Unlike KOA. Unfortunately. Desk staff unwelcoming, did not show us to our site, facilities were inoperative and in disrepair. (Non-flushing toilet, non-securable bathroom door, and after notifying staff nothing was done and had Mold in shower stall

Proximal to the highway, pool was nice to cool off in, dog run had nice features, but the landscape was weedy, Staff was nice, It was lacking in esthetics, campers were close, considering the cost, I would have expected a bit nicer,

Very dusty and the spaces were tight. The staff was friendly. It would have been nice to have some grass in the dog park. Good stop for the night.

I booked a long pull thru so I could stay hooked up. I was assured I could. When I got to my site it was short in length. I fit and stayed hooked up but there was no way I could reach the sewer. I am only a 22 foot trailer. I had to pull forward and block the street to dump. I booked months ahead of time. Won’t come back.

I came to have a couple of days of reset from my overlanding adventures. I booked a day in advance and stayed two days. Staff was very happy and friendly. Sites are clean and well maintained all the sites worked great it was a busy weekend due to a rodeo, swimming pool very clean good playground. A defiant recommend if going thru lower Wyoming.

we enjoyed it stay!

Big gravel parking lot. No trees/bushes. Had loud groups on either side of us. Not in a good location. Staff friendly, but park just not enticing. Will not stay there again.

To hot no shade.

I enjoyed a wonderful one night stay. The staff could not have been more helpful. Delivered ice and pizza right to my front door. Arguably one of the best pizzas I have ever enjoyed. Recommend staying here on your journey through Wyoming.

We prefer to boondock, but have stayed at many KOAs while doing long cross country road trips with kids. It's nice to have a few amenities after a very long day of driving. The Green River KOA is at the bottom of the list of KOAs we've visited simply because it was just a massive gravel parking lot with as many RVs squeezed in as possible.

We were VERY disappointed in this KOA. Usually a KOA is very nice, this one was not. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

This is no more than a dirt parking lot. If you just need a place to park for the night and want to pay a lot this is for you. It’s old and not keep up. It was full for a Tuesday and at the price you pay they could and should fix it up.

Just a gravel lot neat to petroleum storage area. A little shade in tent spots. Small pool. Bored attendant. Mostly clean bathroom. Some scrubland hiking to the north.

Initial site that we were given was soooo unlevel. When I requested a different site, the only way to get a level site was to upgrade to a 50 amp site which was an increase in cost. Level was what I asked for so I paid the additional cost. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Friendly and clean

Clean but just gravel. Several spots available when we checked in; requested extra space as husband is disabled. They said they would honor it as they were not full. Yet at 8:00 that night they put someone right next to us- 6 ft away- when there were still 8-10 other open spaces. Of course new guests were noisy unhooking etc. very inconsiderate.

We arrived and the staff was wonderful. Our spot was great and all the amenities were fantastic

It was a good place to an over night. Nice and flat. Easy access. Propane easy to get to

Great staff and amenities, I would like some shade trees because it is hot and sunny there. Dog park could use some attention.

I appreciated the very clean restroom facilities and showers. Very friendly service from all the staff!

We were stranded with a broke down rig, got towed in and waited three weeks for parts. They made it almost like being home. Thanks!

This is a stopover campground, basic, very clean, pleasant staff. All sites are pull through, but it can get tight. We stayed four nights to have engine repairs done at the Freightliner dealership just four miles from the camp ground. For a stopover, this campground is ideal.

4 night stay. Perfect for visiting our family in Rock Springs. Site was clean and full hookups were in working order. This KOA needs a little TLC (ground maintenance, garbage etc) but is perfect for spending the night.

Overall nice campground, enjoyed the pool, staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately our site wasn’t very level which made the last step off our steps awkward, also sewer drain pipe set way to high making emptying tanks extremely difficult

We stayed here twice in a 2 week period. For what it is it works. But it needs some work. Dog walk area gates doesn’t work, doors for bathrooms won’t close, and WiFi was horrible. We had spot 37 and be careful around the utilities. There’s a 3/8” copper grounding rod coming out of the ground that not visible until you step on it or kick it

Outdated, rude attendants in front office. Directly behind petroleum plant which is never mentioned. Bathrooms not clean.

We stopped here for the night on our way to the big hard enduro race in Idaho. Having read some of the reviews on the way we were pretty much expecting the worst. Like any campground, if you got stuck in the worst spot you'd probably not be too thrilled, however, we were in probably one of the largest and most private spots we've had at any KOA. The gravel was even and had a nice, large paved area. There was also a picnic table, two Adirondack chairs, a large fire ring, and another bench, all within a privacy fence. The view of the mountains was great. The super nice manager went out of her way to let my husband know about the large amount of off-road trails that lead directly from the campground. We had no idea you could ride from there, it made sense because the place was filled with outdoor enthusiasts; side by sides, mountain bikes, etc. The place did not seem rundown or overgrown to me, nobody walking through our campsite or anything weird like that. Yes it is the high desert so if you're expecting grass you're a bit out of touch. We did not use any of the amenities so can't speak to that. We would definitely stay there again if we were driving through, and make sure we bring all the toys.

UPDATE 6/7/26: This location is one of our favorites and we have stayed several times in the deluxe cabins as well as several times in the RV sites. Staff is still amazing and it is still a great stop. ORIGINAL POST: This was an overnight stay on our way home. We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins that has a full bath and shower. It was a great cabin. This park is quiet. The RV sites are all gravel, and some sites have a privacy fence with a nice patio and fire pit.l The tent sites are really nice. Some have a gazebo, but all have grass and privacy fences. There are 5 deluxe cabins and I believe there were 5 small cabins that have no bathroom. The pool was covered, but in the summer it would be great. There is a nice playground, basketball court and horseshoe pit. The staff was so nice. The office store had a lot of items available. Simple but great KOA. We have stayed here several times in a trailer as well. We've stayed in one of the water and electric sites, and we just stayed in a 30A FHU site. It was still a great place to stay and stay is wonderful. All the bathrooms were very clean. If you need an overnight stop, this would be a great location.

Had a nice heated pool that's open for these kids. Enough said 🤣… clean courteous and pricing felt reasonable.
