Friendly staff fresh flowers in ladies bathroom. Worked on a puzzle in break room. Could've used a bit more seating. Also limited grassy area for pets.

Rick and Tonya were very nice. This KOA is very well kept.

The Park is nice and taken care of. The employees are fantastic are welcoming. They have Hunt Brothers Pizza and Ice Cream avaliable and we had the ice cream, it is scooped ice cream and was Great. If there was any negative it is getting to the park from I-25. If your rig is higher than 13' you can not take exit 108 going north which is 13'3". You have to take the next exit and flip and go back.

Stayed 3 nights, enjoyed the friendly staff, restrooms were very clean.

Such nice and attentive staff. Clean and level slots for the 4 rvs in our group. Helpful when we called! Good owners and a view of Pikes Peak, what more would you desire?
May 28, 2022
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Campground was well groomed. Restroom/shower rooms clean. View of the mountains were stunning! We plan to camp here again and will recommend it to others. Only 1 negative: highway noise from I-25 was loud. Perhaps a dirt embankment could be added for a sound barrier?
May 27, 2022
Oh my gosh, the trains and train whistle into the wee hours of the morning were exhausting. Not to mention the traffic noise. One and done!
May 27, 2022
We have been full time RVers for 5 year's and this place was okay, you can tell it's a old RV park that's tired. The sites are close and not very level, the grounds differently need some work done. The staff was nice.
May 26, 2022
No water or electricity for the entire stay. I realize it was a local power outage and they had no control over it but we spent over $80 to dry camp. I could have done that at Walmart for free. KOA cancellation policy is too restrictive. Second time I got burnt at KOA. It won’t happen again because I will avoid KOAs at all costs

It is nice and clean and very well maintained. Staff is wonderful -- friendly, helpful and professional. If you are coming from the north (Denver area) it is easy to access, but if you are coming from the south, you have to go several miles north of the Purcell Blvd. exit to turn around as it is impossible to get a rig through the Purcell underpass.

We had a restful night but woke up to a freak snowstorm and no power at the park. They were kind enough to let me borrow a ladder to get the snow off my slides so we could get on the road. Tip: when you exit I-25, you turn left through a ONE vehicle wide tunnel, then a right on the frontage road.
May 23, 2022
Part of the problem was weather related BUT The grounds we caked with mud. There was a power and cable tv outage the entire stay with no generator or back up power - there was no water the entire stay. WiFi was spotty at best. Weather issues happen-I understand that but no effort was made to update us on progress or apologies. Worse KOA we have been to.
May 23, 2022
This is the worse stay I have ever had at a KOA - No electricity, water, sewer, internet as promised by the manager by 9 AM. Froze during the night with no heat. Management just laughed it off as being a fun experience with a terrible snow storm and repeatedly lied to me about about when the service would be coming back which induced me not to leave their KOA. Would NOT recommend this KOA -

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for the review. We couldn't give anyone an ETA for power since the power company wouldn't give us one. Staff probably laughed instead of crying. It was a horrible experience for all of us. We were all cold with no water. Nothing we could do. Who would expect a snow storm in May?
May 23, 2022
We booked two nights but a statewide winter storm knocked out power to the campground. This also cut the water supply. We left during the morning of day two and found a hotel. If a campground is self contained like this one, an owned or rental generator needs to be available. No one had heat, electricity, or water for over 2 1/2 days and was becoming a health issue.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your review. How big do you think a generator would have to be to power the campground? HUGE and very expensive. We all suffered without heat and water. It was a freak May snowstorm. Nothing we could do. The power was out for 35 hours and 50 minutes. We did the best we could.

People were great super friendly and very friendly

Great place. The snow was the only draw back. Park gets very muddy and slushy.

I had to find a place to stay last minute. Everyone that we dealt with was super nice. Will for sure keep this place in mind for the future.
May 19, 2022
When we arrived, our jack was broken and Rick that works there was very nice and found us one we could use to so we could disconnect the truck and go to camping world To get another one. He saved us!!

Very nice staff. Clean and well kept

We had a horrible experience with the miller moth invasion. Every night we killed 40-50 moths in our rv. We have never experienced this before. We tried to get to slerp at night and had moths crawling over us. We were so glad to leave! The owner/operator should have sprayed or used some type of control. We saw everyone else leaving too.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your review. The miller moths are a migratory species that hits us for a couple of weeks in Spring. Nothing we can do. They feed the birds. They are annoying but harmless. There are ways to stop them; lavender, bowls of soapy water under a light. We don't want pesticides sprayed.

To my surprise on arrival after dark I was confronted by a 13 by 13 box under the Interstate with no real traffic control other than honor. There needs to be a light system to let someone know when it is safe to enter the tunnel. I also found the road system to the campground in serious need of patching and paving.

Stayed for 2 nights. Worked great for us. Will be back.
May 16, 2022
Clean RV park, friendly staff, only issue ice cream was shut down Saturday at 6:15 pm. No time hours posted on their flyer. Would have loved to try fresh made ice cream.
May 16, 2022
Everyone was efficient and friendly. Very clean and well maintained.

Nice campground. Two issues. First, the wi-fi is weak. They offered two connections which we used for our phones. We would have had to pay for a connection for our PC. Second issue is the low bridge between I-25 and the campground. We just happened to discover this existed in the KOA handbook. No mention on the web site or on the confirmation form. It would be helpful to advise campers.

May 16, 2022
It is a very nice park. There is a low bridge coming in from the interstate (13'3").
May 13, 2022
Always enjoy staying here. Nice friendly staff. Rick and Tanya were great. We enjoy the sounds of the trains at night. Highly recommend this KOA.
May 13, 2022
Awesome staff, friendly atmosphere. Have stayed several times when traveling. We’ll be staying again in the near future.
May 13, 2022
well run, friendly people and I always enjoy when they have an ice cream bar and pizza delivery
May 12, 2022
Amazing hosts Rick & Tonya. Very rare in our travels to have such friendly helpful people. Our every need was met while at the park & information was given fir special sites to see in the area. We hope the park owners appreciate Rick & Tonya, they are awesome!

We left our previous location early to avoid the expected high winds. We arrived at 11 AM about 2 hours b4 reg ck in and were informed that we would have to pay and additional $15 even though the site assigned to us was NOT OCCUPIED. I wanted to take my wife out for lunch since it was Mothers Day, so reluctantly paid the addional $15. We were escorted to our assigned site which NOT LARGE enough.
May 10, 2022
Although you have no control over the low clearance bridge, you can control preparing your guests for a successful stay by either posting it on your website or pitting it in the confirmation. I do not know why you are not escorting guests but it is a courtesy that was missed. Last the wording on you check-in package about departure time seems unfriendly. Just our thoughts.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your comments. Web/confirmation is in process of being changed. We usually always escort so I can only assume you arrived when our escorter was hauling water and off the premises. The wording is in caps because people like to push that boundary; having to constantly remind people.

Very nice park, well maintained and the staff absolutely superb! The LOCATION—TERRIBLE! To bad the park is so great, but the access for a large, Class A coach is basically impossible, and being right on I-25 with no sound break is like parking in the median and expecting no noise. The so-called access tunnel at Exit 210 is a tiny one way/one vehicle tunnel that is barely 13’6”.

Very nice, clean grounds and staff were very friendly. Close to everything.
May 06, 2022
Very nice people, nice place and they had a pizza we could get and they delivered it to us!
May 05, 2022
Rick went out of his way to help us by getting us a few tools to fix a drawer latch.
May 03, 2022
Cable tv is hard to connect. Pizza made on site is very good. Friendly staff. Clean site.
May 03, 2022
NOT THE BEST OF AMENITIES. WE STAYED THERE IN APRIL. THE PLACE IS NOT SET UP FOR SUMMER.
May 02, 2022
Employees and the fenced in patio were amazing!
May 01, 2022
Entire staff were very accommodating to us. We didn't have a reservation and they were pretty full but they managed to find a spot or us. We needed to stop because of the fierce winds and we were going through Pueblos when we decided to stop for the night. Thank you all at this KOA to give us great customer service.

Love this KOA, we always stop here if we're anywhere close. Friendly people, clean, and convienent to many things. Great views of the stars, you can see Pike Peak, and it's easy to drive in the campground.

Was passing through Pueblo and stayed 1 night in a Kamper Cabin. What a cool concept. Comfortable bed, lots of space, and a front deck with an incredible view of Pikes Peak. The grounds and individual shower/toilet rooms were impeccably neat and clean. The couple at the front desk are awsome people!!! Overall, this is the nicest KOA that I have ever stayed at.

We are going into the third month of our stay and we absolutely love it. You can tell the owner truly cares about the campground. Everything is so clean and tidy around the campsites and facilities. The lots are spacious with excellent wifi. I work remote, sometimes on video calls with my team, so the wifi is a HUGE plus and is rare to find. The staff is excellent, friendly, kind and helpful. Our dog escaped during a blizzard and they were out helping looking for him for hours. They share local tips and even alert you when mail or packages arrive. There are so many thoughtful amenities like the pool, grill, patio, and dog park. So happy to make this our home for a few months. Highly recommend!!
