As usual the campground is immaculate, the people that staff the campground professional and polite. This is the best KOA campground I have ever stayed at.

Such a lovely place! We had a RV space and the deluxe Cabin #1. The RV space was large and had grass, just perfect. The cabin was so impressive. Clean, spacious and had everything you need. We stayed on our way to the Rockys and on the way back. Best decision ever. The facility is awesome, playground, pool, put-put golf, goldfish....and the staff was super friendly. Stay here!!

Spent one night in one of the covered Small but comfortable for one or two for a night. They have a heater and AC. The AC was able to keep up with the 90 degree daytime temperature. Be aware that they are not sealed. Took away stars because the bed and interior was covered in dust and dead bugs. I understand this is camping but a wipe down of the interior would have been a nice touch.

The mattress in the wagon was really dirty. I realize it is dusty and windy but it was really dirty to use.

We travel from Arizona to Northern Colorado and love to stay at Colorado City KOA after a 15 hour drive . We stay in the deluxe cabins very clean, comfortable, and love the privacy of having your own bathroom/shower. This will be our fourth time use this KOA location and will continue using in the future. Oh this time we got to meet the staff because we arrived before they closed very friendly.

The cabin had cobwebs inside and out. The door had a gap at the bottom that let in lizards and such. The bathroom by the office was very good. Next time I will go for the deluxe cabin.

Better than expected. We played mini golf, volleyball and basketball. Our cabin was very cute and had more space than we thought it would. Bed was comfortable. We are already making plans to go again when pool is open.

Greeted very nicely when we arrived. Do miss the fresh baked cookies they used to give each person on arrival years ago. Miniature golf was fun. Course needs a little TLC.

KOA came through for me after a day of traveling. I was tired and disappointed I couldn't camp in the national forest as planned. The cabin was clean as was the bathroom. The host was helpful setting the table closer due to strong winds.

Enjoyed our stay here in a camping cabin. We arrived late and had no issues checking in. The camping cabins here also include a fridge, microwave and TV, and having a ceiling fan meant that we didn’t have to run the AC unit. The reading lights on the bed were a nice touch too. The campground is well cared for. The restrooms were clean the entire time even though the campground was fairly full.

Cabin was great. Clean, and nice for two adults. Bed left a little to be desired. Great mountain views. The campground was very clean, quiet and peaceful. Staff was very nice. The dog runs need to be enlarged and updated. The whole campground as in the amenities need updated, cleaned up a little, and a good paint job. Come for the stay and the views.

This campground charged us $30 for a pet fee to stay in a Kamping Kabin. All the other KOA's we stayed in (4 others) did not charge extra for pets. It is pitch dark at night and difficult to navigate when arriving at night. The grass had not been mowed in quite some time. There are combination locks on the restroom doors that are difficult to see at night. We will not stay here again.

Most campgrounds charge a pet fee in the cabins. Our website also tells you the pet fee charge. The park has plenty of lighting near the bathrooms so you can see how to punch in the codes. If we leave codes out then people mess up bathrooms.

KOA staff are awesome! The bedding was nasty it was covered in cat hair and mattress cover was stained.

1/26/25 we reserved DELUXE CABIN #3, SLEEPS 5, queen bed, twin bunks, Kitchen, Concrete patio, gas grill. Arrived 8:45pm 9/5/25. We were downgraded Deluxe Cabin, Sleeps 2, No kitchen. We spoke w/owner, cancelled 2nd night, rcv'd a half refund. In future double check w/THAT KOA to have file notated reservation doesn't get changed. WILL be back, been staying 10 yrs here. Never had an issue before.

The cabin smelled like wet dog and animal urine. There seemed to be a lot of full time rv'ers living at the campground.

Staff was not very friendly or welcoming, front desk/welcome center closes too early at 6 pm, hot tub closes at 6 pm, cabin didn't have a walkway so my feet got wet, cabin parking was awkward, and my front porch didn't have a swing like all other KOA cabins I've stayed in. However, the location was good - easy on and off the interstate and a gas station close by.

Pool, hot tub stays open later if there is people in them using them. When it is slow we close at 6pm.

Like the deluxe cabins a lot more. So helpful to have the bathroom. The pool is a little to cold to really enjoy wish they would try and heat it some.

It was a short stay the deluxe cabin was very nice, clean had bedding, towels, a small kitchen (without a stove) but outside had a grill with patio. The area was full of other guests, nice KOA. We would definitely stay again if we’re in this area.

We arrived later in the evening so the office was already closed, however they called me in advance to inform me where my envelope with check in instructions would be placed. It had rained, so my pamphlet was wet. I called a telephone number on the office window and someone answered and handled the questions and was very sweet. We loved our cabin and will stay again. Thank you.

We have stayed at this koa many times and enjoyed it. This time however we left in the middle of our first night cabin-K3 stay because my son woke up at 1:30 am after being bitten by a centipede. We know it was a centipede because we saw it in the bed. We understand that there can be bugs but the sheets looked really dirty as well. I don’t think we will be back.

Sheets are cleaned between each guest, had brand new sheets put on that day. Not sure where the centipede came from as we searched the whole cabin and didn't find a centipede.

Workers were very nice. Pool hours are way too short, and says it’s heated and it wasn’t. Hot tub is inconvenient, hard to get into and most people like to hot tub at night and not available after 5. Have to ask management to unlock it if you want to use it durning the day. I get it people abuse your amenities and it’s hard to please everyone. The bathrooms were clean and showers were hot!

Nous avions fait une erreur de réservation et cela a été corrigé avec énormément de rapidité par les responsables du camping, superbe expérience.

This is a treasure! We had a RV space and the deluxe cabin. The RV space was large, easy to pull in to and had grass! The cabin was super spacious, clean and had all the amenities that you need. We were so happy. The grounds are clean and beautiful, playground, put put golf, goldfish, pool, so many things to keep everyone entertained and happy! The staff are super friendly and helpful. This is one of my favorite KOAs and will stay here again.

Cabin 3 is extremely comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Rubens (owner) and Clay & Kim (staff) are considerate and very helpful. The location is right off the highway with easy access and moderate traffic noise. I highly recommend this KOA!
