Convenient location. The rv dump station was out of order and so I had to pay to dump elsewhere adding to my expense for tge night.

Really polished up since our last visit. Lots of work by the staff. Clean bathrooms, seamless after hours check-in.

Disappointed on this visit. No one available to fill my propane tank on arrival. Very short site that barely fit my 35’ coach and toad while dozens of longer sites were empty . Had problems with WiFi. Called office at 5:03- they were closed

Beautiful sunrise! Campground is much better appreciated in daylight. We arrived late in the evening and had some difficulty finding our tent site - black letter and number on brown colored fence. Gravel surface was comfy and easy to pish my stakes in.

Rundown, junky, ill-kept, disinterested staff, overgrown mess of a KampK9, very unlevel sites. The worst KOA we have ever stayed at in 7 years of RVing. How they have managed to keep the franchise is beyond us. We thought it couldn’t be so awful as we were only staying for one night. We were wrong.

Showers and rest rooms were clean as advertised. The grounds look tough but with the water restrictions and drought that is to be expected. Very friendly and competent staff.

Asked on the phone if they had cable. They said they had high speed internet instead. That made it seem that you could stream on your television . Their internet wouldn't connect to the television. I have stayed at 2 other KOA'S in the last 5 days and have streamed at both of them. We would have stayed at a different park if we had known the truth.

Great overnight stay to avoid a storm. Very friendly staff. Checked in after hours without reservation. Their after hours system showed a site that was available but someone was in it, so we had to grab a different site. Other than that is was perfect for our needs. Wifi was strong enough for our remote work and Verizon was strong enough as well. Easy access on and off the interstate.

New owners as of 2020. I think the place was pretty run down when the new owners bought it. Improvements are being made. Lots of sites now have an L-shaped privacy fence on a concrete slab. Nice patio furniture. Ours also had two new lounge chairs and a fire pit. Adjacent to I-80. Great for an overnight stop or two. I think by next year this place will look quite nice. Enjoyed our stay.

Plain and simple. No fuss. Our stay was in October, almost end of season. Hookups were in good shape. Quiet mostly. Some road noise from the roadway. Can’t recall if the KOA requisite train horn was heard. LOL

It was so difficult to walk from the RV to the shower/restroom that one of us was not able to get there. Walking with a cane or walker to your facilities is not easy and spot number one was a long way away. Closer would have been so much better.

Nice laundry facility and office. Other than that pretty poor facility. Poorly maintained and way too many permanent “campers”. Lots of junky vehicles and broken down items laying around. We won’t be back or recommend this KOA to anyone else.

Loved the pavilion as it rained almost non stop on my trip. A place to get out of the rain and wind as I was tenting. Nice clean, warm bathrooms and friendly staff.

the host and his family were amazingly welcoming and helpful! Cleanest bathrooms around but I like paper towels not air blowers, that is just a personal preference. Like many in town campgrounds the sites are very close but tidy and maintained. Great playgound for littles. For tent campers it has a campers kitchen area with sinks to clean up; So appreciated!

The owners are very nice and the facility is fine except they aren't allowed to water due to the drought in the West, so through no fault of the owners, the campground itself is very dry.

This was a quick overnight stay. The sites were tight and be sure to bring extra sewer hoses. Each site had a nice picnic table. The site we had needs to be scraped to level the walking area of shrubbery. It was very convenient to the highway and Walmart.

Only stayed one night on our way home. We arrived after office hours, but information and a map to our site were left out for us. The turn to our camp site was a little bit hidden, so we missed it our first time through the park, but found it with out too much trouble. Facilities were clean, so no complaints there.

We travel with dogs. Although the Rawlins KOA claims to be dog friendly it has no amenities for dogs, particularly small dogs. Kamp K9 is an enclosed pen of dirt and rocks. There is no grass on the property. Instead of a warm welcome on arrival they tell you to “clean after your pet.” (We always do.) To be fair it’s an OK place for non-pet travelers looking for an overnight stay.

Arrived late - no biggie registering. Dump station out of order - my main reason this getting to this location. Intended to ask if I could use a sewer hookup site - but office not open until 9 AM. Needed to be on the road! Should receive a discount for lack of service.

We pulled in at 1130 hrs.Spoke to the office staff.They told us to leave the RV in the driveway and wait until 1300 hrs to check in.We had reserved a spot the day before online.The office closed at 1700 hrs. No help or contact any other time. Spaces and hookups were fine.We have enjoyed KOA parks for years but will not return to Rawlins.

The mosquito's live here. Be mindful, wear plenty of clothes when outside. Otherwise everything was very nice, friendly staff, Kids park, dog park, restrooms, separate private shower rooms. Our site was level. Just did an overnight. Many bites, still Grateful for this convenient and safe location. Would stay again.

We stopped here for the night. Check-in was easy, and they email you prior to your stay so you are kept informed. The staff was really nice. It is a gravel drive, and sites are also gravel. There is a green area where your picnic table is located. Bathrooms are really clean. They have a splash pad for the kids and a nice play area. There is a nice pet area as well. The tent sites are very nice. The location is right off the frontage road, and the highway noise is loud. There are apartments that back up to the campground by the tent sites. The RV sites are nice, and you have plenty of room for your slides. We had a Pull Thru site and we only used the electric. The campground is very quiet. This was a great stop, and we will stop here again.

Really cute cabin. Staff was very nice and friendly. Only issue was highway noise. Fan helped to drown that out.
