Staff were unfriendly and not knowledgeable about opening dates of pool or playground. Facility is outdated and bathrooms need repair. Maintenance workers was unfriendly. We have used this KOA for 16 years, but will bypass to other campgrounds in the future!!

Green River is easily accessible with level sites and clean facilities. However, we were not escorted to our site, poor signage led us to park one spot off. Not knowing that we set up and after 4 hours, maintenance made us move one spot over for a motorhome needing 50 amps, despite numerous empty 50-amp spots available. Frustrating and unnecessary due to thoughtless staff or management.

Definitely the worst KOA we’ve stayed at. It served the purpose for an overnight stop over, and nothing more. They actually give away ear plugs at check in, as there are trains that pass nearby. Weeds everywhere, no grass for doggies to do their business. Overall, poorly maintained.

No water. A long term camper told us this is an ongoing issue with no water pressure. It’s a convenient stop for overnight but just outside our door was a gas terminal-giant gas tanks. Staff nice. They did give us 25%refund -I’ll be watching to see if I actually get it.

This KOA was very convenient when traveling I-80. The staff were so friendly they greeted us with enthusiasm upon arrival. They were informative and always attentive. The facilities are fine and the staff is upfront about the highway noise you may hear and offer free ear plugs!

Barren camp, behind what looked like an oil refinery. Way too close to the interstate, and the train. Very hard up sleep. Nothing attractive about the camp at all. Very disappointed.

Check in was easy and the people were friendly but the park itself was disappointing. The spaces were unlevel. Lots of highway noise and not well maintained.

Stay went fine. Very windy location. There are spots with fencing that helps some. Dog park is dirt and a few weeds. Gate has boards missing. I didn’t use the restrooms or showers.

Broken picnic tables no shade all gravel . Had to share water so we had no water to even wash a few dishes . We’ll never stay there again! Pictures of campground are false . It looks nothing like that. It’s like staying in a dirty parking lot!

Very loud, place looks like a big parking lot, not even a picnic table per site. Almost no shade. Pool was closed and looked wrecked. Plus is the friendly staff!

We stayed two nights and had a little trouble getting to the KOA due to high winds. Communicated with the staff at the KOA and they were very understanding. Great place to stay, had all the amenities, and very helpful staff.

It's an ok campground for overnight and convenient to the interstate. The bath house is just ok. I didn't check out the laundry. We ordered the pizza and it was delicious!

Everyone in the office was so kind and friendly.We only had our RV for a year and my husband was trying to hook up power.It didn’t work.So I went in and changed sites.The same thing happened on the second site.Our breaker blew and we didn’t know it.I went back in and told them what happened.They were so nice about everything.

Needs some upgrades in restrooms, and the lack of useable WiFi in 2025 is not a good thing. I was across from the office and couldn’t load a page. I commented on the WiFi 2 year ago and nothing changes. They have a lot of good things going to have such a simple thing hurt your ratings.

Sites are large, hookups are great. Quite desolate location with no view, dust and wind. Very little trees or green. It definitely took care of our needs however. Easy on and off location.

We stopped here for the night on our way to the big hard enduro race in Idaho. Having read some of the reviews on the way we were pretty much expecting the worst. Like any campground, if you got stuck in the worst spot you'd probably not be too thrilled, however, we were in probably one of the largest and most private spots we've had at any KOA. The gravel was even and had a nice, large paved area. There was also a picnic table, two Adirondack chairs, a large fire ring, and another bench, all within a privacy fence. The view of the mountains was great. The super nice manager went out of her way to let my husband know about the large amount of off-road trails that lead directly from the campground. We had no idea you could ride from there, it made sense because the place was filled with outdoor enthusiasts; side by sides, mountain bikes, etc. The place did not seem rundown or overgrown to me, nobody walking through our campsite or anything weird like that. Yes it is the high desert so if you're expecting grass you're a bit out of touch. We did not use any of the amenities so can't speak to that. We would definitely stay there again if we were driving through, and make sure we bring all the toys.

UPDATE 6/7/26: This location is one of our favorites and we have stayed several times in the deluxe cabins as well as several times in the RV sites. Staff is still amazing and it is still a great stop. ORIGINAL POST: This was an overnight stay on our way home. We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins that has a full bath and shower. It was a great cabin. This park is quiet. The RV sites are all gravel, and some sites have a privacy fence with a nice patio and fire pit.l The tent sites are really nice. Some have a gazebo, but all have grass and privacy fences. There are 5 deluxe cabins and I believe there were 5 small cabins that have no bathroom. The pool was covered, but in the summer it would be great. There is a nice playground, basketball court and horseshoe pit. The staff was so nice. The office store had a lot of items available. Simple but great KOA. We have stayed here several times in a trailer as well. We've stayed in one of the water and electric sites, and we just stayed in a 30A FHU site. It was still a great place to stay and stay is wonderful. All the bathrooms were very clean. If you need an overnight stop, this would be a great location.

Had a nice heated pool that's open for these kids. Enough said 🤣… clean courteous and pricing felt reasonable.
