Our four nights in a cabin were good. Everything was fine, as expected. The two front desk clerks were friendly, helpful and had good coffee.

It is a beautiful park, and although on the highway and so very convenient, once you are back in the park, you are in the woods. Good services too.

Nice, but not great. The hook-ups on the pull through sites are awkward. Depending on which way you're facing, you may need an extension cord or extra sewer hoses.

Wonderful stay @ site 51. Great sites w mature trees which makes it feel very private. Super staff. Clean bathrooms/ laundry. Great little gift shop. Very close to Munising and all of the pictured rocks attractions. We stayed at 3 KOAs this trip and this one is definitely our favorite! We will absolutely be back!!!!

Some sites need a gravel refresh. It rained and we were walking in a lot of mud. Also, it's time to upgrade the bathrooms and showers.

Wasn't nearly as nice as the other KOAs we've stayed at. Rented cabin, no window locks, cable wire but no TV. One bathroom in the entire campgrounds. Dog K9 area was just a fenced bathroom.

The staff greeted us warmly and quickly showed us where our site was located. Bathrooms were spotless. Pool looked inviting, but we weren't prepared to jump in. We stayed 3 nights. Loved it. We will return!

Very accommodating. Needed a fire ring with grill and one was provided. Car battery went dead on Labor Day and arrangements were made to have maintenance give me a jump. While waiting for maintenance the woman at the desk showed me photos of northern lights from previous 2 nights. That night we saw them!

Shady relaxing sites. Clean restrooms. Friendly staff. If you mountain bike an easy/moderate Valley Spur trail nearby which is a fun and beautiful ride.

Rest rooms and laundry were very clean. As with most koas the sites were tight and we were in front of the campground with our back to the road. Was a little noisy but other than that we had a very nice stay. Good proximity to Pictured Rocks National lakeshore and some of the other attractions in the area.

Very nice park. I just wish we can pick our sites. I would love to come back but would really like the site we had. I hope someday this can be in the future.

Great little cabin for our small family. The heated pool was our 5 year old daughter’s favorite thing about the entire trip! We definitely struggled with the bathroom situation. With only 1 bathroom all the way in the front, our daughter had plenty of accidents trying to make it up to the bathrooms in time. It would be nice to have portable toilets towards the middle and back for convenience.

Three nights and I didn’t realize I could semi equipped site. No water? The sites are too close together. Not your typical KOA

After reviewing your reservation it looks like you booked that site type online and apologize it wasn't what you expected. Majority of our sites have full hook up or electric and water.

Pulll through sites are small and uneven but we made it work #40. 41 was so small every camper that came was basically sharing our site! Their picnic table was at our fire ring. Our first day people used it for a path to the pool and bathrooms. Drove our normally well behaved dogs crazy. Like 12 people per hour! We complained but nothing was done. Pick your site or go elsewhere!

The staff are great. We have a small camper, we don’t have leveling jacks. The staff found us a better campsite for our camper. The campground is spotless and the water and electric work great. We will stay here again

Large sites plenty of trees. We would’ve preferred a full hookup and better WiFi connection but camp grounds was clean office personnel was helpful and facilities were close to areas of interest

Had stayed at this resort years ago when is was the privately owned (Wandering Wheels) and we remembered it much better than what the campground is today. Felt like discount camping at a non discounted rate.

Catching up on helpful Google reviews from previous stays. I usually place reviews on Campendium for RV parks. ---------------- Stayed here in late-July 2023. Back-in. Water and electric only 30 amp. Site #62 $53/night 3 nights stayed Site #62 THE GOOD Location: Close to town where you go to take any of the tours of Pictured Rocks. Also close to gas, food, and groceries (about 10 min). Sites: Backed up to woods with lots of space and felt really comfortable for a camping experience. THE BAD Site: All grass and not level. NOT GOOD OR BAD: Wifi: Did not connect to campground wifi. Cell service: Neither Verizon or AT&T were good. AT&T was just good enough to get some light work done. Facilities: Did not use laundry or showers to review.
