Super welcoming helpful hosts! It seems this campground is mostly reserved for those who live here full time they have the scenic spacious spots. We’ve never stayed at an KOA before & didn’t realize that. Appreciate the hosts finding us a spot in the back gravel lot very accommodating.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Just so you know for future visits: about half of those scenic, spacious spots are kept open for visitors! (They do tend to fill up quickly, however, so if you'd like to secure one, a reservation in advance can do the trick. :)

Nice park. Friendly staff. Noticed tent sites have power and bbq's. And a cool covered wagon to stay in as well. Abit small and no pool, but still a very nice park. I would stay there again.

The staff was amazing! We had space close to the dog park and playground letting us be easily able to be with our dogs and children. The staff was great to work with and very welcoming. The store on site even had what we needed. We look forward to coming back! We fit easily into a back in 30 amp spot at 35’ with a long bed truck - still very accessible even with larger vehicles.

Too many monthly residents. Barking dogs not under control. Otherwise site was accommodating to our motorhome and trailer.

We had mechanical issues after leaving the Pendleton KOA, we spent a few days in a parking lot waiting for service. We were fortunate to be able to get back into this KOA and the women in the office was so sweet! Thank you for your kindness! The people in Oregon are the nicest people we’ve met��

By far the best kept KOA with the cleanest showers ever. They, also, had hand rails in the showers so klutzy people like me won't fall!

The campground is well maintained, has nice sized spaces, & is close to town. The brochure they gave us was very helpful, since we arrived after the office was closed. It listed lots of helpful information. I think Kana & John are doing a great job. Especially since some camper decided to leave one of the bathrooms a mess and others let their small dogs bark late at nite or early in the morning.

The bathrooms were kept very clean. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The small lawns at the campsites were a very pleasant touch.

The woman who checked us in was so pleasant and helpful. Sadly, the smoke from the wildfires was so thick we never ventured out of our motorhome. Rain started in the morning so I hope it clears up the smoke. I felt sorry for everyone who lived there.

Great experience. We pulled in for an overnight stay with some electric issues. The staff offered to let us use their freezer so our food wouldn’t spoil. That’s above and beyond.

Our stay was perfect. Campsite 54 is great. Suggest taking the Pendleton Underground tour. It was very hood.

Nice, level cement pad. Campers are close to each other, but have a small grassy area with picnic table. Quiet. Very hot in this area. Having a small pool would be nice.

Wonderful RV site when you're traveling through the Pendleton area. Easy access to the highway very well maintained facilities. My third stay there and I plan to return again next time we're in town.

We stayed at the Pendleton KOA Journey in April with a large 5th wheel. We didn't expect to find a pool, spa or other amenities. Pros: *Easy to find and access from I-84. *Quick check in with reservation. *Has a small store on site; propane available *Road was paved; turns were easy to make *Beautiful view from our level concrete site *Tow vehicle parking space at the site *Nice, new wooden picnic table at the site *Clean park and QUIET at night *Pet friendly; has a doggie park *Really nice, caring 'people oriented' managers *Cable TV was clear and good; hook ups were good Cons: *Tight sites (if your RV/trailer is long and/or has slides on both sides) *Long grass & weeds at sites *Too many 'long term' RV-ers *There were wooden 'porches' stored in the way across from our site so we struggled backing into it. Rehooking and pulling out was okay. This park is really nice for a night or two stop over, but because of the 'long term' RV-ers, we personally wouldn't stay longer than that. One of the nicest 'Journey' category KOAs we've stayed at. Recommend reservations ahead of time if possible.

Very nice park. Level sites with great views. Staff is friendly. Best little dog park. Only here two nights, but this goes on our favorites list. Highly recommend.
