Great place to stay, lots to do for children and adults. We make this our first stop for our camping summer. This park is very clean, quiet and very enjoyable. They have train rides for the kids on the weekends and then on Saturday they bring the firetruck out for rides around the park.Thanks to Mike and his amazing staff, will definitely be back next summer.

Had a wonderful time, loved the staff the environment. I would give this KOA a 10 star for sure. We loved it so much we are coming back for another month.

Add some mulch! Pure black sand in whole site. Had sand inside car and rv. Sites waaay too close. Couldn’t open windows or would hear neighbors inside. Ask for site in newer section with concrete pad and farther apart!

Unbelievably quiet and peaceful for a full holiday weekend. Staff was friendly and helpful. Facilities were nice and clean. Enjoyed the spacious sites and tree cover. Well be back!

We had a great time during our stay! The staff and service overall was incredibly executional and the park was perfect for my 4 year old! The only reasons I have 4 stars was that the sites were a bit sandy and had a good amount of ants, and also the pool was a bit small in my opinion.

I really enjoy the KOA and they do a great job and everything is so clean and nice. My only issue is the rate is getting so high, It’s getting harder and harder for our family to stay multiple days for the holiday.

We stayed over the Fourth of July holiday. Park was nice and clean. Pool was amazing so warm. Everything was great. I just wish they would have had activities for the kids like other KOA do. Especially being a holiday weekend and a completely packed campground.

We had a wonderful stay everyone one was extremely friendly and helpful. The park was very quiet and clean. Our only complaint was the lack of fun activities for the kids.

Site not long enough for rig and truck, but we were allowed to park on the grass. Great playground area, laundry clean and reasonable. Trash pickup up from your site. Good for families, plenty of tent camping sites.

Staff is always very friendly. The restrooms are very clean. My Grandkids really enjoyed the firetruck, train, playground and pool. We will definitely be back!

We have been going to this campground for years and unfortunately this stay was terrible. The campground allows pets which is not uncommon. But two or three dogs to one site is ridiculous. Barking in the morning afternoon and late into the evening. People allowing there pets to poop just about anywhere. The camper next to us was a mess and we had to look at that everyday. Not going back Will miss

This place is gorgeous. Clean. Quiet. And the staff are incredibly helpful. What’s more- it’s close to beaches and hiking. We will be back again soon!

Location great, only cold water for dish sink area. Very closely spaced site for us with unclear boundaries. Had kids in and out of our site’s playing ball which kept coming into our fire pit and picnic table area. There was zero privacy. I know it’s an RV park but I did not expect to have the neighbors fire pit three feet above us.

Our family loves the Oscoda koa. It is very nicely kept, the people are very helpful and friendly. Our kids and grandkids always enjoy the stay, so much so that this year our grandson wanted his birthday party there. We had a great time. Thank you so much!

It was a great experience, the campgrounds were clean, employees were friendly and helpful, firewood was delivered to our site promptly and the facilities were clean. The firetruck for the kids and the train passing through were highlights.

We stay in our same area with the kids and my sister getting cabins every year. Love this area. Everyone at the campground are so helpful and nice. One thing the kids mentioned is the lighting in the arcade room could be a little brighter for puzzle and game playing. Pool is great, and the jumping pillow is a big hit.

We know pot/weed is now legal in the state of Michigan, but when you have little kids and you don’t want to breathe it in for hours, it’s frustrating. I know it's a free country, but I don’t want my kids around it. If it's not allowed at KOA’s, I would recommend reminding the staff as they drove by the campsite that was smoking weed and did not stop it. Sadly, we will not longer visit KO

We enjoyed the campground and our stay. The grand kids enjoyed all the activities, the train ride, the pool, and the firetruck, and playground was awesome. Campground is well maintained and all staff were friendly and welcoming. Great place, great times - thank you.

This campground is a great option for families with kids: playground, pool, train rides, and more. Dog owners, your dog will love the dog park: it's all dirt/mud, but shady. Shady campsites. It was nice to see a handicapped accessible toilet and shower room. The campground could use a touchup: fill ruts on the streets throughout, give the red buildings another coat of paint.

The staff was very pleasant and friendly, very clean and organized campground. In my top five of KOA’s that I’ve stayed at over the past five years. We’ll definitely go back in the coming years.

Overall, it’s a very quiet campground. There are train tracks right next to it but there was only one train that came through during our stay. Staff is very welcoming and went above and beyond for guests.

No complaints here! Staff were all amazing. Camp store was small but offered good selection of whatever you may need. Sites were level and not too close to each other. Peaceful camping trip (yes, there was a train at 9:30 pm each weekday night we were there but it was something my kids waited for each night to see and wave). Enough things to do for the kids they stayed busy as well!

Wonderful wooded Park, tucked back off the highway. Nestled between the rwo towns of Oscoda and Tawas. Welcoming staff, escort service, nice long pull through site. Entire grounds were clean and well kept. Trash pick-up was a nice convenience. Only negative was the train track...but trains only rumbled through a few times a night.

Clean, well organized, lots of kid activities, loved the fenced off railroad to the east, (I'm a railroad fan). RV sites are well maintained, everything worked perfectly!

Awesome secluded campground, but still close to town, with incredible wifi and top notch staff. We live a couple towns over, but had never been to this KOA since its so close. We decided to check it out-- and WOWWWWW. Proud to say our area's KOA is one of the best! Also so appreciative for their graciousness to our visitors. I did not anticipate having ~6 guests stop by that day, but the staff was so welcoming. Thank you!

I stayed at the Oscoda KOA just for one night, as I was on my way home, and I needed to find a spot where I could make it home the next day. The tent sites are laid out a little weird, but the service was great; I arrived "after hours," and as soon as I'd collected my night registration materials and found my tent site, I had firewood delivered, and was asked if everything was good! I wasn't expecting "after hours" check in, and I appreciated it. The restrooms and showers were clean and the store was inviting and had a good selection of souvenirs and "I forgot this"/"I need to replace this" items. This is definitely a place I'd stay again. PS. I understand there are train tracks next to the campground, but I'm also used to that because 1) most campgrounds I've stayed at over the past 15 years are close/next to train tracks, so that doesn't factor into my rating, and 2) I'm literally deaf in one ear, and often sleep in such a way that my hearing ear is blocked... so I don't even notice the noise.
