Good for a quick layover from (I - 80) not so good is they apartment building looking over the tent sites. Recommend to plant trees for privacy around the perimeter.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There is a power line above the row of hedges we currently have to block the apartments. The power company will not let us plant trees back there and cut a big part out of the one we have. We are hoping the hedges do grow more.

Wide-open and pretty with a beautiful sunset. The price was good. I would have given 5 stars but the place was very windy which made popping down in our pop up challenging. I understand Wyoming is windy- and this is not the fault of the KOA but it impacted my experience. There was much more wind here than we had experienced over the prior week in the state.

Thank you for the kind words and I fully understand your issue. We are almost 7k ft elevation and on the continental divide with nothing to block the wind. It can be very bad at times and I hate you were here when it was.

Right next to busy freeway. Gravel unlevel spaces. Very few trees and very windy.

We are in the high desert of Wyoming it is windy at almost 7k feet elevation. We have planted a lot of trees and you can see them up near the main road. we hope these will help with noise as they grow but this takes time. The sites we are working on but we are on a mountain.

Everything worked. Young man I dealt with was very nice. Feel that the grounds have been let go. Camp K9 was weeds and dirt as was most of the grounds.

We are in the desert and this is the natural vegetation for our area. We are working to control what we can in the areas.

The sites could be taken care of better, lots of weeds. Rawlings is a nice little town, has a Walmart on the east side if you need anything. We only stayed one night, the owners we very friendly, just think they could look after the place and make it look nicer.

We have 2 hours a day between checkout and arrivals to get everything outside done. when people leave late or try to arrive early it is cut even further. We can not cut grass near any guests because of damage possibilities. We do our best and constantly are trying to improve.

Clean and convenient to the highway with friendly staff. Great for a quick in-and-out. The only problem we had is there are very large rocks on the corners of the pull-in, and when you’re coming in late and it’s pitch dark, you can’t see them. We got hung up on one, and it got stuck between our jack and our tire. It took a hour to get out; did considerable damage. Just an FYI to keep a look

Unfortunately, we use natural items that are native to this area to help protect our infrastructure. These boulders keep vehicles and RVs on the roads and out of areas where people can be. This is for the safety of all our guests.

It was pretty dilapidated. All the hookups worked , but it was weedy, dusty, and looked broken down.

Easy check-in, online. After hours instructions outside the office door. Cabin was nice/clean. The restrooms were locked. So, we had to use the unisex bathroom/shower which only had one stall. That was a tad inconvenient. But, not major. It would have been nice to have a the wall outlet close to the beds; maybe by the bench. Overall, a good stay.

Clean but very un kept. Needs sights to be weeded along with dog park and watered. Grass around office but not in dog area.

If the city allows we plan to water the dog park starting next year. we are only allowed so much water for such things as we are in a desert.

Restroom and shower facilities are excellent. No pool to use, and almost no trees so kind of a plain park. Nice people, keep working to upgrade the facilities

we planted almost 100 trees in the last 3 years. give them time. We also want to remove the filled in pool and start it back up but this takes a lot of time.

the people that work there were very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. We ordered pizza and they brought it to our site nice and hot. The area is windy sometimes and a lot of dust but that's just how it is in that area. Very easy on/off the highway, will definitely stay on our next trip out west

Nice site with well functioning hookups. Staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't feel like cooking after a long day, so I ordered a pizza which was delivered to my site. I would definitely stay again. I used the bathroom and shower facilities the next morning and they were clean and efficient.

We ordered pizza, it was not done in the middle, brought it back and it was put back in the oven for a couple of minutes and was still not cooked all the way. There was no toilet paper in one of the stalls in the women's bathroom. One of the showers had no shower curtain.

The shower with no curtain was marked out of order as we just did repairs on the pan and it requires 24 hours without use to dry. We did change brands of pizza because we had this complaint by other guests I do apologize and we would have refunded full price if you told us the problem continued.

Not my favorite KOA. Super close to the highway which could be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. Sites aren’t very level and the kids running the counter can be confusing to talk to. The bathrooms are very clean. Showers are separate and centralized , which I don’t like. The splash pad hours are really weird and it doesn’t start until 4, which should be earlier.

For a quick stop off the road from a long day travel it is great. But it is a very basic KOA, the splash pad was off and there is only a little place for the kids to play. Staff was friendly and they do offer pizza at check in.. that was nice!

Jacob is awesome. we had planned to stay here last Wednesday and a previous guest ruined the kabin. Listen to the highly professional way he handled other guests trashing a cabin leaving us with nowhere to stay. Jacob called us hours ahead of when we were supposed to arrive and called a hotel himself and drove there and paid for the room. Thank you so much!! We are staying now on our return trip and it is great!

Good place to spend the night if you're on a road trip. Awesome people, clean camping area, don't use your awning though, tends to be a bit windy.
