It's hard to believe all the positive comments about this Park! This KOA should NOT even be named a KOA! Lousy, Poorly maintained Park! Major ELECTRICAL CODE violations on the Power Hookups. Very Dangerous and UNSAFE! Don't Plan on taking a Shower in your RV, Pressure is so low, you will be lucky to flush your toilet! WE won't be back. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS KOA!

The place is very clean and organized. Management is responsive. It has a vintage feel. I love that it’s set back from the street. Ration is a bit noisy with the interstate, train, and helicopters (hospital), but the park can’t control that. I would stay here again and we might on our way back.

We enjoyed our 2 nights in Raton. The front office manager and staff were so funny and helpful. Park is quiet, clean and in town location was great.

Friendly staff when we called after 4 for a spot. Paperwork was waiting in the after hours bin, and site was easy to find. Bathrooms were old, but clean. One paper towel dispenser was not dispensing, although full. Good place to stop on your way through Raton!

We were very surprised at how nice the campground was. We will very likely stay there again. Our only complaints were the lack of toilet paper and paper towels in the men's shower and toilet area on our last day there.

The ranger/mgr was very accommodating. He was very friendly and professional. The park served our purpose of an overnight stay while traveling. I wouldn’t recommend it for longer stays because there were no amenities.

We had a hard day of travel. Called after office was closed. They had a spot long enough for us. Not 50 amp but we did not care. We were greeted cheerfully. He gave us information on Where to fix our tire in the morning. Site was fine but super close to the wash house, our dog barked at everyone until we closed the shades. Dog run was nice size and clean. The camp was quiet. We were glad we came

Bathrooms. No toilet paper in stall nr 1. Stall nr 2 toilet plugged no plunger. Cost of a site should be about $21.00. Not the $60.03

Quick overnight stay. It was a rainy day but the campground was easily accessible and the roads in the campground were good. Nice, clean restrooms. Nice green space for walking the dog.

We had to make an unexpected stop here due to our vehicle breaking down. I called and booked a spot anticipating late check in. The gentlemen was helpful and gave me instructions to get to my site after hours. Had a nice, peaceful stay and was able to get back on the road.

Good, quiet campground. Needs some updating, but the staff was very nice. The bathrooms were older, but clean. A little more gravel in the site would’ve been nice. I would still stay here again for the friendly staff and the location.

Excellent over the phone service to book a camp site, same day. (Was in area without great internet.). Good instructions on checking in after hours and very easy process. Great location! Clean restrooms and showers with latches on the door & locking exterior door.. seems basic, but surprising that most places don’t have that.

Site was nice and level with easy in and out. Staff was friendly and professional. Only issue we had was a very bad smell to the water, we did not feel comfortable drinking it.

Site was fine. It backed up to a pasture so no noise. Laundry room was excellent. One suggestion is to put up some way to hang up clothes on hangers as they come out of dryer. The shower room was hot with not even a fan to circulate air. No toilet paper in the one I used. Just really needs an update.

The showers were clean and adequate. However, there was trash left on the grill stand from the previous guests, dog park was full of weeds and needed maintenance so we decided not to use it, and the camp store had very odd hours. We arrived at check in time (12 noon) and they were closed. Our reservation info was in the after hours box. Our experience was just ok.

I've stayed at this KOA multiple times. Easy in and out. Restrooms and laundry are quite nice. Not a garden spot as far as landscaping but quite adequate if you are passing thru!

Second time staying in the cabins and deeply appreciate how clean they are! The restrooms are very close - traveling alone with kids - it's very safe, and my favorite: very clean! Quiet, nice little dog park, my kids think the covered wagon in the playground is the coolest thing lol :) Cabin amenities were top notch. Always enjoy our stay here.
