KOARaton is in a perfect location for an overnight stay on your way north to the Rockies or south to Santa Fe. The office staff was very kind and friendly. Although the sites were small and narrow gravel the park was clean and quiet, which is very important to us. Thank you.

Plenty of potential for tourism but it rained so our plans were limited. One site in from the road, so some noise, but it was a nice large site.

Staff was very friendly and it was very quiet during our stay. The facilities are very dated and need some serious updating. But they were clean.

A very relaxing & comfortable stay. The hosts were most helpful & always responsive & kind. My dash was indicating that there was a problem with tire pressure. I needed air in both front tires. Taking extra time, Grant managed adding air for me. So very kind. Thank you to

Super friendly helpful host! Older campground, with great retro summer camp vibe! Nice fellow campers, a few long term, quiet at night. Everything taken care of, landscaping, small dog area, clean bathroom/showers. Easy level pull throughs, no need to unhook if just overnight. Would also be a comfortable home-base to explore the area. We'll be back when we are in the area again!

The only problem that we had was that Google tried to send us down the alley off of Kerney Ave to your entrance, instead of the one on 2nd St. I'm not sure if you can do anything about it but you might want to try

We enjoyed our stay at Raton KOA, We had a hard drive from Breckenridge CO snow ���, rain �� and wind the entire day. We arrived very tired and ready to relax. Check in was very easy and the host was very nice and supportive.

It is an older place which needs a little bit more upkeep. Owners were friendly and the place is close to the great golf course where we played. Restaurants are close by.

A year later, and we’re still just as impressed with the Raton, NM KOA! This was our second stay, and once again, everything was wonderful! This year, we brought the family along, and we really appreciated how accommodating they were in placing my in-laws’ camper so close to our cabin. Felt like we were put in a hole. The worst back in spitvwe have even had...if we'd have known what it was like, we'd NEVER have made reservations. Best asj what tge sure is like before yiu stay here. Not happy campers!

Our greeting at reception was friendly and accommodating, our site was clean and easy to pull through, bathrooms were clean, and Lisa was kind enough to allow a late check out the following day which made that day so much easier.

My KOA Kabin was comfortable with lots of room for parking, and a picnic table and grill outdoors. Clean showers and laundry. Nice friendly staff. This campground is quiet and has a nice set of amenities. Convenient location.

The clerk was really helpful, but the property wasn't in very good shape. Tall weeds at the entrance, the property was very dusty, landscaping was poor.

Always a great experience. This is our 5th time here and easy check-in, pull-thru site. Sites are level and everything works the way it should. Facilities are clean, and warm (it was chilly last night). We'll definitely be back.

We were just there overnight in pouring rain, but the owner meet us and was very nice, got us into a spot nice and easy and we had a really good night sleep before the morning drive.. few mins from highway BUT very quite.. site looked we maintained and clean, dog area was fenced in as well as a nice walking area for dogs.. we will be staying again on way back, hopefully in the dry this time

The owners are wonderful and maintain the RV park very well. I love using the express check-in email that they send out. Have stayed here twice on our way to and from Colorado. Nice dog park!

When I first moved to Raton I came here. It was clean and safe. (2019) Prices were great. I had high regards for the family home product they offered... Later in 2024 and 2025 I came to use their propane services. This is now...Again I have only the highest regard for their services. The prices are competitive- but the service is above royal- get your gas here!!! You won't be wrong! In 2026 I have been here to buy gas 11 times. I almost each time, donate to the koa kids camp.( A reflection of my opinion). My service is and has been stellular all 11 times. And their propane prices are low, if you buy at super save or a gas station in town. They will beat those prices!
