30,000 Island Queen Cruise
Cruise Georgian Bay's 30,000 Islands: the largest concentration of freshwater islands in the world! Tickets are available here at the campground (same price) and we reserve for you.
The cruise runs everyday at 1pm and is a 3-hour, outer-island wilderness cruise (June-Thanksgiving Monday)
and also at 10am (July/Aug) and is a 2-hour, inner-island cruise.
Beaches and Waterfront
There are 2 beautiful sandy beaches within 5 minutes of the campground, including a free boat launch. One beach/Boat Launch is on Rankin Lake & one beach with playground & washrooms is on Otter Lake.
For Georgian Bay or many other little beaches, they are 3-10 minutes away. Also there is a beautiful Fitness Trail for walking or biking with a beach and playground right on Georgian Bay approx. 10 minutes away.
The Park-to-Park Trail is truly a regional incentive and a hidden gem! Connecting Killbear Provincial Park to Algonquin Provincial Park, this 230 km length of trail is a destination for all trail enthusiasts, such as hikers, walkers, cyclists, snowmobilers, horse back and ATV'ers. This project will ultimately produce a four-season multi-use trail system. The Seguin Recreational Trail is the main spine of the Park-to-Park Trail system and is accessed right from our property here at the KOA. YES, trailer right to our door and unload only once!!! Ride directly from your site or cabin to the trail. Permits are required and can be purchased online at parktoparktrail.org You can send a copy to your phone. Picnic, fish and even swim at various spots along the trail. We ask that you go directly from your site or cabin to the trail and then go directly back to your site or cabin. Please no riding around in the park. Thx.
The Charles W. Stockey Centre and Bobby Orr Hall of Fame
Music, comedy, drama, and variety on the stage of the magnificent new Stockey Centre for performing arts overlooking Georgian Bay and Parry Sound's multi-use shoreline trail. AND/OR Take your best shot at the Bobby Orr Hall of fame - learn the history, play the games and shoot on NHL goalies. Enjoy this new state of the art centre year-round.
Camping Cabins- 1 and 2-room
Our exclusive 1 and 2-room camping cabins make your camping experience a safe, simple and economical choice. Our "cozy' cabins are built from both pine and cedar logs equipped with small fridges + the standard features and are all situated close to our main washroom facilities. Planning a reunion and facing the possibility of some invitees that may not have a RV of their own? Reserving your next reunion at our KOA would solve that issue. We have cabins and sites that are all together so your group can camp close to each other for your planned get-together.
