Excellent Journey KOA! Friendly staff, good store and fresh food options, clean and private restroom/shower rooms, good play scape, well kept grounds. Traffic noise, since it’s somewhat close to I25, but it’s not an issue.

We stayed at an electric tent site was clean and well taken care of bathrooms were amazing camp host did great job and there is a brothers hunt pizza shop we’re you can order a pizza in site very much appreciated!

My situation was a bit odd because I needed a place to pitch my tent and I was told the tent area was closed since the shower house wasn't up and running. But the temporary shower house was just fine. However, there was no WATER near my site. Staff was very friendly. No real amenities (water/table/shelter) for $37 so three stars. The site was worth $20 tops.

The first time they said the kitchen was open, when I got there it was closed. Wish they had told me when it closed I would have gone shopping for food. Second time they were renovating the bathrooms, both at the same time, men and women's. The alternative was to shower and clean up in a trailer that had only 2 bathrooms for a campsite and very small. The grounds were clean though.

We arrived late after being on the road. Our paperwork was ready and we easily found our site. The Kampground is SUPER CLEAN! I was impressed with how organized and clean this location was, and we left early the next AM to get on the road. Thank you guys so much, we will be back!

We got the same spot we had last year. KOA is such a nice alternative to hotel/motel option. We love it. We will see you next year for the 2023 Pueblo Chili Festival.

I loved the camp ground. The staff was friendly and quick with requests. The restrooms and showers were cleaned frequently. I would absolutely come back again and refer people here.

Arrived after hours (9pm), and registered - super simple process. Set up for the night was simple as well. I just wish it was better lit in the tent area, I had to use my car headlights and flashlight. Left before the office opened (7:30am) but I got my receipt by email, which was super convenient! Bathrooms were clean, which is always something I pay attention to!

The forcing people to move from cabin to cabin on a weekly basis makes no sense, and is a great inconvenience to the guests. Also, refusing to accept debit cards is not a sound business practice. Some losses are simply the cost od doing business. The owner, Mike, needs to work on his people skills. He is gruff, often rude, and overbearing. Grounds well maintained. Employees helpful.

Friendly people, constantly working to improve the park. Clean and well maintained. Good pizza and ice cream at the store. I could talk about the noise frim the freeway, but a park that is conveniently located to the interstate is going to have noise. I noticed it more this time because of tent camping rather than an RV which I usually use. We do stay here often and will continue to do so.

Very clean campgrounds and friendly staff- there was an issue with a particular camper being inappropriate and STAFF handled it very well, quickly, professionally and kept the rest of us informed so we weren't alarmed-which as a single mom camping with her child I very much appreciated! We will definitely stay again!

Bathrooms were not the cleanest and the road noise was really bad. I wouldn't stay here again. The host was very nice.

Enjoyed my stay there. Met some nice but, the traffic on the road was noisy. People next to me had a visitor with a loud truck. So, the noise was really the only issue I had.

Well, even through it's a campground my first comment is about the wifi. Routine tent site but sat at the picnic table with bandwidth like I have in my house. Nice facility, fantastic people on the staff. Small, but very nice pool. Second stay, will stay again and will absolutely recommend.

We used this place as a Basecamp, to visit a number of sightseeing attractions. Places like Bishop Castle, Royal Gorge, Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, etc. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They have a nice little gift shop and camping supply store, as well as a little food service between 4pm and 7:30pm. The pizza is to die for, and the hand dipped ice cream is a refreshing treat, after a long, hot day.

Just got here, hope it stays 5 stars by end of stay After stay update: kept 5 stars. They even recently UPGRADED the bathrooms to include 8 individual room stalls complete with showers! Lots of room, both the campgrounds and the sites. All hookups you need plus cable TV. Dog run area, 24/7 laundry. Mini convenience store, but only 5 miles if you need stores. 4 mins at the speed limit! And only 20 minutes to Pueblo Lake State Park.

Father stayed st this KOA and it is a very convenient location. Has some nice areas to walk and kids to play
