You could use more gravel on the interior roads and sites. Due to the melting snow and ice they were sloppy and muddy in spots. Otherwise a great place to stay a day or longer.

Thanks for the suggestion. We will be putting more gravel in the spring. Winter just does a number on the gravel and pushes it all under the mud. Hope to have this fixed soon. Safe travels.

Was not impressed that the sites were not plowed out. We were towing a car behind our motorhome and had to unhook it because we got stuck pulling out in the morning. Campground itself looked pretty nice.

When you visit in the middle of a snowstorm there is not much plowing we can do. We have not had issues with anyone else getting stuck or having to unhook. Sorry, you experienced this. We cannot control the weather. Wished it was clear and sunny year-round.

We usually stay at this KOA on our way home from trips South..but this year, on our way South..we had truck trouble and had to be towed to the nearest campground..luckily we were brought to this KOA. We were treated with kindness by the staff..the owner even took us grocery shopping! We left 10 days later feeling grateful we were “stuck” in a nice place with good people..thanks to you all!

Nice place to stay. Clean bathrooms. The KoA is right off 1-25 North. We met the owner and he was very nice and helpful. We will stay again.

We’ve stay at this at this KOA 8 different times. This time we had check out then had an accident. We went back and they went out of their way to help us! As long as we travel south we will ALWAYS stay here!!

Stay during November 24 snow storm. Stay was to be 3 days, due to storm had another 3 days. All utilities stayed on, roads were cleared after storm. Power and staff were helpful and friendly. Would stay again.

Friendly, Helpful. Young man who helped us get parked even wrote down directions for us to avoid road work being done on highway ramp.

We've been staying in KOAs for over 20 years. This campground was particularly nice. The location was quiet despite being close to the highway. It's a great location for doing day trips around Colorado. The people who work here were very friendly and helpful. The place was kept up beautifully. We'll be back.

Great map to my spot ( I arrived after hours). Great instructions on how to connect to the WiFi, bathroom code, etc. Super clean bathrooms. Definitely worth staying at the Pueblo South KOA!

We really like this campground and have stayed there numerous times in the last few years. We also payed for our daughter and daughters to stay here twice. But this visit wasn't what we usually experience. The staff was great in all instances. But we were assigned B13 which was too short for our 32' 5th wheel. I managed to get it set but could not attach the sewer hose. Had to dump after hookup.

I would recommend this KOA for others due to its size. However, I was disappointed that the cabin wasn't clean. It doesn't have to be updated, but the cabin should be clean and free of pet hair and dust. As a business owner, your reputation is at stake, and you want repeat customers. Thank you for your understanding and the discount you provided. I look forward to visiting you again.

Cabins are cleaned after each guest. We have been experiencing a lot of wind which causes a lot of dust unfortunately. Sorry you had issues with this.

Very clean restroom. Stayed one night. Quiet and well maintained. Campground was about half-full, host wisely left one empty spot between campers. We appreciate spreading campers out when possible : )

Beautiful grounds and walking trail around the lake. Sites are close with no grass. Not sure how messy this would be if it rained. Clean laundromat. Lots of activities on the weekend if you have kids. Nightly rate is pretty high even with KOA discount. We would stay again if in the area.

This KOA in Pubelo South was an awful experience.. The check in female clerk was rude and surly, And we were charged $30.00 for one small pet . We have paid $10.00 at the other Cabins we have occupied throughout the west.. Plus the cabin had ripped window screens that we had to tape closed and kill many wasp. Very dirty cabin. Floor unsuitable for our pet to walk on before I cleaned it. Bad

You made your reservation online which tells you there is a $30.00 pet fee. Sorry the front desk clerk was rude, will have a discussion about that. If you had an issue with cabin, you should have notified us so we could fix the issue. Cabins are cleaned daily!!

We originally planned to be here for 3 nights but it was so beautiful and the owners and staff so friendly we decided to stay for a total of 7 nights. Its a really beautiful place and you can see the greenhorn mountains. This is tagged for us to return to again.

The campsite was clean the grass was a little long at our site but our dogs were so happy to see and feel grass again. Office staff was friendly and efficient. The view was so pretty. Definitely staying again.

It was well cared for and very clean. Also we used the Social Hall and it was a very nice size. Office personnel were friendly.
