I upgraded to a small cabin because my tent was soaked from the previous night of camping in KS. They were so friendly and helpful and got me a cabin. It was super close to town so I was able to go out and explore the area. Everything was clean. I would definitely stay here again.

It was a great location for a quick overnight trip. The park is very well maintained and clean. Even with the highway right there, it was still very quite in the cabin.

The heater did not work very well.

Unfortunately cabins are not well insulated. We have placed an additional heater in many cabins to help with this problem.

Space heater was not up to the task, alas. Probably OK in the summer�. Also no place to get drinking water that I could see. Cabin and bathrooms were very clean

I stayed in one of the little cabins. I was prepared with my own bedding, just a sleeping bag and pillow. Very comfortable. It was just the kind of experience I wanted. I wanted a little camping, privacy, quiet and security. It was very clean, both the cabin and the restroom. I had a little campfire. The heater kept it nice and warm during the night. A perfect little overnight stay.

Cabin A/C smelled strongly of urine. Someone had urinated off the side of front porch and on the porch, too. I texted the front office and got no response. Shower drains were clogged with hair and didn't drain properly. One stall out of order in ladies restroom, another was out of toilet paper. Change machine in laundry broke, had to wait for office to open to get change. Dirty disrepair.

We were here for one night on a road trip. The Kamping Kabin had a fridge!!!! A+ So appreciated. The hosts were super friendly. The restrooms are clean. Rawlins is in a serious draught so the grass and the splash pad are suffering. Water is tight. We had a comfortable place to sleep and recharge. We will be back.

They had their swimming pool cemented in, which is OK but I was under the impression they had a splash pad which they did not have in working order and was closed. For being such a small town and nothing really to do there this was pretty sad that at least this was not available as stated on the website when reserved

Staff are very friendly. Loved the outdoor kitchen, really made this KOA unique. No splash pad but on-site washers and 4 showers, signs said water shortage? Shade would be beneficial to enjoy outdoors more. Only one socket for electricity, had to take turns on what we wanted to plug in....phone, fan, or coffee pot. Overall it was the usual for a KOA Journey. I'd stay again if necessary.

Really appreciated the air conditioner and refrigerator in the cabin. Not so dog friendly but understand all the signage regarding dogs since some people ruin it for everyone.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at Rawlins KOA. the staff were extremely helpful and friendly to talk with. We appreciated the young man who turned the AC on in our cabin prior to our arrival. The bathhouse was clean as was the park in general. The outdoor kitchen area was nice to prepare a meal and meet other travelers. We will stay here again if in the area or passing through.

There was no chair in the cabin. There was no shelf by the bed for an alarm. The rv behind us had a big dog not on a leash that startled my dogs. They did bark and would not listen. The big dog did go back when called but my dogs were already flustered. Other then that it was comfortable and the cabin was clean

We were moving with 3 dogs thought staying in a cabin would be better. Booked with Jacob and he was so nice. He told us if we needed a late checkout it wouldn't be a problem. We booked 2 nights didn't make it for the first due to packing issues but made it for the 2nd. Checked out at 1:00 and Nancy charged us for late checkout.. We paid $207.43 for 14 hours in a cabin. NEVER AGAIN WITH KOA!

We were not notified that you were not coming the first night. You were canceled no show and charged only for that night. You then made a new reservation we do allow late checkout which normally means 1 hour, at 2:50 you were still on park 3 hours late with guests set to arrive as early as 1pm

Quiet campground, and friendly desk staff. A second light besides overhead would be helpful. And perhaps a second outlet.

I have not considered a second light in our cabins but I will look into that. The cabins come prewired when they arrive but when I speck out new cabins I will look into it.

Wi-Fi for Kabin 5 was sorely lacking. Was able to get on intermittently and EXTREMELY slow. Need better/closer/stronger hot spots. Young man in office not very helpful pretty much didn't believe me when I told him the error message said the router needed to be reset. Finally reset but his answer to ongoing issues was to say that it must be my device. Didn't offer to get an adult/owner to help me.

The wifi is monitored constantly, our routers are not able to just be reset as this shuts down the entire system including our office. If no other devices is have issues it could be your device.

The staff were friendly and the facility was clean BUT the bathroom was TOO cramped and the shower spaces were way too small!! It was NOT geared to accommodate the "CHUNKY" (my catogory) or handicapped.

There is a handicap restroom with shower around the corner from the normal restrooms. It is shown on the sheet given out at check in, or ask any staff member.

Cabin was fine, I wish they had half baths like other KOAs. All dirt and gravel, needs to have some grass. The wind blew hard all evening and night, gravel & dirt flying all around. No pool, it has been filled in with concrete.

Unfortunately we are located in a desert and have very little grass in the area, also the city is under a sever water restriction and we are only allowed to water 20 min a week. The water restriction is why the splash pad is closed.

3k mile roadtrip and we stayed at all KOA's, This was my least favorite. Pretty run down, nothing like the others at all. The store was sparse and lacked pricing on gift items. Our cabin was nice, had a fridge, but the grounds were shabby. Best part was the Penitentiary Museum tour in town. Decent enough if you're passing through and need a bed, other than that I'd drive a little further.

The hosts were amazing and helped us adjust our reservation when we had a last minute need to change. The bathrooms were very clean and bright, and the playground and dog park were perfect for our kids and dogs! Cabin was clean, tent sites were well maintained but pretty close to each other- watch out for the Wyoming wind! Host family is kind and genuine! Thanks for a great stay!

The mosquito's live here. Be mindful, wear plenty of clothes when outside. Otherwise everything was very nice, friendly staff, Kids park, dog park, restrooms, separate private shower rooms. Our site was level. Just did an overnight. Many bites, still Grateful for this convenient and safe location. Would stay again.

We stopped here for the night. Check-in was easy, and they email you prior to your stay so you are kept informed. The staff was really nice. It is a gravel drive, and sites are also gravel. There is a green area where your picnic table is located. Bathrooms are really clean. They have a splash pad for the kids and a nice play area. There is a nice pet area as well. The tent sites are very nice. The location is right off the frontage road, and the highway noise is loud. There are apartments that back up to the campground by the tent sites. The RV sites are nice, and you have plenty of room for your slides. We had a Pull Thru site and we only used the electric. The campground is very quiet. This was a great stop, and we will stop here again.

Really cute cabin. Staff was very nice and friendly. Only issue was highway noise. Fan helped to drown that out.
