We love this campground! We visit once or twice every year. Our granddaughter loves the jumping pillow, the train ride, and the fire engine ride. We love the proximity to the beach, and we love Oscoda! The workers are great and the store is top notch. Thank you for being a huge part of building memories with our granddaughter, and soon our 2 year old twin granddaughters.

Beautiful, well-maintained campground. Very nice and friendly owners and staff. The deluxe cabins are wonderful and equipped with everything you need. Already looking forward to next year's visit.

Very clean, as per usual. Wished the office was open at 8am on our departure. The little store is so cute wanted to buy souvenirs before we left. I guess we woke up too early. Wonderful merch and displays.

The Cabin was great. The campground itself is very sandy and they don't want you to put rugs/carpets down to protect their grass, which there is very little grass. The pool is small and if you want to use it you need to go early otherwise it is crowded. The playground is nice for younger kids but the teens got bored real quick. The store was nice and the employees were very nice.

We really enjoyed our stay! This was our second time staying at the Oscoda KOA and everything is always so wonderful. The staff is so friendly, quick to deliver firewood/ ice, and they are very helpful. The renovated bathrooms and camp store were a nice surprise!

We had 32 family members camping here for a long weekend. Great times were had by all. Treasured memories. Thank you for all you do to ensure your campground is safe and fun for all. (Our families rented all the cabins plus 5 campsites!)

We rented three cabins for a family trip, including a six-month old Irish Setter puppy. This is the nicest, most comfortable KOA we've stayed at! There is a lot to do nearby but also loads of fun to be had at the campsite itself. The dog park is a great feature. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We will be back!

It was clear that this koa's location was quite the gem and likely the reason for it at one time being named the number one KOA in Michigan. Camp store - fairly nice. I was not greeted when I entered. Cabin - not cleanest I've seen and poorly appointed. Bathroom - pretty clean. Kids liked amenities. Mike & another staff were super helpful. We enjoyed it. Privacy was it's #1 feature. We'll be back.

KOA amenities close when they feel like and not at posted times. There is a employee who lives at a campsite who goes through camper folks trash and resells there items at his campsite. Dirty cabin, looks as if no one cleans them before check in.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This is not true. Our outside staff colollects bottles and cans for charities in the area. Yes, sometimes they go through the garbage to get them. We would never allow anyone to sell items at the sites. Our hours are posted and our cabins are very clean

We really enjoyed our first stay at the Oscoda/tawas koa. The owners are very kind and friendly, our cabin was clean and the campground was quiet (we left as most were coming in for the holiday). Our kids enjoyed the bounce pillow and loved the arcade games. We would definitely recommend staying here and we hope to be back again.

Crammed together, have to walk through other's camp sites. Train run through night next to camp, air conditioner did not work. We left 3 days early because it was awful.

Nice clean place good staff. Honestly the worst showers I’ve ever seen in a KOA. Rain fall low or no pressure head. Either scalding hot or just cold. I’ve stayed at more than 20 different KOA campgrounds over the years.

This was the first stay in the rustic cabins. It was a great experience in the middle of the week. The cabin was very clean and the common bath and shower were immaculate ! We will visit again!

This is our third summer season coming to Oscoda KOA and it never disappoints. The staff is very friendly, the camp grounds are well maintained and it’s always a great time.

We loved our five day four night stay and a rustic cabin. We chose the two room cabin and it was cozy, warm, and dry. When we arrived, they were waiting on us and so friendly. Dale took us to our spot and let us settle in. They deliver firewood and ice to your campsite. The pool was clean and heated. So even though it was a little cool outside, my daughter still enjoyed swimming. The bathrooms were clean and the showers had hot water. The only disappointment was the game room because you had to pay for the games. They had pool, air, hockey, and some arcade style video games. My favorite part of the campground was how quiet it was. I could sit on the porch swing in the morning with my coffee and just listen to nature. And additional bonus was there is a train that goes by twice at night. We were lucky to be able to watch it pass on the last night and wave to the conductor. We enjoyed going into Ocsoda and Tawas For shopping and dining. I would definitely come back here again. It was a wonderful experience.

Great people, very helpful. They come around and pick up your garbage and will deliver firewood. There is a train that goes by every night that is pretty loud and close but is gone quickly.

We LOVED our stay at the campground. We stayed in a deluxe cabin that was very clean and cozy. Our 3 year old was super excited to sleep on the bunk bed. There was lots for him to do. The staff was all friendly and caring. We had some potential nasty weather coming, the owners made sure everyone knew it was coming and was prepared. The camp store had lots of goodies, which I could have dropped a lot of money there. Thanks for a great stay!
