees anyway.

Great site easy to get in and out for our one night stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here many times and each time it gets better.

Very clean and well kept. There has been water issues in some sites and they made sure we were informed and unaffected in our area. Very friendly staff and informative about the area!

it's basically a gravel parking lot. Was told there were only three spots left--there were many empty spots. Our spot looked nothing like the picture!

Spring storm caused snow, ice and i80 closure. Being from Florida, we were completely unprepared. Mark offered valuable guidance that helped us navigate this unfamiliar territory. He even loaned us his personal ice scraper. He is a gem! Thanks again, Mark! Sincerely, 2 Floridians headed west.

You are conveniently located just off the expressway. The park is good for a one night stay when traveling down I80. Mark was extremely helpful. There was a minor issue with our first site but he helped get us settled into a site that fit our needs.

I don’t have enough characters to explain why we will never stay at your campground again. Also $75 for a Journey KOA in the winter is ridiculous. I am sending a detailed letter to corporate explaining why.

Very accommodating. Our truck broke down and we were delayed 2 days and the staff were very understanding. Will definitely stay here again.

The RV Park was nice. People were nice, but there was no cable and that was very disappointing. A young man came over and there was no cable on the other two sites next to us either. Stayed there about two years ago and there was no cable not a good thing thank you OK wait wait wait come here. Come here, Freddy. You for here comes a cat.

I greatly appreciate the manager there Laura she was amazing. The campground is beautiful and close to places to hike which I thoroughly enjoyed. The facilities were very clean and well kept. Thank y'all for the stay.

Nothing to tell! Got in at 8:00 pm, 25 degrees & windy as heck! Went to bed! Up at 8:00 am & left! 24 degrees & windy. Did not use an amenities. Stayed in the past & all was great!!

Was a wonderful stay. Loved it was super big rv friendly and i was able to ad an extra night due to the high winds making traveling unsafe.

Overnight in March yet the cost was very high for an overnight stop. The spots were muddy due to the weather, but even on a nice day they would be bad. A gravel parking lot with rv spots. Had Jack & Jill parking so your door opened right to your neighbors. Road noise, nowhere to set outside and view of oil tanks. Will not be back, and in the future will avoid KOA. At $87 a night, not worth it.

This was the 2nd time staying there, both times i was passing thru going home after driving 2k miles. Everything about the campground is perfect. The only thing i wish is that if someone like me reserves an overnight spot with electric only not even unhooking truck then we should'nt be paying 60-70 a night. A little absurd on price in that aspect for an overnight spot.

We made an online reservation, arriving after office hours at 6:00. Our site was a pull through close to the bathroom and office, which was a real plus and showed understanding of campervan needs. The night temperature was 10 degrees. However, the walk to the clean bathroom was covered in ice and snow. Ok for a quick overnight in need of electricity for our heater.

We stopped here for the night on our way to the big hard enduro race in Idaho. Having read some of the reviews on the way we were pretty much expecting the worst. Like any campground, if you got stuck in the worst spot you'd probably not be too thrilled, however, we were in probably one of the largest and most private spots we've had at any KOA. The gravel was even and had a nice, large paved area. There was also a picnic table, two Adirondack chairs, a large fire ring, and another bench, all within a privacy fence. The view of the mountains was great. The super nice manager went out of her way to let my husband know about the large amount of off-road trails that lead directly from the campground. We had no idea you could ride from there, it made sense because the place was filled with outdoor enthusiasts; side by sides, mountain bikes, etc. The place did not seem rundown or overgrown to me, nobody walking through our campsite or anything weird like that. Yes it is the high desert so if you're expecting grass you're a bit out of touch. We did not use any of the amenities so can't speak to that. We would definitely stay there again if we were driving through, and make sure we bring all the toys.

UPDATE 6/7/26: This location is one of our favorites and we have stayed several times in the deluxe cabins as well as several times in the RV sites. Staff is still amazing and it is still a great stop. ORIGINAL POST: This was an overnight stay on our way home. We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins that has a full bath and shower. It was a great cabin. This park is quiet. The RV sites are all gravel, and some sites have a privacy fence with a nice patio and fire pit.l The tent sites are really nice. Some have a gazebo, but all have grass and privacy fences. There are 5 deluxe cabins and I believe there were 5 small cabins that have no bathroom. The pool was covered, but in the summer it would be great. There is a nice playground, basketball court and horseshoe pit. The staff was so nice. The office store had a lot of items available. Simple but great KOA. We have stayed here several times in a trailer as well. We've stayed in one of the water and electric sites, and we just stayed in a 30A FHU site. It was still a great place to stay and stay is wonderful. All the bathrooms were very clean. If you need an overnight stop, this would be a great location.

Had a nice heated pool that's open for these kids. Enough said 🤣… clean courteous and pricing felt reasonable.
