Park needs updating. Requested to be near family and ended up on opposite ends of the campground was extremely disappointing. Spots up in the front are very makeshift and added without much thought.

Unfortunately, the type of hook up that the guest made online and without a note to reference others was a different type of hook up that isn't offered near the other two reservations made. Thanks for taking the time to complete the survey.

This KOA has more of a campground feel than a resort with its spacious, wooded gravel sites. We could not connect to the wifi and cell service is spotty. This is such a lovely campground near to the town of Munising. It’s a shame that we felt like intruders, from the bored staff member at check in to the maintenance staff who couldn’t lift their heads to say good morning. ����

We are a KOA Journey and not a Holiday which would give you the resort feel. Unfortunately, we have no control over cellphone service.

Beautiful grounds - wooded sites! Friendly staff! The bathrooms were not pleasant - wet and sandy. Lots of wet swimmers in and out of restrooms. After a long day of travel, we just wanted dinner and a shower - usually easy to come by at most KOAs. It felt like there not enough facilities for the number of campers -

thought I had reserved a site with power and water, apparently it only had power, and only 20 amp (can't run AC). Very noisy in early AM every day due to heavy equipment noise from nearby, and a trash truck coming to empty the dumpsters around 6:00 a.m. one day of our visit. Loved all the trees around the sites and the privacy. Playground could use some updating, pool was great!

Nice shaded sites but on the small side. Kids seemed to be having a great time in the pool and playground area. The shower areas were continuously wet probably due to the pool being used so much. Only three washers and dryers so made it somewhat difficult to do laundry.

Our first night there was hardly any water pressure. The next morning the same, but picked up to about normal the rest of our stay. Very spotty Wi-Fi. However the setting was nice and so was my interaction with the staff.

All sites are wooded. All outer sites are spacious, too. Campground employees are friendly and attentive. Campers respected rules. The pool was very clean. Having open areas in the middle makes for easy mingling with fellow campers. Great location to Munising (5-7 minutes drive). The nearby beaches and boat tour are quick, easy adventures away from camp.

The showers were a bit on the narrow side. Men's bathroom stall ran out of toilet paper.

Site not well set up. Water/electric over standard lengths far on 1 end with sewer far run on other end even when splitting difference. Picnic table and fire pit on sewer side. No room to put table on door side without too close to neighbor. Roads not well marked and narrow under dense tree cover making fire hazard. Told us to turn camper around to run connections underneath. This violates MI law.

Loved the trees and the location. Having a pool was a delight. Evenings tended to be noisy - next year we'll go for a site further away from the entrance! Thank you for such a fun few days.

wifi was bad, cell service bad - I do work/travel - thus find places to stay that have wifi, bathrooms pretty good, friendly service, sites were decent, had full hookup but couldn't use because toilet pump because drain was mounted to high - couldn't move trailer anywhere else, the whole site was lower - should have not paid for full hookup for that reason, could have saved money -site 40

We had a great week camping here! Facilities were clean, staff were very nice and helpful and it's really close to a lot of great destinations!

Our site was awful. Not maintained at all. 2 inches worth of leaves covering our entire site. We have two toddlers. Luckily, we were only there one night. We stopped here for a night on our way to Big Bay. We stay at KOA's often. It wasn't up to KOA standards. Unfortunately, we will be finding a different campground to stay at next time we come up.

The site was very small and tight and extremely muddy! We were literally in the site of the people in back of us. The camp staff, however, were very nice and helpful!

Firewood pretty expensive. Some of the pull-through sites at quite an angle so harder to level camper. Otherwise very nice and well-kept. Staff nice and helpful.

4 nights. Small space and very muddy. Need drop some gravel or mulch into space 40. Picnic table soaked and molded. Otherwise nice location.

Will run campground with nice amenities and friendly staff. Near a highway and can get noisy occasionally, but the sites in the back may be quieter. Fun place for kids and conveniently located to town.

The entire staff here have been beyond amazing! I'm full-time on the road and moving as much as I do, often times it feels like I’m just another reservation passing through. Not here! Words alone cannot explain how welcomed I feel here!

It was considered a journey, but they had lots of amenities! We had to go with 20 Amp because they are so busy this time of year, so we couldn't use all our "glamping" features. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Reserved a pass-through site. Very small and barely able to get 28' trailer in spot with tow vehicle at 90 degrees across trailer. Area was crowded. They had a pool, but we didn't use. I had to block a main artery upon leaving because it was the only way to hook up my trailer and leave. It did have a nice office and staff were pleasant. I just thought is was overpriced and cramped.

Internet did not work � Dog walk was a dead end and lasted a minute � No food available, you should participate in the KOA pizza for tired weary travelers.

The campground was nice clean and well maintained. My particular site (7) was muddy and sandy. Unfortunately it rained often so we were in mud a good part of the time. If you guys would add gravel to all the lots that would greatly improve them. The landfill across the street smelled pretty bad at times. Overall I would say it was a pretty nice campground and would be really nice with minor upgrad

Friendly staff, extremely helpful, well stocked store with good prices, lots to do in the campground to keep the kids busy, spacious campsites. I was going to purchase a hose because we could not get our camper close enough to the water hook up. Instead of selling me a hose they let me borrow one for the weekend.

I have one minor complaint. The sandy ground splashed all over my RV when it rained. If the space had gravel the splashing of sand would be minimized. That is not a deal breaker- just an annoyance. It’s an annoying because so many parks prohibit RV washing. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Catching up on helpful Google reviews from previous stays. I usually place reviews on Campendium for RV parks. ---------------- Stayed here in late-July 2023. Back-in. Water and electric only 30 amp. Site #62 $53/night 3 nights stayed Site #62 THE GOOD Location: Close to town where you go to take any of the tours of Pictured Rocks. Also close to gas, food, and groceries (about 10 min). Sites: Backed up to woods with lots of space and felt really comfortable for a camping experience. THE BAD Site: All grass and not level. NOT GOOD OR BAD: Wifi: Did not connect to campground wifi. Cell service: Neither Verizon or AT&T were good. AT&T was just good enough to get some light work done. Facilities: Did not use laundry or showers to review.
