Overnight tent camp. Nothing special. Just a place to sleep. Place was clean though! I’d stay for a while if i didn’t need to move on.

A superb experience. Above and beyond my expectations. And at an affordable price. The absolute best KOA I have experienced in the past 4 years. The absolute best KOA in the US in my experience. Best service, best price, outstanding. The only KOA and only KOA I would recommend staying at.

We came in late, but our reservation was ready and waiting for us. As always, the bathrooms were sparkling clean and easily accessible for us. We stayed in our vehicle instead of pitching a tent. We had to leave early -- wish we could've at least said hello. This is our favorite KOA. Thank you for a quiet, peaceful, quick and safe visit!

Friendly staff and clean facilities. Don't miss the KT boundary but get a permit from the City first. It's a rock layer where the meteor hit that killed the big dinosaurs 65 million years ago.

A wonderful KOA. I want to say it was Angel who was at the front desk. I'm not sure if that was his name, but he was super helpful and kind. Everything was clean, friendly and safe. It really made me wonder why I didn't stay at more KOA's on this latest road trip. Excellent place!

Small, but convenient. Angel at the front desk was great.

Always dependable. This stop for the night works well for us

They were doing renovations so a bunch of stuff wasn’t available. ..should have been a discount for that! Also, roads near were frequented by very loud engine noise as a couple of vehicles including a motorcycle seemed to enjoy doing noisy loops around that block

February one-niter on cross country trip. Easy to find, easy late check-in, great flat site. Despite being in town, very quiet, and other campers present were very respectful and quiet -- had a great rest!

Super friendly staff! Very clean restrooms and area was easy to navigate. I checked in later in the evening, almost dusk, and they offered to drive me to the site and put me close to the restrooms. Wifi, hot showers and also dog friendly areas (1 off leash, 1 dog run). Everything you need for a quick overnight stay!

The associate at the desk in the office was very pleasant and demonstrated professional qualities to me. The restroom was clean & easily accessible for me. I appreciated the plastic barrel provided to receive used aluminum cans. I enjoyed my overnight stay at Raton, NM KOA.

Traveling back home from Idaho into Texas has been an eye opener amazing experience staying at KOA Camping grounds. Felt relaxed, comfortable and safe. All the amenities for the price for my budget. Thanks for providing travlers a clean safe place to stay.

A quiet spot near the northeast NM/CO border. Stayed here end of Mar 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. Dirt pad. Site #15 General: 1) Peaceful place. 2) Close to Taos and a few other interesting spots. 3) Some sites have shared connection areas Campground WiFi: Worked pretty well. Cell/hotspot using booster: AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Cell/hotspot using booster: Verizon (3 of 4 bars, sometimes 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Details: Check-in: Normal KOA checkin at office. Simple and easy. Sites: Dirt/ gravel pad. Fairly spacious sites. Site 19: Was not our site but we noticed that the patio side connects directly to laundry and restrooms, so folks seem to forget their manners and cut through that site's patio spot. Campground Road: Dirt road but not bumpy. Grounds: Clean. Bathrooms/Showers: Very clean and well-maintained. Laundry: Worked well. 4 washers. 4 dryers. Washers were a touch smaller than normal, if that is of a concern to you. Location: Gas 3 min from entrance. Restaurants are about 5 min away. Restaurants—Alfonso's: I had never tried gas station tacos/burritos until this location and they were pretty darn good. Similar experience to having a McDonalds/Taco Bell/etc at a gas stop. Near highway: Yes. Close but cannot hear the interstate. The KOA is directly off of a main road so there is a touch noise during the day. Near train: Not that I recall.

Easily the best KOA I've ever been to. We stayed in the little log cabins and they were amazing. Memory foam mattresses, a good quality heater that actually warms the cabin properly, and the staff made sure to have it running for us before we got there. You will not go wrong renting a cabin here, worth every penny.
