Absolutely beautiful area. We were camped among the trees with full hook full hook ups. Very nice spacious sites too.

Employees were super helpful the bathrooms got a little dirty but not to bad. Only one bathroom for so many spots. Spots were tight however it was lovely being under the trees in the shade. The pool was green that was probably the only true negative

Fantastic campground! Very clean and easy to get around in.The biggest plus for this KOA is the unbelievable helpfulness of their employee, Lauren, who was working the night we checked in,She went way out of her way to help us.They were sold out when we called, but she kept checking for cancellations, calling us back and then finding a spot that had someone had left early from. Thank you Lauren!!

Not the usual KOA standard. No one escorted you to your site. Water and electric hookup almost impossible to reach with hose and cord. Wood overpriced @ $9 per small bundle.

Not many activities like most other KOA Campgrounds we stayed at. Pool and playground only. Fire wood was pretty green not seasoned more than a month or so.

Staff was very accomodating with our last minute request to stay. Excellent customer service at check in. This park has a lot of trees so cell service isn't great. Roads and camp spots are dirt. It would be nice if owners put gravel in so camp areas aren't muddy after rains.

Initial site could not accommodate our coach. Front desk took great care of us and quickly got us in another site. Gravel coverage in the new site was pretty thin so the heavy rain on day 2 resulted in a lot of mud on our Drive (utilities) side.

if you want a private wooded site and a quiet campground this is your spot! beautiful campground. our spot was a full hookup in the back row. very quiet. very wooded and shaded. campground was clean. staff was friendly. store sells lots of merchandise but not a lot of food. the town of munising is only about 3 miles away with restaurants, bars, etc. highly recommend this campground!

Very nice KOA. Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Nice pool and playground area. Had and issue with a tree that threatened to fall on our camper due to gale winds. Contacted the staff and they took care of the tree immediately. Wi-Fi wasn’t good at our site.

Beautiful sights. Most were separated by trees. Bathroom and showers were very nice. We would definitely book here again even though we mostly stay at state parks. This was a very nice campground.

I stayed in a back-in spot in the very back of the campground. It was quiet and had trees on three sides. Would definitely stay in that spot again!

It would be nice if you would plant a row of pines or some type of hedge along the Highway to block some of the road noise. Also something along the entrance road. We stayed on site 1 and between the road noise and the constant incoming and outgoing traffic it wasn’t very peaceful.

This KOA is very wooded so WiFi is non-existent. We booked our site in February for a mid August stay and was unable to get a full hookup site. We stayed in a 40’ motorhome, the site was just long enough due to s tree at the back of the site. There was room for our toad to park beside our coach. Backing into our site was tight due to a narrow road.

The staff was extremely helpful to find us a site for an extra night. And it was right across from the original site too.

We were in an RV site at the front of the campground. It was a basically a field off the side of the road. The rest of the campground seemed to have lovely, wooded sites. Our site was disappointing. I would suggest planting a ton of trees to block the view and noise of the road.

Very dark site. Electric was too far and on the wrong side as we were told we had to back in. Couldn’t have reached it anyway. We didn’t stay. Just pulled out. Site was also ver very small

Stayed 8/7-11; site 33. Had a good stay; no issues. I think we had the tightest pull thru site of any at this campground, but it worked out okay. Fortunately, the weather was excellent, otherwise the site would have been a mud pit as it is quite dusty at this campground.

The sites were small, but the landscaping (leaving trees for shade/rain protection) was cozy and provided the up north at the UP feel. There were not enough showers for the number of campers using them, and the space in the shower was tight. The dog run trail was a great feature, and the office staff was friendly and helpful.

Campground is mostly very nice, but our site (#3) was terrible. Felt like we were in the middle of the highway, not any trees for shade or privacy. I would not have stayed here if we knew our site would be like that. We walked around and saw that most of the campground was lovely and shaded in the back, which made us sad/mad that we didn't get one of those.

It was very nice. We were fortunate to get the sites we had. We had to move three times in three days. We would’ve stayed longer if we could find a stable site to stay at.

Catching up on helpful Google reviews from previous stays. I usually place reviews on Campendium for RV parks. ---------------- Stayed here in late-July 2023. Back-in. Water and electric only 30 amp. Site #62 $53/night 3 nights stayed Site #62 THE GOOD Location: Close to town where you go to take any of the tours of Pictured Rocks. Also close to gas, food, and groceries (about 10 min). Sites: Backed up to woods with lots of space and felt really comfortable for a camping experience. THE BAD Site: All grass and not level. NOT GOOD OR BAD: Wifi: Did not connect to campground wifi. Cell service: Neither Verizon or AT&T were good. AT&T was just good enough to get some light work done. Facilities: Did not use laundry or showers to review.
