Like years past, this KOA is the best. Come here each Labor Day weekend. Staff is always informative and friendly. Much to do in the area - hiking, Oscoda beach, tubing and Harrisville and Tawas art fairs.

Went smoothly- we had late arrival and paperwork was ready. Got settled in and checked out the area. Very nice lake towns and found great Chinese restaurant in Oscoda! A lot of things for kids to do. The train was a surprise when it rumbled past - fairly close to our site late at night. �

Pot smokers up wind from us , contacted front desk. They said that was OK with them if people smoke pot. They won't do anything to stop it

We have stayed here for almost 12 years in a row with usually a group. The staff is always extremely helpful and kind. The grounds are always kept up and the atmosphere is wonderful. Already have 2 long weekends planned for 2025. Cannot wait to return.

Such friendly staff, great campground with lots of amenities. Clean facilities, great camp store. Sad that the rec center/arcade was down (for understandable circumstances), but not the end of the world! Still lots to do. Short drive to the beach and to the river was a major bonus! Will definitely be coming back!!!

Very pleasant, very attentive staff, clean bathrooms and overall everything was in perfect order. This was our second visit to Oscoda KOA. We will definitely return. Thanks for the hospitality.

Wonderful campground and staff. They were very helpful with this being my first time out in my new camper. The campground was clean And well kept. We loved the surrounding area. Definitely would stay there again!!

We had a GREAT stay! The owner at this campground is WONDERFUL! He noticed that my little one had sensitivity to loud noises, but wanted to go on the firetruck ride, & the owner offered to let us ride in the cab where it was quieter. Such a thrill for my little guy & kindness that I will NEVER forget! Grounds were clean, so many things for the kids to do, nice bathrooms, we will be back!

Everything was decent � We were sitting around the campfire literally in silence when a gold cart pulled up, parked, and walked up on us to remind us it was quite time. We then even asked if we were being loud and he said he talks to everyone. Just made for an unnecessary, and uncomfortable moment. Maybe just address the parties that are breaking the rules.

Great place but we are reevaluating our club going back in the future. The place was half empty despite the beautiful weather. To us that indicates that maybe the high prices and extra fee for site requests are finally getting the COVID campers to reassess their involvement. Adjustments will have to be made for us to consider staying on any KOAs now....

We were greeted with a big smile but the great stay started before that. We had trouble with our tow vehicle and the staff was so nice arranging for our check-in. We opted into the text messages that updated us on events going on. Every staff person we encountered was so nice. The sites were tidy and flat. Gravel/dirt to park your camper and our sites were pull in with a nice cement patio.

We enjoyed our visit. The staff were helpful and friendly. The suggestion of where to place our trailer on the site made setup easy. We will recommend the campground to anyone looking for a place in the area.

We have stayed at this KOA many times over the years. The campground is extremely clean and well kept. The owners and employees are very friendly and always there to help. They always make our stay fun and comfortable.

Very nice staff. Clean pool. Women's bath next to store was left without hand-soap for a few days after reporting it. Need to monitor shower's for cleaning more often, dirty.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Soap was refilled within 10 minutes of being reported. Our bathrooms are cleaned 3 times a day.

Team members who go above and beyond to assist you to ensure you’re having a great stay. Text reminders. Great shaded and sunny park. Lots of woodpeckers if you’re a birder. Close to town, Huron-Manistee National Forest, and the beach (Lake Huron). Large playground, well stocked store on souvenirs. Coin laundry clean. Near train tracks.

The only thing I didn't like about this park was that we were located next to the train tracks. The RV moved when trains came by. The campsite was a great one. We liked the patio and the layout of the site.

The site, #72, a pull through with full hook-ups, was not exactly what I had experienced at other KOAs, but it was okay for us. The site was quite sloped and the patio presented a trip hazard, as the patio was higher than the surrounding grass and/or gravel.

We loved our five day four night stay and a rustic cabin. We chose the two room cabin and it was cozy, warm, and dry. When we arrived, they were waiting on us and so friendly. Dale took us to our spot and let us settle in. They deliver firewood and ice to your campsite. The pool was clean and heated. So even though it was a little cool outside, my daughter still enjoyed swimming. The bathrooms were clean and the showers had hot water. The only disappointment was the game room because you had to pay for the games. They had pool, air, hockey, and some arcade style video games. My favorite part of the campground was how quiet it was. I could sit on the porch swing in the morning with my coffee and just listen to nature. And additional bonus was there is a train that goes by twice at night. We were lucky to be able to watch it pass on the last night and wave to the conductor. We enjoyed going into Ocsoda and Tawas For shopping and dining. I would definitely come back here again. It was a wonderful experience.

Great people, very helpful. They come around and pick up your garbage and will deliver firewood. There is a train that goes by every night that is pretty loud and close but is gone quickly.

We LOVED our stay at the campground. We stayed in a deluxe cabin that was very clean and cozy. Our 3 year old was super excited to sleep on the bunk bed. There was lots for him to do. The staff was all friendly and caring. We had some potential nasty weather coming, the owners made sure everyone knew it was coming and was prepared. The camp store had lots of goodies, which I could have dropped a lot of money there. Thanks for a great stay!
