Stayed for a week. Very nice park. Very clean. Staff are friendly, helpful and pleasant. The park has a nice little play ground area, dog park and long and wide sites.

The Raton KOA is a very nice and friendly. We found it very clean and easy access. I would highly recommend this RV camp ground.

Only have stayed here while passing through. Basic facilities. Close to gas, food, and highway. Quiet. Will use them again.

This is a pretty basic KOA campground. We found it to be very quiet (far from highway) and the host was very kind and helpful. This is a very convenient location when traveling from Colorado down to the southwest. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We often choose to pay extra to stay at a KOA for the safety and security it often is associated with. This location has a public access road that goes directly through the site (nearly got hit by a speeding car while walking our dog) and we had aggressive knocking on our camper door by jahovahs witnesses at 8:40PM. I guess soliciting is allowed at this location? Pretty upset about our experience.

I liked the employee working the office. Very friendly, caring, courteous, helpful with my questions. Happy to find a "journey" campground, as it fits our needs best.

Arrived late picked up package had a good evening, easy in and easy out. Quiet all hookups worked fine. I will stay again next time I pass through. Thanks.

All in all was fine. However the dog park poop can has very full and clearly had not been emptied in a long time. One of the managemen was walking by while we were in the K-9 park and asked how we were doing. "All good, but can needs emptying" and the response was that it will be addressed . The following day it was still full. This really distracts from an otherwise nice KOA Journey.

Level sites. Clean laundry room. Mule deer come thru everyday. Good place to stop over for a night or two.

The campground was upgrading, which is always good to see. There were no inconveniences because of this. They were very friendly and it was a well needed night of rest at a comfortable, safe environment.

The location is good if you are in the area. There is no traffic noise to interrupt your sleep. It appears that only a third of the campground is in use, and the restroom/shower facilities in the main area is closed. The men's bathroom in the office building is filthy and short soap and toilet paper. The desk clerk is a friendly fellow, but I'm wondering how attentive he is.

We only stayed overnight but the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The campground is mostly gravel but level and the sites are all pull thru. Also very convenient to I-25 and the town of Raton. There is a nice restaurant within walking distance called K-bobs barbecue. I will definitely stay again

Raton KOA is always are first and last campsite when we are starting off on trips from Denver either to the SE or SW. it’s the perfect length to drive from Denver pulling our trailer. Far enough off the highway to be quiet. Close to a grocery and hardware store in case there are last minute things we need to pick up.

I have stayed at several KOA campgrounds. While some are more “fancy” I found this one in Raton to have everything I needed all in good working order and clean. I was greeted with an efficient and friendly check in, which is nice after spending hours on the road, and the stay was pleasant, and quiet too. The location is great too

Will definitely stay at again. The host was very friendly and helpful. We saw deer in the morning which was cool. Only problem was most of the trash cans were full and there was no bags available for dog waste. Dog poop everywhere. From people not picking up. If bags available maybe they would. Who knows. Great place to stay though. Nice quiet and easy to get in and out of.

Was a good transition stop heading back to Denver. Town was pretty sleepy and seemed pretty dead. Campground was fine and bathrooms were clean.

Stayed for the night while traveling thru. Nice clean park, easily located off the interstate. Friendly staff. THis is my 2nd time being here, both times I called without prior reservations and got in easily.

We were looking for a weekend get away not far from home. We decided to go to Raton, as we've never been to that part of the state. The area was beautiful. The campground was far enough away from the middle of town, but close enough that stores and restaurants were within easy walking distance. The campground was well maintained, the hosts very friendly and helpful.

Really appreciated the open communication from the staff at this place. The gentlemen I spoke to several times were always helpful, and even helped facilitate delivery of an important item to me. I really appreciate them and I will be back later this year most likely if not next year.

Even though we feel this campground is over-priced, we have stayed at Raton KOA multiple times because it is an easy stop when we travel from Colorado Springs to Texas.

Raton KOA was an excellent overnight sopt for us. The office staff was not present when we checked in but the self-check was straight forward and easy to follow. The site was level and all utilities worked with no issues. Any needed services were within minutes of the campground.

I've stayed at this KOA multiple times. Easy in and out. Restrooms and laundry are quite nice. Not a garden spot as far as landscaping but quite adequate if you are passing thru!

Second time staying in the cabins and deeply appreciate how clean they are! The restrooms are very close - traveling alone with kids - it's very safe, and my favorite: very clean! Quiet, nice little dog park, my kids think the covered wagon in the playground is the coolest thing lol :) Cabin amenities were top notch. Always enjoy our stay here.
