I had asked about ordering a pizza and was told that the lady was the only one there and did not have time to make a pizza . She informed me that she was the only one available for checking in guest, cleaning the facilities, cabins, everything else that needed to be done. tried to upgrade my cabin for one that showed available on the web. but was told she couldn't because it wasn't cleaned.

Hosts where great, however we are placed right up on folks with plenty of spaces open. Guy next to us parked wrong direction causeing us to face wrong direction. Therefore he had both picnic tables on his door side. Bathrooms next to office better than next to us. They need work, door handles, shower faucets loose. Site is dusty gravel.

The power supply at the assigned spot didn’t work so we had to move to another. Rate seemed high for available amenities. Not sure I would stay here again

Easy to make a reservation. The staff called back right away. Price is ok. Bathroom is pretty cleanlication is easy to find and close to gas station and town for food and grocery.

Had a nice 3 day stay. Real close proximity to Flaming Gorge. Did the loop tour there. Stores are close drive away. Rock Springs seems like a nice town.

Friendly staff, good service. Enjoyed privacy fence around the tent site and awning over the table for shade. Was disappointed that the “grass” tent pad was a dust pit. My dog enjoyed taking dust baths, but my van is now full of dust. There are trees around the tent sites, but it’s just a dry, dusty, rocky area. It’s much like the surrounding area, so I can’t be too mad.

Great service and site was comfortable and we opted for the private space which had a fenced area, pergola, table, chairs and a BBQ. Only reason for 4 star is the location was quite windy... which is unavoidable there. I would stay here again if I am passing through.

Between the lit up front of the building and the lit up storage tanks just on the other side of the front fence, it made for a pretty lit up evening! Should have requested a rear site, but not sure how much difference it would have made. Just passing through for a night so no big deal. But that's still a lot of light!

I'm so glad it wasn't hot when we stayed there. Our site was good, tho. The park is clean and it's a nice place to stop overnight when traveling to other destinations.

The campground was clean with friendly staff. The tv sure, however were VERY CRAMPED. Door to door with your neighbor with a very narrow communal-type campsite. 2 tables are outside the rvs doors. If you have a carpet, spread out your neighbor will step on it- that’s how tight it is. Good for friends. Bad for strangers. We were packed one off top of another. Will not stay here again

Very busy laundromat but got our laundry done. The park is large. It is covered in gravel right off the highway so it has a quick exit and entry.

Not a huge fan of how you park facing another camper. They pulled in late then started a charcoal grill and had to close our windows cause of the smoke from him trying to start his charcoal.

Campground is located next to huge petroleum storage tanks It doesn’t feel safe , and it looks horrible The sites are way too close together and the pull through sites have entrances on both sides, which makes taking out your awning next to impossible On a good note , the place has nice bathroom and shower

Toilet seats didn't fit, toilets weren't level and rocked, no shade trees, lights from office flooded our trailer all night keeping us awake.

Really disappointed overall. One of the most expensive KOA we’ve stayed at with the least amenities. All gravel and no trees. We’re not flying there flags.

the campground was very clean. the staff was very friendly and helpful. We particularly liked the wooden dividers between campsites. This allowed the sites to be close but still gave us privacy.

This is the most unappealing KOA we've stayed at during our 7000 mile trip. It sits behind a tank farm and right next to the freeway. The sites have no foliage and the "gravel" (rocks) in big rig sites is so big it can get stuck between dual wheels. For tent camping, the sites are great - private & trees. Price is way too high compared to other KOAs that have better amenities. No shade!

We booked by what was represented on the website. There was no grass tent beds. Pool was broken down & not working. The noise from the freeway was absolutely unbearable. Thanks for offering ear plugs!

We were greeted warmly, which I always appreciate and given ideas of things to do in the area, and restaurants. The only thing keeping me from giving you 5 stars was the electrical issue I had at my site, which took 40 minutes to resolve. The maint guy insisted the 50A electrical was fine. My system said there was an open neutral and would not allow me to connect. I moved and next site was fine

There really wasn’t much added to this KOA, it was very basic and plain. There wasn’t anything to do for kids. My kids got told to get off the park at 8:00 at night. There wasn’t a fire pit for the deluxe cabins. Our futon couch was so worn down and old that they had kept it together by metal wires with a large gap in the middle, you couldn’t use it. Needed some improvements.

We arrived just after closing but the host/attendant was very kind and showed us where our spot was. The dogs loved the little park area for them.

We were disappointed with the campground. The host said he would be in the office till 7 pm. We arrived 6:05 and office closed. Host did not know exit number to exit I 80. All sits were rocks no greenery. Would not stay there again. Most expensive park we stayed in and just not the quality we expected from KOA park.

We stopped here for the night on our way to the big hard enduro race in Idaho. Having read some of the reviews on the way we were pretty much expecting the worst. Like any campground, if you got stuck in the worst spot you'd probably not be too thrilled, however, we were in probably one of the largest and most private spots we've had at any KOA. The gravel was even and had a nice, large paved area. There was also a picnic table, two Adirondack chairs, a large fire ring, and another bench, all within a privacy fence. The view of the mountains was great. The super nice manager went out of her way to let my husband know about the large amount of off-road trails that lead directly from the campground. We had no idea you could ride from there, it made sense because the place was filled with outdoor enthusiasts; side by sides, mountain bikes, etc. The place did not seem rundown or overgrown to me, nobody walking through our campsite or anything weird like that. Yes it is the high desert so if you're expecting grass you're a bit out of touch. We did not use any of the amenities so can't speak to that. We would definitely stay there again if we were driving through, and make sure we bring all the toys.

UPDATE 6/7/26: This location is one of our favorites and we have stayed several times in the deluxe cabins as well as several times in the RV sites. Staff is still amazing and it is still a great stop. ORIGINAL POST: This was an overnight stay on our way home. We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins that has a full bath and shower. It was a great cabin. This park is quiet. The RV sites are all gravel, and some sites have a privacy fence with a nice patio and fire pit.l The tent sites are really nice. Some have a gazebo, but all have grass and privacy fences. There are 5 deluxe cabins and I believe there were 5 small cabins that have no bathroom. The pool was covered, but in the summer it would be great. There is a nice playground, basketball court and horseshoe pit. The staff was so nice. The office store had a lot of items available. Simple but great KOA. We have stayed here several times in a trailer as well. We've stayed in one of the water and electric sites, and we just stayed in a 30A FHU site. It was still a great place to stay and stay is wonderful. All the bathrooms were very clean. If you need an overnight stop, this would be a great location.
