The site we were given was very small and I have a small camper. Barely room for camper and truck. They're we're other sites open so not sure why we were given such a small spot.

Nice campground and good location for visiting the area. Close to town and attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our pull through site was level and easy in and easy out. Most sites had shade; nice for July and August temps. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked like it was the place to be for families with children.

Store employees were very friendly and helpful. When we reported that our picnic table was broken, it was replaced immediately. Campground was very clean. Sites are small and very close together, and the showers are very small. Otherwise it is a great campground. Ideal location!

We loved our stay, the shaded sites were beautiful. The only thing lacking was that the wi-fi did not work most of the time.

We did a one night stay as we were traveling elsewhere. Sites are nicely shaded and level. Staff was very friendlly and helpful. Close to Munising and Pictured Rocks. Would definately stay here if we were visiting the Munising/Picture Rocks area.

Many KOAs and other private campgrounds are mostly parking lot with a few trees and some grass. Nice enough but not much nature. The Munising/Pictured Rocks KOA is beautiful. Almost every campsite is tucked into trees. Everything is clean, the landscaping is well groomed, the owner at the desk was very helpful and warm. This is a great campground and very conveniently located. Highly recommended.

We arrived and it was not at all what was expected or advertised.. -Arrive early and they will tell you to park in a field and go do something else, even though your space is available. -Wifi is horrible, water pressure is so light, cable didn't work- it was just fuzz. -If you want to park in a field as your "space" directly across from the dump station, this is the place for you!

We appreciate the feedback and apologize that the site you reserved online wasn't what you expected. It looks like the site was reserved the night prior and apologize it wasn't open at your early arrival.

Was in a site with another site facing 39 ours. Not any room. Site was muddy in spots. Dog trail was sort and not maintained.

It is a nice campground but the sulphuriic water was unusable. We prefer smaller campgrounds but this one is well taken care of and nice people.

We absolutely loved our site in Munising.. very private and very peaceful, however my only complaint is that I work remote and the Internet sucked.. In our party there were 4 campers and none of us could get connected at any time of the day.. The whole campground is under Hugh trees, and they may have contributed to no signal. We did not get much help from the front desk to this issue.

Check in was smooth. Staff was great. They had great firewood available. Clean showers and bathrooms. Pool was kept clean.

Just an overnight stay on our way to Minnesota. Used the dog run several times, clean and convenient. Very friendly place. Definitely stop again.

We have been coming to this campground for over 10 years since it was wandering wheel and will continue to return! Clean campground friendly staff great location!

Loved our pull through campsite and the beautiful tree cover. Enjoyed playing a game if cute home. They need to place blocks behind the boards so they don’t collapse.

Pool was great. The park is beautiful and very clean. The laundry room and bathrooms were very clean as well. The park staff was visible and responsive to any concerns. Loved our stay!!

Nice campground but no grass in most areas. The shade makes up for it though. Be prepared to be sandy or muddy.

We had a wonderful time. Our pull thru site with mature trees was easy to get in and out of, hook ups were good. Kids loved the pool. The store had really great prices on everything. Can't beat the location either. It was a good central starting point for all our daytrips.

We enjoyed this campground. The pool was nice and the restrooms were clean. The playground area was limited for the kids, but they made do and there were plenty of kids for them to play with. If I were to make improvements to the campground, I would add another bathroom (there's only 1 at the front) and a pathway to the pool at the rear without needing to walk through other campsites.

As a Journey location, this was a very quiet stay! Close to a road but far enough away to be quiet. LOVED the electric only site which backed up to trees. Felt like I was in the forest but with the benefit of being close to a road to go to activities, groceries and gas. Steve was excellent and would definitely stay again.

Catching up on helpful Google reviews from previous stays. I usually place reviews on Campendium for RV parks. ---------------- Stayed here in late-July 2023. Back-in. Water and electric only 30 amp. Site #62 $53/night 3 nights stayed Site #62 THE GOOD Location: Close to town where you go to take any of the tours of Pictured Rocks. Also close to gas, food, and groceries (about 10 min). Sites: Backed up to woods with lots of space and felt really comfortable for a camping experience. THE BAD Site: All grass and not level. NOT GOOD OR BAD: Wifi: Did not connect to campground wifi. Cell service: Neither Verizon or AT&T were good. AT&T was just good enough to get some light work done. Facilities: Did not use laundry or showers to review.
