During the Pendleton Round-Up things get crazy and we have been staying a full week for over a decade. You could not ask for better facilities or security. As always, the MANAGERS and the STAFF are the ones who provide a wonderful camping experience. Beautiful facility, well maintained, with easy on and off the freeway.

We LOVE staying here! This is our 2nd year staying while at the Pendleton rodeo. The owners and staff are amazing, always able and willing to help where needed! The park is clean and well maintained, showers and bathrooms are always clean. They also serve a fantastic breakfast! We cannot wait for next year! Thank you! �

First time out in the motorhome without the husband and was very nervous to back it in. One staff member guided me in easy peasy if it wasn’t for him I don’t think I would have been able to do it. Thank you again. We loved our camping space !!! See you next year and Letter Buck

This is a very nice and clean campground. Well-maintained and convenient for an overnight or a few nights. Our patio site was absolutely the nicest we've ever experienced at a KOA and well worth the additional expense. We didn't want to leave it!!

The lots are so small. Truck didn’t fit in the parking space. Our RV door opened with 6 inches into our truck. Lucky we could open our slides. Better be good at parking your rig because it so tight.

Bathrooms were clean, only good thing. Spaces WAY TOO CLOSE TOGETHER, not enjoyable.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Unfortunately our park was built several decades ago, when RVs were much smaller, and the site-sizes reflect that. The best I can do is to manage expectations, especially with the smallest sites like yours, by billing them as what they are: SMALL. We can only work with what we have. :)

Other than the danger of a grass/field fire that was extremely alarming just outside the park and the loss of power for about two and a half hours and being positioned right next to the dog park, the stay was thankfully short. Staff did the best they could under the circumstances.

Very tight spaces. Not a fan of the picnic table and sewer next to each other.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

For future reference, on your next stay with us, the picnic tables are purposely small and light-weight so you can move them wherever you would like them (or ask us to do so, if you need help). They get put in that gravel when the crew mows, but you can redeploy wherever you like!

The best part was the clear instructions when you arrive after hours. It was easy it was to both understand what I needed to do, and also very easy to check in and get to my spot. The worst part was the unshielded outside lighting. I'm not sure if it was park lighting or someone's personal lights, or both, but there were several very very bright lights that shined right into my vehicle.

I'm glad our new "after hours" booth is serving well! I'm sorry about the lights--given where you were situated, they must have been outside lights on someone's rig. In a case like that, you should definitely feel welcome to call for an assist--we'd be happy to ask the other guest to turn them off.

Fantastic location! Right off I-84, gorgeous views from the campground to the south as it sits up high on the hill. Very nice grassy spots next to each site, well treed! Nice people run the facility! Convenient to historic downtown!

Sites are entirely to small, especially for big rigs. We have a 42 foot rv, with slides on both sides and the space between the rigs was less than 10 feet. We had to shimmy between the neighbor rig and the picnic table.

We are on a long road trip that started in Aguanga California. We will reach 15 states and travel well over 5000 miles on this trip. This was one of 25 stops along our journey. The sites are very nice, clean and everything worked as expected. Nice bathrooms and reception area. Very quiet at night with beautiful territorial views. Thank you for a nice place to stay on our trip.

Staff was wonderful. The site was gravel, tightly packed, and difficult to have a vehicle and the trailer. Worst part was the neighbors. Couldn’t spend any time outside-due to lack of space, tons of wasp nests on the neighbors site, and on the other side was an overly aggressive dog that came at me one night after work when I moved their hose off my parking pad.

It seems like someone designed this KOA to get the maximum number of RV's on the grounds. We felt packed in like sardines. Tough to maneuver. Unless you are in one of the middle pull-thru sites, there is very little grass. Nice trees in the pull-thru sites. Redesign the dog park; replace the fake grass with real grass there. The staff is very helpful and works hard to maintain the campground.

Pendleton KOA and staff were very accommodating and took very good care of us even though we only stayed one night. Would recommend this KOA for anyone traveling through OREGON in the Pendleton area.

This is 100% hands down, the cleanest, most accommodating RV park I've ever stayed at. Yes it's a journey, but the managers and staff are in their own class of hospitality. And I've stayed at plentyyyy of RV parks throughout oregon/Washington. You guys rock, keep it up. Thank you for everything!

Nice, clean, easy on and off the interstate. Nice dog park. Green grass on all sites. Friendly staff. Great views of the Blue Mountains.
