A perfect rest stop between central Texas & northern CO. Unfortunately, the mosquitos were out of control on the south side tree line (spot L), upon my return July 4. Hopefully they can get them dealt with, as I wasn’t the only camper complaining.

We had a very nice overnight stay at the Raton KOA. We were there on July 4th so the fireworks blasted well into the night but otherwise it was very pleasant. The KOA staff greeted us and gave some insights about the park and area, and he handled a little snafu with our credit card without any trouble. I would stay at Raton KOA again.

This is a very clean KOA campground. The customer service was impeccable. The spade between sites was larger than many KOA’s I’ve stayed at. The playground was well maintained with a large grassy area near by. Overall, if you are looking for a clean, safe, and family friendly campground, this fits the bill.

KOA was easy to find, clean bathrooms and laundry. I used the laundry and it was very easy to use. We met some very nice people and the owner was very good to us. we had a problem with our rig and he let us stay an extra night so we could get it fixed.

Manager was nice very friendly. Liked the grass around the park for your pets to walk on this was a stop on the way to our big three week trip. I recommend nice and clean.

It is a quiet park and the utilities worked fine. We did not use the bathrooms or laundry. The sites were a bit tight. The park could use a little tlc. But over all good for one night.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The laundry room was very nice. The office was well stocked with supplies. The bathrooms were in need of some cleaning. My only real negative was the weeds were high and it needed to be mowed.

A convenient place to stay along I-25. A basic Journey location. Large sites. No problem with our 42 ft motorhome. Gravel. Utilities are fine. People we interacted with were pleasant. A plus is their digital cable and 5G internet/wifi...better than many Holiday locations. We stayed 2 days and explored the area.

We stay here twice a year. We live in Arizona and have family in Nebraska & Canada,so when the temperature starts going up we head North. This is always one of our stops going both ways. They have always accommodated us. One of our favorite stop. Thank you.

The site was level and of good size. The fact that the mountains are right there is a real plus. We really enjoyed our stay. Oh,and the deer there next to the campground made a connection to nature.

I pay more at KOA because I expect more, we didn’t get that. Apparently the place has only 1 employee and he is part time. Trash was overflowing, sites need maintenance, of the 4 KOA’s we stayed at on this trip this was by far the worst campground.

Needs to be updated needs a pool and hot tub. Not much to do for children. Paved sites T least a few. Raining a lot. Huge mud puddles. Some campers had a huge puddle right In front of there door

My lot was very wet from rain and inferior drainage, but someone else was parked in it. The driest of the available sites was a swamp. I had to endure several inches of water next to my steps. It was a wet muddy experience

Great place to stay on our way through from Albuquerque to Dodge City. Despite the heavy rain we had a very nice evening topped off with a beautiful rainbow. Thank you Grant

Clean with easy access. The owner was working when we checked in on Sunday. And he was very helpful with cable access. But the wifi worked extremely well too. Raton seems like an interesting town that could be worth exploring. Some of the tenants were a little noisy that night but no real issues. This was our 2nd KOA in NM. Pleased with both.

It was perfect for my overnight stay, and would be a good place if I wanted to spend more time in the area. My site was level and easy-in easy-out. Grant was very nice and accommodating.

We stayed in Raton KOA at the beginning and end of our trip. Beginning, it was great and clean. End, it was busy (cars driving through the campsite next to us many times and the Rayzor/cart driving around until almost 11:00 pm) and the men's bathroom not flushing/dirty toilets.

I've stayed at this KOA multiple times. Easy in and out. Restrooms and laundry are quite nice. Not a garden spot as far as landscaping but quite adequate if you are passing thru!

Second time staying in the cabins and deeply appreciate how clean they are! The restrooms are very close - traveling alone with kids - it's very safe, and my favorite: very clean! Quiet, nice little dog park, my kids think the covered wagon in the playground is the coolest thing lol :) Cabin amenities were top notch. Always enjoy our stay here.
