Clean, quiet and convenient. Laundry room was under construction and there is no game room as advertized. Listing needs to be updated to reflect these edits for the time being. Friendly and helpful host.

Always like staying here but gravel on driveways would have helped since recent snow melted and it was very muddy.

We arrived super late but the campground was well lit and the spots are spacious and easy to park. Gary was super welcoming and an amazing host! We took advantage of some of his local recommendations and couldn’t be happier! We are looking forward to our next visit!!!

We've stayed at Raton KOA several times and have always found it to be clean and comfortable. Great showers... once the hot water works its way into the shower room from some distant land!! We'll continue our regular visits to Raton KOA... the internet connection was great - that's getting to be a rarity at KOAs.

* A gravel mud pit, large pot holes- certainly been holes for months. Puddles of water in sites, yes was after a snow storm but their was very poor drainage. Staff was not in office at check-in, sign said 'out on property', was about 3pm that was fine checkin papers were in outdoor box. We saw the staff member while parking but he did not engage us,,, a little wave would have been enough.

Clean campground in a safe area of Raton that is close to everything. Super friendly host. Nice dog run. Facilities are spotless. We will definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at the Koa in Raton twice this week due to weather. The first stay went well the second stay was difficult. The pull in into the grounds was snow plowed but the site was snow packed. We had to drive twice around to attempt to plow down the snow. It was icy and dangerous attempting to hook up our rv. If the front check in area was plowed why not plow the rv site?

Great place to stay when you are on the road. We have stayed here many times during our winter treks to Arizona. Easy to get into and out of. Good cable and WiFi. No issues. Will stay there again on way back home!

Stopped for the night after long days drive. Pleasantly surprised at this park. It was dated, yet spotlessly clean! The gentleman that checked us in was very kind, helpful and full of suggestions on highlights of the area. The park was quiet, yet nearly full by evening! Laundry room and rest room were very clean and nice. We will be back!

He told us about a high wind warning, which was accurate. Let take a binder back to the RV do we could read about the area. Very pleasant stay!

It was clean and easy to access as a stop to another destination. I didn't see much to do there, but it was a good place to stop for a night or two. The office workers were very friendly, the shower was hot, and the bathroom was clean, which is exactly what we needed when we got in late after a day of traveling.

This KOA is our stop between Colorado Springs and Albuquerque. We have always found it clean, easy access and the staff has always been friendly and very accommodating.

Okay stop for a night or two. Very tired looking for a KOA. Needs some grading and about 25 loads of stone to correct low spots and create proper drainage. Bath house/restrooms need updated. Needs work and some painting.

The small town atmosphere and fellow campers resulted in a restful stay/nights sleep that we appreciated as traveling can be tiring and stressful at times.

Grant has a great campground and has great customer service and always welcomes you home. We have been staying with him for the last 21 years coming and going to Arizona. Has nice facilities.

This stay was our second at this campground. The first night was fine. The bathrooms were clean, but the trash had not been taken out and there were no paper towels in the dispenser. On this visit, the restrooms were dirty, the trash hadn't been taken out in a while, and there was no paper towels in the bathroom. The campsite was clean, but the bathroom experience soured us.

I've stayed at this KOA multiple times. Easy in and out. Restrooms and laundry are quite nice. Not a garden spot as far as landscaping but quite adequate if you are passing thru!

Second time staying in the cabins and deeply appreciate how clean they are! The restrooms are very close - traveling alone with kids - it's very safe, and my favorite: very clean! Quiet, nice little dog park, my kids think the covered wagon in the playground is the coolest thing lol :) Cabin amenities were top notch. Always enjoy our stay here.
