Park is nice well kept. Only problems, person giving barrel rides was driving way over 5 mile limit making so much dust that the kids were covering there faces and hiding in the barrels. Also one group was running all around the park on electric dirt bikes and the dad was running a gas powered moped, workers seen this and nothing was said. Watching seasonal getting special treatment, we all pay

All of the staff members were very friendly and helpful. They made sure you had the best experience possible. The facilities were clean and well maintained. One of the best KOAs I’ve stayed at and would return if I’m ever in the area again. Beautiful landscape and well maintained grounds.

Everything was good as expected. Wish there was a warning about the active train. Scarred our toddler at night. Please spray for mosquitos. The buddy site was very nice 123/124. Enjoyed our stay, thanks.

Definitely a journey KOA, primitive as KOAs go. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, 10:40 pm train wasn't a problem.

We’ve visited this KOA twice and booked another visit for next year. The playground, jumpshot, and jumping pillow are great and our kids have a lot of fun. The family shower/restrooms are clean, well lit/ventilated, and a huge benefit for us with three small boys who need help getting washed up. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Nice shade, good sites.

Great location, clean and new bath house / laundromat / office. My son really liked the short freight train that comes by at night Monday-Thursday. Stayed in a improved campsite with patio. Friendly and helpful staff.

Owner & staff are very welcoming and friendly! They are making many KOA upgrades to the park. Only suggestion would be to upgrade wifi (very glitchy) and allow golf carts. Park is conveniently located between Oscars & Tawas. Overall we had an awesome mini family reunion. We’ll be back

We've been in this KOA twice in the last 2 years. We love it here. If ever we are back in this area, we will stay here again. Highly recommended. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

All of the staff were extremely kind and went above and beyond to make sure our camping experience went well. The bathrooms next to the camp store were the cleanest campground bathrooms I have ever seen. We will be back for sure!

Always a great place to go camping. Everything you could ask for in a campground. The staff is friendly and helpful. Mike even warned us about an upcoming storm so we could take care of the awning. The winds were really bad. Thanks again for an awesome camping trip.

Lovely sites with lots of trees, birds of all types, especially woodpeckers, pool looks great and opening this weekend! My dog loved Camp K-9 except the A-frame. And the dogs even liked the trains that came through! Will definitely visit again.

We were camping with a large group (20 rigs). The staff here made sure we had everything we needed to make the campout a success. Good location - near a lot of activities (Wurtsmith Air Museum, Tawas Birding Festival, etc.).

We loved our five day four night stay and a rustic cabin. We chose the two room cabin and it was cozy, warm, and dry. When we arrived, they were waiting on us and so friendly. Dale took us to our spot and let us settle in. They deliver firewood and ice to your campsite. The pool was clean and heated. So even though it was a little cool outside, my daughter still enjoyed swimming. The bathrooms were clean and the showers had hot water. The only disappointment was the game room because you had to pay for the games. They had pool, air, hockey, and some arcade style video games. My favorite part of the campground was how quiet it was. I could sit on the porch swing in the morning with my coffee and just listen to nature. And additional bonus was there is a train that goes by twice at night. We were lucky to be able to watch it pass on the last night and wave to the conductor. We enjoyed going into Ocsoda and Tawas For shopping and dining. I would definitely come back here again. It was a wonderful experience.

Great people, very helpful. They come around and pick up your garbage and will deliver firewood. There is a train that goes by every night that is pretty loud and close but is gone quickly.

We LOVED our stay at the campground. We stayed in a deluxe cabin that was very clean and cozy. Our 3 year old was super excited to sleep on the bunk bed. There was lots for him to do. The staff was all friendly and caring. We had some potential nasty weather coming, the owners made sure everyone knew it was coming and was prepared. The camp store had lots of goodies, which I could have dropped a lot of money there. Thanks for a great stay!
