This is one of the nicest campgrounds I have been to. Bathrooms and grounds are kept very clean. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Lots of fun stuff and activities for the kids and family!

We had a wonderful stay here. Very nice campground. Lots of trees, pretty flowers. Loved how the dog park had shady trees in it. Kids loved the playground area. Very friendly people. Clean bathrooms.

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin and it was great. It was very clean and had air conditioning. It had a full fridge, sink and microwave. It did not have a stove top but there was a grill outside that we could use. It had cups, plates, bowls and silverware. There was no bedding or towels, but we knew this before we arrived. Wi-fi was a little spotty, but we were camping, so we didn't mind.

Very clean and maintained facility. Pleasant staff. I would recommend that the electronic games either be repaired, replaced or removed - seeing them without the ability to use them was frustrating for adults and kids. Everyone enjoyed the fire truck. While we did not take advantage of the train ride, we did observe that it seemed to be driven faster than most small children would enjoy.

We were surprised by a 200 charge we had no idea we had to pay... a security deposit? No one said anything when we booked our stat... as a koa member I was shocked and disappointed!!!! The cabin was nice but the lady at the counter didn't care at all that I was upset

Beautiful campground and the bathrooms were very clean!! We came on the last weekend of the season and absolutely loved our time. My one and only complaint is the train that came through at 11:30pm. I didn’t know this was on a train track but at least it only happened one night.

This is our third stay here, twice in the rustic cabins. We love the quiet time watching the birds in the “sanctuary.” We were pleasantly surprised to find the bathroom/bathhouse remodeled! What a beautiful job! The family that own this care about the camp and their campers and it shows!! 2 improvements? Better lighting in the rustic cabins and a bench to sit on in shower area? Nice cabin/campground, loved the arcade area and location. the woman checking me in was rude/short with me and not friendly-no smile, not welcoming at all- I told her I would need firewood and she snapped to let her finish the check in and it was strange. We tried to get a pop in the morning before leaving it was 9:03 and the door was still locked and they just ignored us.

My kids absolutely loved this place. The bouncing pillow thing was awesome and it was a very relaxing stay. The deluxe cabin was definitely worth it with two littles. My kids asked me if we could go to this place ALL the time so chances are we will be making it a yearly getaway. Thank you so much!

I stayed here in a deluxe cabin. It was very clean and comfortable. I stayed here to ride the trails in the Huron National Forest. The grounds were very clean and well kept. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. I plan on returning again

We love staying at the Oscoda/Tawas KOA. The staff are so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The outdoor and indoor areas along with the restrooms are clean and tidy. Would highly recommend!

Sites are a comfortable size…little bit more grass would be nice. A lot of mud if it rains. Deluxe cabin was immaculate. So very clean and comfortable. Looked brand new. Loved it. Most of the staff is very friendly. There was one we weren’t crazy about and didn’t want to interact with. Our kids loved the jumping pillow and play area. Arcade was a nice surprise for them too!

We were on a road trip with our Grandson to the East side of the state on our way to the UP and wanted an easy stay for one night. We loved the cabin and the bathrooms are great!!!! and bonus ...the store was real nice! Owners were so friendly! Cuddos to this KOA!

We stayed as a family of 4 in a deluxe cabin. While having a small kitchen, bath was convenient I felt it was a little small for 4 of us. We have a toddler and baby who was in a bassinet. Next time I would rent a bigger cabin if they're open. When checking be sure to check the temp of your fridge ours was turned down for some reason and we had to throw away most of the food we bought.

Very nice campground; only thing we didn't like was there is no stovetop to cook on in the deluxe cabin we rented; this made it hard to make meals for our family as there is only a microwave for cooking;

Stayed in a deluxe cabin on site 37. We had family members in 2 rv sites and we were all close together which made for very convenient socializing. Seeing the effort put in by the family and also by Bob is amazing. You have a beautiful campground and we will be back.

Cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen at a campground which is especially important when you are camping in a cabin. Friendly staff. Kids had a blast.

We loved our five day four night stay and a rustic cabin. We chose the two room cabin and it was cozy, warm, and dry. When we arrived, they were waiting on us and so friendly. Dale took us to our spot and let us settle in. They deliver firewood and ice to your campsite. The pool was clean and heated. So even though it was a little cool outside, my daughter still enjoyed swimming. The bathrooms were clean and the showers had hot water. The only disappointment was the game room because you had to pay for the games. They had pool, air, hockey, and some arcade style video games. My favorite part of the campground was how quiet it was. I could sit on the porch swing in the morning with my coffee and just listen to nature. And additional bonus was there is a train that goes by twice at night. We were lucky to be able to watch it pass on the last night and wave to the conductor. We enjoyed going into Ocsoda and Tawas For shopping and dining. I would definitely come back here again. It was a wonderful experience.

Great people, very helpful. They come around and pick up your garbage and will deliver firewood. There is a train that goes by every night that is pretty loud and close but is gone quickly.

We LOVED our stay at the campground. We stayed in a deluxe cabin that was very clean and cozy. Our 3 year old was super excited to sleep on the bunk bed. There was lots for him to do. The staff was all friendly and caring. We had some potential nasty weather coming, the owners made sure everyone knew it was coming and was prepared. The camp store had lots of goodies, which I could have dropped a lot of money there. Thanks for a great stay!
