Very disappointed in this KOA. Staff was great, but the campground is horrible! The whole campground is nothing but dirt. The worst KOA we have ever stayed in. Definitely not worth the $65!

The new owners have discounted leading RVs to their campsite with a golf cart. Hence, the rig prior to us and us were routed down the same road - in opposite directions!! I haven't heard such cussing from the other couple since high school! And...there was a huge fire in town one night with ash blowing our way. Not one yellow shirt showed up to reassure us or tell us how to safely leave if needed

Your stay was back in July was under previous ownership. New Owners have since taken over as of August 1st.

The campground is 2 months under new management and you can already see improvements being made. Would stay again in future because it can only get better. Easy access from freeway, nice patio spots for big rigs.

Very nice facilities and very friendly staff, I would highly recommend if you are in the Rawlins Wyoming area and need a Campground to spend a night or 2 or 3!!

Very good for an overnight. The park is under new ownership and plans to make improvements. As we set up our rig a deer wandered up to my wife and was very sweet

This was the second time we stayed here on our way to Grand Teton NP. We will probably stay there again on our way back home.

Overnight stay only. Bathrooms were clean but a little old. The showers were tiny and not well maintained. Would love to see 50 amp service.

On the afternoon of 09/07/2024 we learned that eastbound I-80 at Rawlins, WY, was closed and would remain closed for several hours due to a traffic crash and resulting fire. We had stayed at the Rawlins KOA previously and contacted their office. As in the past, Kevin, the new owner was very helpful and a spot was open. He is working very hard to improve the campground.

as these are new owners I feel they are trying to improve. the staff were friendly there was alot of merchandise to shop the showers were clean but maybe could get a facelift. the grounds are quite bare but the sites are spacious. a little landscaping will go a long way. again new owners and I felt they were eager to do updates. I would stay here again

The owner is very nice man. Store is very nice and well-stocked. A nice place for its location (Rawlins isn’t a garden spot). It’s very close to I80 so hear traffic all night long, but we knew that when we booked it. Would do an overnight again.

So it says has possibilities. Our thought is take care of what you can and clean bathrooms and showers are basic. Truck stops are usually better than this was. The showers were under construction but there was little to no activity around them fixing them or cleaning them. The laundry room was clean and well equipped. The sites were ok. The road noise might bother folks it’s not quiet.

This KOA is under new ownership. The new owners are very invested in making it a better KOA than it already is. Other than the wind (which, of course, is out of everyone's control) the site was welcoming with a wind break and a small concrete patio on which sat chairs and a table in new condition.

While the campground needs some improvements, you can see the new owners are working to get it done. Checked in early due to wind storm coming. Owner waived fee and were excellent to work with. Wish them best of luck and success.

The camp ground itself was a rough and requires some work and upgrades. The new owners were what made it so great. They are wonderful and most accomodating to help you out with your needs.

This facility is full of highway noise all night long. It is too convienant to the interstate. There are new owners working on improving the campground which is commendable but it needs a noise barrrier

We were only there one night. Our site was next to a busy highway. There are no amenities, although I believe the KOA has new owners and plans to make improvements.

We were able to sleep. Staff did not seem to want to be bothered with anyone. 4 people standing at the desk, i eventually walked out and found someone else outside. Showers are very small. Good enough for a quick overnight stay I suppose.

Second time staying here and will return when I"m next in the area. Clean, Quiet, Convenient. I especially like their camp kitchen setup.

The sites were tight with a very small patio and privacy fence. I had a difficult time getting out with my 38 foot 5th wheel. There was a sharp left turn that was nearly impossible to maneuver. I will not return!

To be a Journey KOA next to the Interstate, this rates higher than some Holiday parks we have been! Pride is very much a concern of the owners; well kept, clean, spacious, lots of unique antiques around for personality :) & staff very welcoming! If you have furbabies, a variety of choices for potty/play time; fenced in grass OR astro-turf & there are areas on the border for walking. A+++++++

This was a great place to stay. The owners are very nice. We had an alignment issue and got someone in town to fix it so we could get back on the road. Our site was big enough for our 46' fifth wheel and we could park the HDT sideways if we didn't pull all the way forward. Affordable laundry and a dog park. Didn't use the other facilities. It was very windy, but that is Wyoming!

It was a great stop, pulled in late night and had an easy check in. Bathroom clean only compliant is the electric plug in tent site is too far from parking spot for car camping. It is on the far side of spot and a barrier in the way.

It was right off I80 when we needed it. Not much else to say. Gravel parking lot basically (its Wyoming so I don't expect green grass but yikes they were packed together like sardines) and quite a lot of highway noise. The showers were tiny but looked like they had recently been renovated. It was also quite windy (again, Wyoming) not unexpected and not really a problem while we were there but something to be aware of. Like everyone there we stayed one night and left at dawn.
